@BlankTimes Thank you so much, I'll definitely look into all that. A lady in the shopping area today said she did reiki on herself but not others, now that makes sense.

I wonder if Cornwall is like our natural habituat as it were. I swear by Crantock Beach tide in or out, it makes Newquay look something else. I just feel calm there, as if I kind of belong there.

DH said when we left I looked almost heartbroken. Maybe a bit of an exaggeration, I didn't think it was that apparent though. I'd say deflated would be the best description.

Elphame · 26/05/2019 20:28

Lovely day today wandering around Savernake Forest. There are some strange spots though. We'd jut gone past the King and Queen oaks when I suddenly felt terribly tired. Legs like lead and walking was like wading through treacle. I said as much to DP and he was feeling much the same! Even the dog was clinging close to my ankles which is unlike him in woodland.

After about half a mile the malaise lifted. The treacly atmosphere dissipated and all was good. We stopped and had the remains of the coffee and some biscuits to try and ground out a bit. Very strange.

I did make a new friend though - it's been ages since I saw an inchworm.

Starstruck are you looking to have Reiki carried out on you by a Reiki practitioner, or to be attuned? I've had Reiki therapy, it's lovely and really helps to rebalance.

Elphame that's very strange, but Savernake Forest is quite weird in places. I've had an vibe driving through it a couple of times.

VioletCharlotte · 26/05/2019 20:55

*an odd vibe that should say.

chuckyeggtimestwo · 26/05/2019 21:03

Hello lovely witches. reading this thread is so relaxing and strangely comforting. I haven’t practised witchcraft myself but have always been interested (and my favourite films of all time is ‘Practical Magic”!

I have a question if anyone thinks they can help (i dont know if it works like that?). Im very conflicted at the moment regarding my upcoming wedding and a bit of a curveball that has been thrown. I love him but feel disrespected and hurt. Am I being overly emotional? Is he being reasonable and Im reading too much into it?
Any advice?

BlankTimes · 26/05/2019 22:53

You're welcome Star

Elphame I've not been but Savernake has quite a reputation, not surprised you picked things up Violet it's even mentioned on MN, don't read if you're going there after dark. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3484225-Savernake-forest

Hi chuckyeggtimestwo and welcome, come and grab a beanbag by the Aga and help yourself to a brew from the Magic Teapot - it pours you any sort of beverage you'd like. I can't help with your question, sorry.

HillsBesideTheSea · 26/05/2019 23:24

Perhaps you might be able to help with mine. Should I be paying attention to dreams that contain fae or gods? Am I supposed to be learning from them?

Elphame · 27/05/2019 10:36

Oh I didn't realise that creepy story was in Savenake! It's too far from home really for us to be regular visitors and there is no way I'd go there alone as I really have no sense of direction and I'd get lost.

I am tempted to take a few friends though and try a night walk! I've done some night work in Leigh Woods in Bristol - that too has some very strange and some downright unfriendly spots. I'm not going to ever forget the evening we had in a circle of old yew trees. Something from there tried to follow us out of the wood.

chuckyeggtimestwo. Welcome. I can't help you either I'm afraid.

HillsBesideTheSea Maybe or maybe not! Does the dream strike you as significant? have you been watching or reading anything that could be behind it? If I'm not sure I write down as much as I can remember and meditate a bit on it.

VioletCharlotte · 27/05/2019 10:46

Blanktimes that story is extremely creepy. Elphame you're a braver women than me to want to go there at night!

Hills with dreams, I always get a gut feeling if I'm being told something in a dream. It feels different somehow. As Elphame says, I would write it down. I had a strange one myself last night (about my hair being cut off!) I got the feeling I was being told something so will meditate on it later.

Chuckyegg I can turn the tarot cards for you if you would like me to?

speakout · 27/05/2019 11:16

VioletCharlotte

Any Witches Here? Part 8.
YashmisCrone · 27/05/2019 12:22

I hope everyone has a little time for themselves today- nurturing our goddesses energy is crucial work IMO!

I had shivers reading the spooky forest tales. I haven’t been to Savenake but would agree Leigh Woods has some strange spots!

