Ouch Elphame glad you’re ok and hope it isn’t too sore. I do like that you’re undeterred from going back there!

Such a beautiful image. Thank you.

Thank you @BlankTimes. I do have lavender EO somewhere.

Kalim8 · 09/06/2019 08:43

BlankTimes thank you for your suggestions, she seems to enjoy the night sky, and was delighted when I woke up her very early back in January to see the lunar eclipse (I'd asked beforehand if she wanted me to wake her if it was visible).

We had a nice sit down and a hug on the way back from school, in the fresh air, and a little "I wonder where this path leads" route.
I'll certainly suggest walking barefoot (I do that already sometimes) and she is already interested in bees (if we see a bee thats looks a bit worse for the wear, we'll take it home and give it sugary water).

Sorry, I've forgotten who it was who posted that link with the phrase "it's not boring, you are bored" - what a lovely change from "only boring people get bored" - so sanctimonious and irritating to the bored person in question!

LusciousLavendar, I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through x

VioletCharlotte · 09/06/2019 09:55

Morning everyone. Just catching up on the thread** over a coffee.
Elphame ouch, that's sounds painful Confused I hope you're ok and not too sore.

Kalim8 I loved reading your post. You sound like such a lovely Mum ❤️ It's these little things that mean so much to children and they'll remember when they're older.

Yashmis beautiful energy from your candle, thank you for sharing 🙏

Speakout I agree with other that you were meant to have that necklace. Would love to see a photo when it arrives.

I've been flying too fast and doing too much the past couple of weeks and it all caught up with me yesterday. I combination of PMS and overdoing it had me in bed and asleep at 9pm. Feeling much better this morning. If anyone has any natural PMS remedies they'd like to share, episode be gratefully received. The symptoms seem to be getting steadily worse as I get older 🙄

VioletCharlotte · 09/06/2019 09:56

Please ignore all the random bold words. Not sure what happened there!

YashmisCrone · 09/06/2019 11:38

Lovely to see you Violet glad you’re feeling better this morning. I used to swear by Angus castus for PMS. I took evening primrose oil for a while too. I think I’m peri menopausal now- I know my mum experienced the menopause at my age but it’s hard to get any more information about what to expect from her than that. I’ve heard that these remedies are useful for both so I might get some too.

Attached are extracts from these books

www.bookdepository.com/500-Most-Important-Health-Tips-Youll-Ever-Need-Hazel-Courteney/9781907030765

I hope they attach in the right order! The Green Pharmacy extract starts with the page with the plant picture on and ends with the section above ‘prostate enlargement’. The other photo is the Hazel Courteney book.

This book www.harpercollins.co.uk/9780007145911/natural-healing-for-women/

Has various suggestions:

Essential oils: geranium, rosemary, clary sage, neroli, sweet marjoram.

Herbs/plants: raspberry leaf, parsley, motherwort, chamomile, black cohosh.

Homeopathic remedies: Antomonium crudum, Lachesis, Pulsatilla

But I think they’d all need further research/advice to see if they’re right for you. I know there’s lots to consider when using homeopathic/herbal remedies. I’m lucky enough to have a herbal pharmacy local to me so I’d always go in and seek advice about what to take.

Lovely to read about your DD and your shared connection with nature
Kalim8

I have some work to get done today so I’m enjoying a few minutes with a coffee and watching the birds in the garden before I get started Smile

Kalim8 I saw this and thought of you and your DD connecting with nature. I think many of us can relate.

The other poem/picture was something I found inspiring today. An uplifting reminder of us all I think.

Right, this report isn’t writing itself... any motivation energy anyone has spare would be greatly appreciated Grin

YashmisCrone I love that quote about nature.

Reminds me of walking through a grove of Redwood trees in California, the trees were so tall, so huge, that I felt I was walking into the most majestic cathedral. Tears streaming down my face because I was so blown away by the majesty and awe of such a spectacle.

