Beautiful Misty thank you 🙏

What wonderful energy to share with us- I’ll happily and take some into my day with gratitude Smile

I love the image of you going about your work accompanied by candles, incense and uplifting music speakout I think the things you create are infused with such soothing and uplifting energy.

I’m also now thinking about making my own chapatis-I don’t know why I haven’t thought of it before!

Sok1ere lovely to see you Smile sounds like life is busy for you. I hope you can work some renewal magic into your renovations- a good chance to weave in the type of energy you’d like to generate more of..

Hills I love it that you felt the energy of the candle connection despite consciously forgetting.

You’re so in tune and it sounds like you’ve made great progress with the filters. I remember your first hare siting at Christmas- just when you needed the comfort and protection of the goddess. Powerful stuff!

Loyaul I’m not sure how helpful this will be given it’s probably impossible to get in the bath atm, but I used to use oats to help with DS dry skin when he was small. In a sock over the tap as the water ran, it provided a soothing soft soak for him.

I recently had a home made Shea butter and lavender body butter that I found very soothing and good for dry skin. I bought it from a local craft stall.

Thank you for sharing what you use Blanktimes I’d love to make my own products too- I’ve used coconut oil before and like the idea of creating my own ‘potions’ with healing/rejuvenating intentions infused in them..

I was woken by a call from DS this morning- excited and about to pop open a bottle of fizz to celebrate a new, better paid job. It’s a six month contract and will give him the means to explore Indonesia after it comes to an end. I’m delighted for him and love to hear him happy. It means he won’t be home for Christmas as I’d thought but overall I’d rather he got to explore more of the world- such a wonderful opportunity.

I also had a little chat with his gf. He met her on his travels and she’s so far avoided ‘meeting’ me on FaceTime. Like so many young people she’s conscious of how she looks. I find this so sad, she’s an attractive young woman but that’s not the point. If she knew me she’d know that looks are the last thing I’m concerned about. Anyway it was good to finally talk and DS was really pleased we had.

I saw something on fb yesterday about mercury retrograde and how even though it does have an impact, we also ‘feed’ it with our collective consciousness. The stories we tell about it’s negative impact reinforce it’s power over us etc.

I quite liked that because on the flip side if we focus more on what we can learn from it and see it as an opportunity for growth (like the example Violet gave UT) then we can make it more positive.

I often think the worst thing about experiences we have is the fearful story we tell ourselves about them. I like the idea that we have more agency to influence our own experiences.

Wishing everyone some magic in their day 💫

I should be working, but just wanted to respond to a point that *YashmisCrone and violet made about Mercury retrograde.

YashmisCrone you have described the point so accurately and I totally agree about feeding the fear.

Although some chaos can happen during Mercury retrograde it is also a great force to break and release.
So bad habits can be broken, relationships re evaluated, toxic interactions shed, bad systems broken.

It's about a shake up, some things may get confused and communications upset, but within that disorder we discover new jewels, new ways of thinking and relating and clears the way for new structures.

Like the Tower Tarot card, yes upset and destruction, but a can be a positive and very necessary in some situations.

So I agree, although we view this aspect with trepidation, there are usually a few golden nuggets that are to be found during the transition.

Loyaultemelie · 18/03/2019 11:29

BlankTimes yes I get on much better with natural too. Thank you for a wonder given Dh is in charge I actually have all those ingredients so I'm going to try the intensive one!
Yashmis I will look forward to trying the oats when I get back to my beloved bath. It was always my "me time" a hot bath with candles to relax and I miss it! Great news for your ds!
That's interesting about the flip side of mercury retrograde

speakout · 18/03/2019 14:10

And some further thoughts about Mercury retrograde- although we tend to think about Mercury's influence in the oiuter world, communication, plans etc, Mercury also influences our inner world.

So a retrograde aspect is a good time to work on out thought patterns and processes, if we have thinking habits that need to be pruned- anxiety for instance.
We can use the power of the retrograde to disrupt thinking patterns that don't serve us well, using meditation or spellwork, or shadow work.
I am sure there are lots of other instances where the power of Mercury retrograde can be put to good use.

Loved the candle connection and the feeling of kindred companionship every time I caught sight of my glowing candle last night.

