Or Wiccans. or Pagans? Or anyone who is interested in a magical path or feels some magical stirrings.

A place for support, learning, swapping ideas and magical inspiration.

VioletCharlotte

Yes it;s a lovely idea, I often put a couple of drops in the rinse compartment, or sometimes moon water.

speakout thank you for the link- a great read for us laundry witches! I use EO’s and moon water for washing sometimes so it really resonated for me.

Seems many of us are riding the waves of overwhelm atm. So important to prioritise self care amongst it all. Glad to hear you’ve got something nourishing planned for tonight Violet, I hope you feel lifted for it.

Once I shift some emails and eat I’m hoping to find time to play around with some oil blends- potions to ease menopausal symptoms!

speakout · 04/09/2019 20:47

Just finished my blessed cup of peppermint tea, I feel welded to this sofa!
Will drag myself upstairs for a spa shower, then tumble into bed for an early night.

Good morning wise sisters,

I hope everyone is well rested and feeling confident about whatever needs to be faced today.

I have a day full of business meetings, always potentially fraught with the energy of power struggle. As ever I’ll be the only woman present.

I have no desire to exert power over anyone else but will not have mine impacted on by power games, particularly those that I believe to be misogynistic in nature.

So I’ve been using EO’s in a salt bath, colour, correspondences a very special crystal and visualisation to support me in raising the energy I want to embody.

Those men really don’t want to be messing with this witch today! I know my stuff and will stand firm in what I believe to be best for business.

Shame we have to ‘enter battle’ so frequently as women but as that’s the case we may as well enjoy the magic!

Wishing everyone a magical day 💫

speakout · 05/09/2019 10:31

YashmisCrone wonderful to hear your strong words. Female energy is sometimes about standing firm asserting and going into battle.

Sending you powerful thoughts for a successful day.

Good morning sisters, I wanted to share with you a small thing that was magical to me this morning.

As I walked across my living room to get the kitchen my feet were bathed in a perfect temperature sun beam coming through the window. It had warmed the rug up beautifully and I felt so content having my feet warmed up. I admit I went back to enjoy it as I waited for the kettle to boil. I feel that it has set me up for the day.

I hope you all find a small bit of magic in your day.

SalemSpellman · 05/09/2019 10:41

@YashmisCrone feel free to borrow my space suit from last month. I hope all goes well today, I will keep you in my thoughts today and I'm sending you some woman power.

BlankTimes · 05/09/2019 12:33

Yashmis Go girl, you can do it!

That's lovely with the sunbeam Salem I have suncatchers in the windows and love absorbing the rainbows they cast on me as I move around the house. Sometimes I catch a rainbow and place it in my heart, just because Halloween Smile

YashmisCrone · 05/09/2019 19:49

Thank you for the powerful vibes today sisters, I felt them, absorbed them and along with the metaphorical antlers, scythe and staff they saw me stand my ground and ‘win’ my battles Halloween Wink

I agree speakout, female energy can definitely look like this. I feel exhausted but all the better for embodying it.

Salem and Blanktimes I loved reading about your magical moments with sunbeams and rainbows. Beautiful everyday magic 💖

I’m feeling much gratitude for my powerful wise sisters here tonight and will be sending love with my 8pm meditation X

VioletCharlotte · 05/09/2019 21:50

Yashmis well done on standing your ground and not letting the men take your power. I'm sure you're feeling drained tonight, but you should feel proud of yourself for showing these men you're not a push over.

So much strong, female energy here tonight! I've had a challenging day at work too, but I'm feeling recharged and relaxing after tonight's yoga class, which was made extra special as we looked out at the breathtaking sunset as we practised. When I came out of the class the sky was completely clear and the moon was so bright and beautiful. I'm ready for a good sleep now.

Love to you all ❤️

Woodlandwitch · 05/09/2019 22:35

I always have the best sleep after an evening yoga session

I don’t do it regularly enough but my most favourite yoga practise was on Midsummer in an ancient park whilst the sun set late in the evening.
It was beautiful

speakout · 06/09/2019 06:18

Good morning wise sisters.

YashmisCrone I am glad your day went yesterday, I have a lovely image of you with antlers and scythe.
VioletCharlotte I hope you had a restful sleat ep. I am up early for my yoga session at 7.30 am. It's a gentle class in the next town, I had the option of my flow class, but an easy nurturing class suits me better today There is also a pound shop in that town which opens early and a great charity shop- both great for witch supplies.
My kind of morning!

Have a great day everyone.

Sounds like a lovely morning speakout, treasure to be found!

Everyone’s reflections on yoga and how it makes them feel reminds me again it’d be a good thing to take up! It seems so beneficial.

Violet I hope that you’ve had a good sleep and that today is less challenging.

It’s cool and darker here this morning, rain to come. The energy feels fresh and clear.

I’m focusing on generating a more peaceful, productive flow vibe this morning, there is a still feeling in the air that supports this.

Wishing everyone moments of joy as we connect with the beauty that surrounds us. I’ll be city bound with lots of travelling around so I’ll be noticing the sky and nature’s tenacity in built up areas.

P.s what does anyone think about the best tea lights to use? The plain white unscented ones for oil burners. I’ve bought a couple of cheap batches recently where the wicks seem to burn quicker than they melt all the wax. False economy I think!