My beads arrived, I am delighted with them, and already feel a protective shield wearing them. I had a walk though my forest and gathered a handful of treasures, mushrooms, seed pods, berries.

Pic of my new beads!!

Yashmis thanks so much for all those suggestions, I'll have a proper look and research them. You're so lucky to have a herbal pharmacy. I'd love that! All we have is Holland and Barrett, who are pretty clueless!

Speakout I love your necklace, I can just feel the protective energy. I'd like to be able to wear things like that, I can't tolerate any jewellery for some reason, other than stud earrings and one ring.

I've feeling more grounded and relaxed this evening. I spent the afternoon doing my pots and hanging baskets and have just been for an evening walk with my dog. The wild flowers are beautiful at the moment.

Hello again everyone!
I have loved catching up on your sea talk. Dwpm your ghost stone is lovely!

Elephame eek hope you are ok.

Speakout your necklace looks perfect, glad you found it.

There's been nothing magical happening here the last few days we have all been struck down with a bug that's similar to a severe migraine but Dh and dd1 never get migraines and it seems odd we'd all get one, one after the other. Dd2s turn tonight so hopefully by tomorrow it'll be over

Meadowlight · 09/06/2019 22:21

Good evening everyone, I hope it’s been a peaceful weekend, except for Elphame, that sounds terrifying! Interested to know what happens on your return.

Speakout that is a gorgeous mala, I’ve been thinking about getting a tourmaline/moonstone one for some time but haven’t found the right one yet. I’m after protection and pattern-changing energies.

Violet those plants are beautiful, I love the beautiful garden photos on here. And YashmisCrone that image is remarkable, I might have to print a copy for my journal..

It’s been a decluttering day for me - I love a good clearout, helps me focus on what serves me in the now and seems to cleanse the whole house somehow. I threw the windows open, lit a candle and joined Kelly Ann Maddox in one of her YouTube ‘housework rambles’, which are simultaneously witchy and motivating Grin.

Kalim8 · 09/06/2019 23:15

Thank you VioletCharlotte and YashmisCrone

I hope everyone has some magical sparkle in their day.

Good evening,

Not much chance of seeing Jupiter here tonight- cloud and rain..

I’d be interested to hear if anyone catches a glimpse Smile

Elphame · 10/06/2019 20:10

No chance here either. It's been raining heavily for hours and doesn't look like it's going to stop any time soon.

Elfdog had his first outing as a PAT dog today. He was very quiet - I think he found the smells rather overwhelming. I'm sure he'll get used to it very fast. An endless supply of sausage will see to that ;)

YashmisCrone · 10/06/2019 20:22

What an incredible thing to train your dog to do Elphame I think dogs make the best therapists!

Meadowlight · 10/06/2019 20:33

Elphame and YashmisCrone likewise - the thunder and forked lightning was so energising. Tempted to lay all my crystals out in it tonight.

⭐️ for Elfdog, what a wonderful gift you are both giving with his PAT work. Payment in sausages sounds like the perfect motivator Grin.

Elphame · 10/06/2019 20:39

Just cos he looked so cute! I got some very dirty looks when I put the bandana on him. Something else to get used to. I did tell him the coat would have been worse!

YashmisCrone · 10/06/2019 20:47

Aww, SO cute! 😍 that’s made up for me not being able to see Jupiter Grin

YashmisCrone · 10/06/2019 20:49

Slightly envious of your storm @Meadowlight I’ve been hoping for one here. I love storms too

speakout · 10/06/2019 20:49

May get a glimpse of Jupiter tonight, claer skies here, and my bedroom window faces South. Not sure I can wait up for it though, I am washed out. A stressful weekend has led to some resolution today, and tiredness has hit me this evening.

OP posts:
YashmisCrone · 10/06/2019 21:04

Pleased to hear you’ve had some resolution today speakout I hope you have a restorative sleep x