Loyaultemelie Thanks for asking about the dry skin remedies. I have this issue too and until I'm well enough to mix up some of the fantastic suggestions upthread, I'm using this. Which works much better when I remember to use it Smile

And Elthame I am also quite taken with your sculpture which looks amazing in daylight AND by candlelight. The Wheel of the Year on that link you shared is calling. Own up you lot, who currently has items in their basket, as seen on the website? Grin

VioletCharlotte · 18/03/2019 19:34

Thank you all for last nights candle connection. I felt so calm and slept really soundly 🙏

Yashmis and Speakout interesting posts about the mercury retrograde. I've been doing a bit of reading about it and have found similar views. I am trying to view it in a more positive light (but wish it would leave my electrical appliance alone!)

Enchanters there's so many gorgeous things on that website isn't there? I may or may not have a couple of bits in my basket! 😉

Loyaul when I get really dry skin I find that bathing in coconut oil and Epsom salts helps. Also the Dr Organics Manuka honey hand cream is really good, it's the best one I've found. You can get it in Holland and Barrett.

Elphame · 18/03/2019 19:49

I think Wyn needs to pay me commission! Seriously though her work is lovely. I have a beautiful goddess bowl that sits in my garden as a bird bath.

Bit of a sad day today. It was the funeral of a friend and a former working partner. His family played a bit of the ritual that we recorded a while ago. I haven't heard it for years and it was both lovely to hear his voice and mine blending in the chant. The energy levels in the Crem rose noticeably! He was very gifted and will be missed.

It was a lovely pagan service. Really beautiful and meaningful.

YashmisCrone · 18/03/2019 22:55

I’m sorry for your loss Elphame.
It sounds like a beautiful and powerful send off you gave him.

How lovely that your chanting was part of the ceremony. I hope you’ve been able to have a peaceful and reflective evening x

I do think Wyn should give you commission! She seems to now be all sold out of mini moongazing hares Wink

Enchanters it also made me smile how many things I looked at were in people’s baskets.

MN witches go shopping Grin I daren’t even start clicking on the undoubtably lovely moisturiser links

speakout I loved reading your thoughts about mercury retrograde.

I’m particularly interested in how mercury influences our inner worlds and drawn to the idea of using the retrograde to change unhelpful thought patterns, processes etc.

Lots of food for thought and helpful reframing potential- thank you 🙏

It’s hard to see in the photos but I walked amongst these beautiful trees after work today. They are huge, old and felt very powerful. Wonderful energy to open up to. This evening I saw this on Facebook. It really resonated for me.

Wishing everyone a restful and replenishing night ✨

So sorry for your loss Elphame, I'm glad it was such a lovely service.
Thank you all for your suggestions about the dry skin, I think I'm mummifying slowly. Ooh I like that Website too.

It's a grey and damp day here but I think even Dh realised how much I miss being out in nature because he arrived home from the shop with a plant for me, something he never does!

VioletCharlotte · 19/03/2019 09:33

Sorry for your loss Elphame. What a beautiful way to celebrate the life of your friend. It sounds like it was a very special ceremony.

Yashmis what lovely photos, thank you for sharing. There's some stunning scenery near where you live. Energy from trees is so powerful isn't it? I've really missed my walks in the forest, I haven't been for a while because of all the high winds we've been having.

Hope you all have a good day x

EnchantersNightshade · 19/03/2019 09:33

Elphame That sounds like a wonderful service & far from the usual dull Crem conveyor belt send-offs. Flowers

YashmisCrone Thank you for that nature dose, both the wise old trees & wise words. Resonates here too.

Full Moon at 1.42 am Thursday here, but 12.42 pm -ish- for Mistymount who's been making sterling efforts to keep the Aga going overnight for us. (Has anyone else registered for this? www.fullmoon.info I do enjoy their free reminder emails).

I'm loving this Spring energy. Like I've woken from my hibernation. Will enjoy it while it lasts Smile

speakout · 19/03/2019 09:49

Good morning witch sisters.

What beautiful photos, Loyaultemelie what a lovely gift, how thoughtful of your OH.

