MN Christian Prayer Request Thread:Believe it or not ..... JULY WEEK ONE!!!

Summary for last week .....

CaptainCaveman - DS has had nasty bug, much better now - Praise God! Continued prayers for DSis who has been sacked from her job & has gone to live with parents. CC has a horrid "feeling" about her sis. Prayers of protection for her & her DD. Prayers for A & J at her church - lady has just come out of surgery for cancer. Prayers for completion of CC's assignment; & prayers for her friend & her DC's who are currently living in a Hotel, looking for new accommodation following the terrible floods "Up North".

Rosey - Feeling weary & low. Praying DH finds a fantastic "child friendly" job asap & that he would find an excellent bereavement counsellor to help him with 'issues'. Praying for DS with his Pox & for DD's excema, esp as the nurse from the hospital approaches the school about them regularly creaming her...

BedofRosesitAin't - Feeling closer to God. Prayers that she and her DH wold have an amazingly Blessed time as they go away (sans DCs ) this month.

Tasja - Welcome! Prayers that her child minding business would flourish asap.

Mars - Prayers for lady she is currently "Doula-ing" for - that the baby would come soon in a quick & smooth sort of way!!

bobsmum - Prayers that church leader Neil would find peace & rest AND SLOW DOWN!! Prayers for her & her DH as they are extremely busy atm. Continued prayers for DH's job & for her singer / songwriter friend Yvonne to be a huge success in getting her beautiful voice / God's word across!

harriseys - Prayers for protection as they go to spend family holiday time on Harris.

PandaG - Prayers for friend's DD who is in hospital with an inexplicable rash.

CaptainDippy - Prayers for Adam who is starting to move & respond now.

Lots of prayers, love & support for NASWM

Prayers for victims of the floods in the north of the UK and for Alan, the BBC correspondent who has been taken hostage.

friend's DD still very poorly - very high temp and not properly awake. Am very worried

Been to DS's new school tonight, love his new teacher, plus his special needs teacher, she is sooooo supportive, thank you God for putting my mind at rest! I know I should trust in you more!

Please pray for my dear friend K. He has pancreatic and liver cancer and is not well enough for chemo. The prognosis is very poor without chemo. He has a loving wife, also called K, and 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren.

new to mums net. please include DD in prayers she is having adonoids removed and grommets inserted on Thurs. have been here looking for advice. am a bit worried.

Welcome KSM, prayers now for dd and for your peace of mind. No doubt others with more knowledge of the procedure will come on and inform you as much as you need. Keep in touch.
Thanks CD for your excellent update, to include NASWM, glad to see that you are posting on this thread; of course we will pray for your friends and their family, but also, be assured that prayers are going up for your situation daily. Please keep posting

Just wanted to echo what DO said (you said it perfectly!) - welcome ksm, your DD is in my prayers - and you also, to help you with your worry (mums just can't help worrying!)

Panda - praying for friends DD. She's not much older than my DD...

Sooz - good to hear about DS's school, must be a GREAT relief!

Praying for your friends dd Panda, and for your little girl KSM. Lord, bless them both and keep them safe.

NASW - special prayers for your friend and for you too, Hon.

Feeling today. I shouted at the boys before school today. We all had a big hug before they left, but we are all feeling a bit wobbly now.

However, the sun is shining, at the moment, and I must get on with the day.

Great to hear about dss new school Sooz. Have you got any feeling for how dh's work is going yet? It feels as if it is going well from the bits you have said.

Yuk. I dislike colds muchly. Everyone has got it now - DD's all v.snotty, DH headachey - DD3 keeps being sick cos of the phelgm, poor love. Apart from that, all ok in DippyLand!

Not long til the Meet-Up!! Could you email me the postcode of the place we're meeting up at, NQGU? So we know where to go - All cool with the family we'll be staying with?? Perhaps you could furnish me with their number so we can have a wee chat before descending upon them!!

Sooz - Praise God for the positive stuff re: DS1's school - He is providing for you hon!

naswm - Good to "see" you here sweetie - you have been very much in thoughs & prayers with all of us. Will deifnitely pray for your friend K and for her family too. A desperate situation. Please keep us updated & feel free to pop in whenever you need - you are not forgotten! {{{{hugs}}}}

fabbola as ever CD, I read with a tear in my eye (sniff)

Welcome ksm - worrying time for you but rest assured the operation(s) are relatively simple (although not pretty seeing adenoids removed ) and your dd won't remember too much about it. However, I appreciate as a mummy how scary it is watching your child put under anaesthetic (I'm a nurse but I sobbed when ds had his op!). Prayers for you.

Assigment update - just got recommendations, introduction and conclusion to do! yippee!! Now at the stage of not caring whether it makes sense or not

You lot are truly fab and I thank God every day for putting you on mumsnet

ps. ds thinks the vicar is God, and wants to know when he will climb on to the cross that hangs in church

cc - that is so strange, my ds thinks exactly the same, plus god climbs to heaven up 'the beanstalk' arn't they soooo cute (and that was ds1 when he was 5)

Right off to help some friends who are moving house today ...... DD£ is straining for a poo, not surprised - she hasn't done one in a week!!!! Best take some pare clothes with me, I think .....

CD - please forgive me, I was just looking at your profile, having a laugh at my eyesight

I looked at your wedding photo I thought you were 9 months pregnant, I put my reading glasses on and see and read that you were sitting on deckchairs and what I thought was your bump are in fact your knees! rofl
