Good morning. I hope everyone had a good restful night, thank you YashmisCrone, I slept deeply, but full of turbulent dreams, involving male authority figures, overbearing University lecturere, controlling ex partners, my mind and psyche mave been having a thourough reorganisation!!

Woek today, but I will be balancing up the energies by wearing my gooddess crystal, burning rose incense and listening to women singiers as I work- nothing new there!!

I am quite excited as yesterday I recieved a package of rough quartz foraged from the earth near the site of the world's oldest Goddess temple, they haven't been polished or cut and are modest to look at but they hold such energy, I already have one that I wear as a pendant and it gives me great strength. It is becomiing quite smooth as I have touched it so often!!
It is a crystal I don't cleanse.

So much rain here! But a blessing for the garden after so much dry weather.

I'm going to make my self a pot of tea (recently (re)discovered the joys of tea brewed in a teapot, I'm a real grown-up now... and so much easier for experimenting with herbal blends.) and I'm going to catch on the all the recent discussions here.

Always like a treasure chest when I pop by, always an image, an idea, a nugget of information to send me spiralling off down another wormhole. Full of gems!

Would any of you know of a well regarded site or book for what certain things mean please? I've had "rose" coming up a lot recently - on dd's notebook that's turned up on my desk, playmobil rose also turned up on my desk, dd picking a rose quartz necklace at a museum shop, that sort of thing.

I’ve been feeling an overload of overbearing masculine energy in my energetic sphere too recently. Interesting in light of what you said about Jupiter’s influence. I of course realise that our world is out of balance in favour of ‘ the masculine’ anyway. So much call to tap into and embody goddess energy! I’ll be doing some prep in this way before I work with people today. It’s feeling increasingly necessary/useful.

I had another lovely reminder of the power of the spiral dance on my fb feed yesterday. It reminded me that when patterns return with greater intensity it’s an opportunity to deepen my understanding, deeply clear my psyche of unnecessary burdens. Just what I needed. It made me smile to realise that I’ve been wearing a spiral (jade) pendant consistently over the last year.

I’d decided not to buy any more ‘mass produced’ crystals myself due to the ethical issues Elphame highlighted. This is a lovely gift though. I spent some time clearing and setting intentions with it last night and enjoy the idea of magically hydrating throughout the day! I plan on using it to make full moon water next week.

Kalim8 what lovely rose synchronicity. To me that would be about love energy and female power, but I think it’s about what it means to you- what feeling do you get from these items etc. I’m endlessly fascinated by symbolism and correspondences of colour etc

Morning all. I was so disappointed not to see Jupiter last night. It always seems like we get a storm whenever there's any major astronomical event! The rain here was biblical yesterday, it felt like November.

I had a lovely evening with my medium friend who gave me the most beautiful smoky quartz crystal ball to use on my table when I do my readings. It's one of the loveliest things I've ever been given ❤️ Will post a pic later.

Elphame I work for the NHS and we have volunteer PAT dogs. They make such a big difference to our patients, it's wonderful you and Elfdog are doing this.

Kalim8 roses and the colour pink are usually about love. The feeling I'm getting is that this is a relative in spirit who is using roses to let you know they're with you and they love you. Do you have someone in spirit for who roses would have been their favourite flower?

speakout and YashmisCrone yes, I agree, lots of masculine energy - I work in quite a male dominated field and I’ve been feeling the need to ‘re-calibrate’ myself. This morning I drew the three of cups in response to the question ‘what do I need to know right now?’ It felt like a lovely affirmation of this wonderful thread, and also reminded me to seek out more women centred spaces.

One option I’m considering is joining a red tent. A few posters here have mentioned they’ve participated in the past - are any of you able to share anything about your experiences or any advice? Jessica the story witch has a good YouTube on this subject but I’d be so glad of your reflections.

Really enjoying the rose energy chat, for me it can also be about self-love and healing/self nurture. Rose is one of my favourite fragrances.

Rose is a really ancient symbol for many religions. Learned a few things here today prompted by this thread...I like the phrase mystery of constant creation and the rosa mystica, queen of heaven.

Inspiring to hear of the White Roses standing up for freedom of thought under an oppressive regime...