I understand the need for a plant fix, often when I visit the supermarket I gos and have a good few intakes of breath over the flower section, that lovely fresh botanical scent is like no other.

YashmisCrone that's a lovely poem, very inspiring.

*Elphame " I too am sorry for your loss. A meaningful ceremony does help a little doesn't it. It sounds a very special one.

I had to smile last night.

My DS lost his phone yesterday, but didn't have much time to look before leaving for work, he asked if I could search his bedroom. He did think he had left it at the gym.
So I did, he is a pretty tidy soul, but I emptied his bin ( going through it carefully, checked his desk, table, all the shelves, pulled our the bed under the bed, under pillows, drawers.
I dusted a little bit, straightened his desk.
Nothing.
I went in another 2 or 3 times over the day, checked window ledge, again his desk, near the charger and near his keyboard.

OH came home and I told him. ( DS was still at work).
OH is a fairly sombre serious fellow, ( on the surface), suit, RP accent, but immediately came back to the sitting room with two squares of chocolate and put them on the doorstep of the brownie door that I have attached to the skirting. ( Our house elf)
He said "give it 10 minutes", then went up to DS room to look for the phone.
He came down within a minute,- he had walked in and the phone was sitting in full view on my son's desk.
I had looked there a dozen times already!

THis is not an unusual occurance, in fact it works every time.
Other people outside the family know of it too.

My DS was happy to have his phone back.

Morning (just!)

Elphame that sounds like a brilliant send-off for your friend on the next stage of his journey.

Beautiful Flowers Loyaul and wow Speakout great to see you have the family accustomed to ask for the brownie's help too Halloween Grin

YashmisCrone · 19/03/2019 12:30

speakout Grin brilliant! That really made me smile and glad your son has his phone back.

Loyaul what beautiful flowers Smile a lovely gesture too- he obviously knows you well!

Thank you for that link Enchanters- I’ll sign up later Smile

I thought I’d share this morning’s nature dose with you spring is on it's way..helping out with a dog is doing me good.

Violet I am very lucky where I live. Yes, I love tree energy too. I hope the wind soon dies down where you are so you can get out in it as well

Any Witches Here? Part 7.
VioletCharlotte · 19/03/2019 19:42

Speakout that's a brilliant story, really made me smile. Your OH sounds lovely.

Yashmis another beautiful pic 😊 I managed to get home from work early enough to get out for a long dog walk this evening. It was so nice to get out into nature. I feel totally revived and full of energy again.

FitzsFool · 19/03/2019 20:10

Hello all. I had the passing thought that I must drop in and catch up with you all this weekend and I see at around the same time you were joining together in a candle connection - I can only think that all that energy you were sharing tickled my mind somehow and reminded me to come by and visit!

I'm enjoying reading through the posts and seeing what everyone has been up to.

My mind has been turning to my garden and excitement for the seeds I am sowing there. Someone in the last thread mentioned Bealtaine Cottage and that's become such a source of inspiration for me recently, so thank you.

Lovely too to see Wyn Abbot's ceramics get a mention, such beautiful things and so funny that I should be sipping from this very cup this evening! With Oestra round the corner it seems right to be giving a nod to the Hare.

Warm blessings to you all.x

Mistymount · 19/03/2019 23:19

Elphame I am so sorry for your loss. That sounds like a very special service which celebrated your friend, their life, beliefs and friendships beautifully.

Yashmis Those photos really reminded me of the UK. I worked from home one day each week and after school drop-off, the dog and I would meander through the mossy, bluebell-filled paths by the river before sitting down to work. I’d sit and drink in the tranquil energies whilst the dog would wander off and hunt for anything vaguely edible - he loved to snaffle blackberries straight from the bushes. Far better than sitting on the motorway for 2+ hours battling to get into the office.

Enchanters I have an app called Daff Moon. It allows you to select hemisphere and shows lots of information about the sun, planets and what you might expect to see in the night sky. Of course, as the moon waxes, the increasing light that comes into our bedroom each night is obvious Grin The other day DS1 mentioned that he might choose astronomy as a subject for next year (yr 9 - 3rd year seniors for oldies like me). I didn't even know they could do that at school. Blimey, times have changed.