I agree with the others about the significance of dreams Hills- if you feel it’s significant then it probably is. I’ve found it helpful when deities have turned up in dreams for me- on reading what they represent I’ve often found a lesson or message.

Welcome chuckyegg I’m glad you can feel the calming energy of our lovely space here- I love it too. Re your feelings on your wedding- the only thing I would suggest would be to find whatever way works for you to tune into your intuition- IME we usually have the answers we seek.

Elphame I love your inchworm picture!

Love to all x

Giggorata · 27/05/2019 12:57

I slept in Savernake Forest alone in my van many years ago. I'm glad I didn't read that story first!

HillsBesideTheSea · 27/05/2019 13:26

I spoke to a friend who I knew when i was going through a very difficult point in life, and was given some good advice. I suspect it ties back to the dreams which I have been having in various forms for months and months. Traditionally I would mull over and analyse the dreams and the advice but this time I am going to follow the strict instructions to get a grip and stop being an idiot. Grin Gotta love it when you know people who will tell you exactly what you need to hear in the manner you need to hear it. I would not have thought to contact this person without this thread allowing me the opportunity to seek answers in a safe place. thank you.

I know i am not drawing any tarot cards atm. as the message is strong and firm on that point. when your question is what 1 thing do i need to do to make this change progress well and you get 6 cards thrown at you that all tie in together with similar versions you take the hint!. So very glad that I headed advice and started with the everyday witch tarot cards, the green witch ones I favour are still patiently waiting for me to be ready.

Trying hard not to be so inward facing but atm I am really really struggling, there is so much being thrown at me that I need to focus on. Keep the tea pot warm, I hope to be back and more able to interact properly soon. Sorry.

VioletCharlotte · 27/05/2019 13:45

Speakout I've sent you a pm.

Yashmis lovely picture. I love the vase with the bee 😊

Speakout I don't normally get that much, your energy is amazing! I'm very much still a novice, so I'm sure I won't have interpreted everything correctly, but I hope some of it resonates x

YashmisCrone · 27/05/2019 14:01

Hills the pot’s always warm for you Brew glad to hear you got the advice that resonated. Not always what we want to hear is it. Guidance like this has always been the most pertinent IME. Love to you x

Thank you Violet the vase was a present a few years back from someone who’d seen it in a charity shop and thought of me. I love bee symbolism and use it for workings around harmony and restoring equilibrium. It’s never let me down. I love it when tools make their way to us like this and also when everyday items come along and become powerful tools for our magic. I like to use flowers for their symbolism in the same way we can use stones, colours etc 😊 🐝

speakout · 27/05/2019 14:10

VioletCharlotte

Thank you so much.

YashmisCrone I love that vase too- at noon today I was getting something out of my car and as I looked down there was a bee making merry on a bright yellow poppy flower, It was covered in pollen and seemed quite excited at discovering such a haul, buzzing around the flower at top volume as it was scooping up the nectar.
I paused for a moment to watch such an energetic sight, the dazzling sunshine colour of the poppy and the bee in such a busy state.

Bees are brilliant!

Aren’t they?!

Love the synchronicity 💛

@VioletCharlotte please can I have a reading if you have time? I'm enjoying being back at home and tending to my plants.

StarStruckStarGazer · 27/05/2019 18:33

@VioletCharlotte If you need any more testers in the future, please may you do mine.

I read Archangel cards at the moment if anyone would like a reading for free. As I learn and develop, there's other stuff I can do & would be happy to share it with the group.

You all have been so fantastic. I think honestly I can get along without what I wanted. I need to make a plan of action, I'll start replying directly to more people, I just have to write it down, as I can remember specifics, but mix up peoples names.

Frostyapples · 27/05/2019 18:42

Hi everyone. Just reading through the thread and catching up with everything - it's been a while! I've been busy with a new full time job and planting more herbs and vegetables in the garden. I wonder if anyone can help me, I have been given a small sum of money (£150) and would like to treat myself to a nice crystal necklace. Can anyone recommend anywhere online to look? I have tried my local crystal shop but nothing really grabs me. Thanks xxx