Mary was always my favourite, a childhood of (mild) Catholicism and little pagan offerings of light and flowers in church :)

Sacred mysteries, divine union, gentleness and innocence. Full of meaning. I had a picture of an 'old rose' (i.e. not modern cultivar)
on my bedroom wall during a significant period of 'life unfolding' and flowering. I always think its like going in search of the mystery of life - all those little paths between petals winding to/from the centre of a labyrinth.

Rose is such a powerful symbol. I am loving all the talk of rose. I have a lot of roses in my garden rightb now, all types and varieties, one I planted a few years ago is climbing over everything right now, reaching 20 foot high , and has over 100 blooms, I can see it from my kitchen window, it lifts my heart, my local bees love it too.

Quick funny update, I was at a local greengrocers and every time I go there I seem to end up looking like a knob, today was no exception so I was feeling a bit sad and decided to go home a different way - and unplanned, went past "rose funerals"!

Kalim8 roses are so very popular aren't they, and a very common name, symbol and emblem, especially in England.

I remember when I was breastfeeding my babies, I would see women breastfeeding their babies everywhere- it felt like everyone was breastfeeding.

I have a lot of different roses blooming right now too speakout I particularly love the wild climbing ones. Just lovely. As I came home this evening it made me smile to see my lavender in bud- a protective barrier marking the boundary

Everyone seems to be in good form , heartening to see it.
I haven't been here in a while.
I had a few challenges that began in March , I knew March was going to kick my ass but I feel as though the wheel is turning and I have hope that my illness might be manageable, I will be able to continue working and all is not lost.

Hello sisters,

I'm getting a bit fed up of this constant rain, my plants are enjoying it but my she shed has sprung a little leak. My husband says he has stuff that he can liberate from work to stop the leak.

I've been feeling a bit down in the dumps over the last days and I am struggling to get myself motivated. I need to give myself a good kick up the bum! I'm struggling to find a job, but the longer I am looking the less motivated I am.

I've started to put together a little altar of sorts in my shed, at the moments it's containing items that offer protection before I add anything else.

So excited! (Sorry another name change!) If everything goes to plan, Glastonbury is our destination for the Summer Solstice. Really excited, also nervous as some of you said you felt weird there.

FilledSoda yes I’ve certainly experienced signs and synchronicities with a sense of humour! I think the goddess/the universe/ whatever you choose to call it knows when what we really need is to lighten up!- such a tonic and helps with flow IME

Lucky enough to have a break in the rain later on today here- it really brightened up for a couple of hours. I took the opportunity to dash to see the sea after work. So many varieties of wild roses in bloom. Lots of happy bees 🐝

FilledSoda I absolutely think that humour is an aspevct to magical work, I hope no one minds me reposting something that happened on Easter weekend this year, it was so funny to see, made me chuckle. Apologies to those who have already seen it.

*I have to share what has happened today! Quite funny.

DD has been grubbing up roots of a dead shrub in my front garden to make way for new planting.
She is 19, strong, a dancer, it is a hot day and she is wearing gym , shorts, top type clothing it is hefty work and she is tearing up the earth.
I have open plan garden, my neighbour sees what she is doing and brings out a chair just 6 feet away and a beer to watch. Shoes off, dog by his side,
His lechery is palpable.
I was so close to calling her in to ruin his entertainment but instead I picked up a newly moon blessed crystal and asked the goddess for help. I kissed the stone, hung out a load of laundry and went to look out of the window.
At that precise moment I saw the dog urinating on my neighbours boots, neighbour turned to see, jumped up in a flash, knocked over the chair, chair upturned, beer glass was knocked over and glass smashed.

That should keep him busy for a while.,*

Shhhsecretsquirrel I've never been but I'd jump at the chance . It's really interesting how people feel in Glastonbury, I gather the energy isn't always comfortable, that wouldn't put me down off , a bit of shadow in the mix is no bad thing.

The dark weather can amplify those feelings.
My alter is protection based too , that and gratitude . I have something to protect the house and pets when I'm not here , something to guard against fire and something to repel ill intent. I like to work with ancestors as well , so photos and candles are important .
It evolves in it's own time.

I bought a heated throw to ease my arthritis a short while ago , it wasn't cheap and I felt so guilty buying it at the start of summer , well I'm not feeling guilty now !