Loyaul such a beautiful gift from your DH. I hope it gave you the nature fix you crave. I am not to be left unattended in supermarkets, garden centres, Bunnings (like B&Q) as I always come home with plants or flowers - the local farmers’ market is my real weakness though.

Speakout I love hearing about the fabulous relationship you and your family have with your house brownie. I always felt that we shared our house back in the UK with someone – lots of missing/randomly returned items & corner of the eye phenomenon. I felt it was the man who had built the house in the 1850s just popping in every now and then. Interestingly, my DSs have the same name as him and him father/eldest son – I found this out after the fact when I began to dig into the history of the house.

Lovely to see you by the Aga again Fitz. Hares have been popping up everywhere here too – I have even managed to do a half decent sketch of one. I play about with abstract acrylic paints usually, but have started sketching a wee bit lately.

Wishing you all a peaceful night Star

Good morning all! Speakout how brilliant your DH has embraced your brownie. Dd1 is still trying to attract one here (no more fish in the washing machine though thank goodness!)

Misty your pictures are wonderful, I'm smiling so much at the dog snaffling blackberries

Fitz what a lovely mug! Yes the garden is on my mind too (can't do much about it at the moment) we were chatting last night about some of the things we'd love to do with it this year.

Wishing you all a little sparkle today

Good afternoon sisters,

I’m excited about the equinox- I love these days of equal balance and the fact that we are about to welcome spring with it’s fertile potential for growth. This evening I plan to set up a small altar to meditate with and focus on what is growing and what I’d like to grow in my life.

I thought this article was interesting

Glad you were able to get out yesterday Violet, so lovely to feel restored and revitalised by Gaia.

Fitz it’s good to see you and I love the synchronicity of your hare mug and the fact that you ‘felt’ the candle connection. Hills did too, despite consciously forgetting Smile

Misty your photos are beautiful and what a talent you have- I love the hare sketch. Are you celebrating autumn equinox today?

Loyaul I hope you’re comfortable and that being able to get out in the garden isn’t too far off for you.

Hope everyone is having a good day

Your Hare picture is stunning MistyMount

I didn't watch my Ps and Qs during the retrograde so I have some fall out to deal with. It happens. Lessons being learnt on that front.

Having a really off time atm. So actually booking a couple of nights away in the place where I am always drawn. I hope it will help focus the energies to be productive before hand and relax the mind/spirit afterwards. So much to do, no energy or motivation to do it. Especially today when my body is demanding that I listen to it. Grin I'm listening.

BartonHollow · 20/03/2019 15:21

Hello,

Took a bit of a break as you know

Must tell you about last night

I had to go outside quite late and noticed that the moonlight was casting shapes in the clouds, never really seen that before

It was very clearly a rams head, then a lamb

I'm not an Aries, nor do I have a close Aries in my life. I'm a Leo/Virgo Cusp, but I had my chart done and she went Virgo.

What could this signify ? If anything ?

YashmisCrone · 20/03/2019 15:23

Sounds like a good plan Hills a getaway could be just the thing you need. I wonder what that place has for you- I always think there must be something if we’re drawn to somewhere.

Apologies for my strange repeating post above- don’t know how I managed that! 🤷‍♀️

VioletCharlotte · 20/03/2019 16:08

Hello all, catching up on all the posts. I've been busy today at work, it's always so nice to drop in here and feel the calming, positive energy 💫

I'm excited about the equinox too Yashmis.. looking forward to longer days and lighter evenings. I've enjoyed the winter months and retreating into my burrow, but I'm ready to come out again and feel alive. And this is a really special equinox as we also have a full moon super moon! 🌕

Any Witches Here? Part 7.
speakout · 20/03/2019 16:37

BartonHollow

I saw the moon making wild shapes last nigh too, it was quite a spectacle wasn't it. I was driving so wasn't able to spend time moon gazing, what you saw was so amazing.

I am excited about the equinox and full moon too, I can really feel the source at the moment, exhilirating but exhausting!

YashmisCrone That looks an interesting link you posted, I will save it fo a quiet moment and a cuppa.

Misty I love your hare, you have a great talent, I am also a sucker for hares!!

It's been a really busy week, but in a good productive way, everyoe around me has a skip in their step right now, which is lovely.