Love to all x

SalemSpellman · 06/09/2019 08:41

I have signed up to my yoga class again after missing it for a few months. I don't feel complete with out it.

@YashmisCrone I tend to buy my tea lights from
Asda. It's not very often I venture in there? I find it too busy and bright.

I'm taking my little girl to soft play today, another busy and bright place, but it will be worth it to hear her laugh.

YashmisCrone · 06/09/2019 08:43

Just wanted to share this. I thought it was beautiful in its simplicity and relatability

YashmisCrone that is beautiful, Thank you.

Back from yoga and sshopping trip, poundland for some baking things- charity shop I found some trinkets and lovely fabric, Aldi for fruit, craft stuff from the Range- and there I found a great range of Kilner type bottles with swing tops- all shapes and sizes, will be perfect for my flavoured spirits for Yule. Back home now to work.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all.

The weather is turning here and I am grateful for it as I can now start lighting my Rayburn. I do miss cooking on it. And it completely changes the energy in my kitchen when it is warming through.

Last night I did something brave. For the first time ever I stood up in front of a room full of musicians and I sang! It was just me and my voice as a I don't play an instrument. Oh I was SO nervous and my voice wobbled and caught in a few places.
This morning I still can't quite believe I did it!
(I sang Bread and Roses for those of you that know it)

VioletCharlotte · 07/09/2019 10:51

Good morning. A bright start to the day here. I'm just back for a dog walk, the hedgerows are bursting with berries now, so beautiful.

This week's been a busy one, I've been doing a lot of spiritual work as well as my actual job, so I'm glad it's the weekend and time for a break

Queenrollo well done on being brave enough to stand up and sing, that must have been wonderfully empowering. I'm always envious of anyone who can sing, I'm a terrible singer, as my DC will confirm!

Speakout your day sounded nice, I'm glad things have calmed down for you a bit. It's always good when you find some bargains isn't it?

Yashmis thank you for sharing that quote, I may well use that analogy in my readings when I'm talking about letting things go ❤️

YashmisCrone · 07/09/2019 14:09

The powerful goddess energy continues to flourish here!

queenrollo that is just wonderful. Such a brave and powerful thing to do. A wonderful song too. It makes me think of that quote, (maybe Maggie Kuhn?) that says to speak (sing!) your truth even if your voice shakes. It gave me tingles and put a big smile on my face to read that you’d done that. You go goddess!

Salem thank you for the tea light advice- I’ll pop into Asda when I’m next in the city. I hope you were blessed with the sound of your DD’s laughter yesterday.

Violet wishing you a restorative weekend. You’re a gift to others and I know you know that your cup needs filling too. Wise woman waters her own garden first and all that. Glad to hear you’ve been out in nature today.

I’m feeling happy and blessed today. The air is fresh and cool and I have laundry magic underway. I do think it helps us embody the energy of the magic of the seasons and the turn of the wheel.

My late planted sunflowers are developing flower heads and I’m particularly enjoying the violas in the garden.

I’ll be going out shortly to stock up of provisions and hope to get round to some batch cooking to see me through the week.

Love to all and a wish for the weekend to bring you the type energy you need the most

MonstranceClock · 07/09/2019 19:01

Can I ask how you became witches? Was it a conscious decision or did it slowly happen over time?

Elphame · 07/09/2019 19:25

Hello from sunny North Wales - I'm up here for the next 2 or 3 weeks and it's so good to be back. I can already feel my spirit soaring over the mountain tops and I've barely unpacked. The dogs have had a good walk in Betws y Coed and have both crashed out and I'm about to start my second glass of wine.

Life is good!

@MonstranceClock Actually it was my daughter who told me I was a witch. I thought for a while and decided she was probably right!

@queenrollo wow congratulations. That is one thing I would never ever be brave enough to do.

Woodlandwitch · 07/09/2019 19:55

I had been told I was a witch by people I met so many times over the years.
I always had an interest in all things Pagan and Wiccan but kept all hidden as I had often been bullied for being different

Now I embrace it.

I don’t go shouting about it but if someone at work mentions something I’m happy to have a conversation and ask them why they think I could be a witch and then often leave them guessing.

Only my closest friend knows but we grew up together since we were tiny and she also is a witch.

Neither of us have had to tell each other that we see ourselves as witches. We just know.

I never told DH I was a witch.
He just learned pretty quickly as we moved in together after just a short while after. He never mentioned anything or questioned it.

The first time he referred to me as a witch was 3 years after he first met me Wink

Woodlandwitch · 07/09/2019 19:55

Does anyone have the amazing pink sky this evening?

Woodlandwitch · 07/09/2019 19:58

Gorgeous purple/pink sky 🌌

Any Witches Here? Part 9.
speakout · 07/09/2019 21:23

Woodlandwitch beautiful sky.

I don’t think I ever decided to "become" a witch.
I think we all have magical energy, but modern institutions and life have battered us women down. I was taught by my grandmother who was born in 1890, she was a lay midwife, a layer of the dead, a local cunning woman.
I have spent a lot of time in cultures that embrace animism, as we all did at one point, it seems to me the natural connection we have with our land, our earth. Ours children know this instinctively.
I have always felt the way I do, but I have made a decision to call myself a witch as a way of reclaiming the misaligned, the destructive misogynistic constructs that have decided that even the word witch is an insult. I reclaim the term witch with pride.
