Summary for last week .....

CaptainCaveman - DS has had nasty bug, much better now - Praise God! Continued prayers for DSis who has been sacked from her job & has gone to live with parents. CC has a horrid "feeling" about her sis. Prayers of protection for her & her DD. Prayers for A & J at her church - lady has just come out of surgery for cancer. Prayers for completion of CC's assignment; & prayers for her friend & her DC's who are currently living in a Hotel, looking for new accommodation following the terrible floods "Up North".

Rosey - Feeling weary & low. Praying DH finds a fantastic "child friendly" job asap & that he would find an excellent bereavement counsellor to help him with 'issues'. Praying for DS with his Pox & for DD's excema, esp as the nurse from the hospital approaches the school about them regularly creaming her...

BedofRosesitAin't - Feeling closer to God. Prayers that she and her DH wold have an amazingly Blessed time as they go away (sans DCs ) this month.

Tasja - Welcome! Prayers that her child minding business would flourish asap.

Mars - Prayers for lady she is currently "Doula-ing" for - that the baby would come soon in a quick & smooth sort of way!!

bobsmum - Prayers that church leader Neil would find peace & rest AND SLOW DOWN!! Prayers for her & her DH as they are extremely busy atm. Continued prayers for DH's job & for her singer / songwriter friend Yvonne to be a huge success in getting her beautiful voice / God's word across!

harriseys - Prayers for protection as they go to spend family holiday time on Harris.

PandaG - Prayers for friend's DD who is in hospital with an inexplicable rash.

CaptainDippy - Prayers for Adam who is starting to move & respond now.

FAB NEWS - I have finished my assignment, warts and all . I'm going to celebrate by buying myself a new hockey glove, how exciting!!

oh gosh just realised I haven't posted on here for AGES. WE're all still here, still doing well.

DS3 now taking the breast again - but he's mixed feeding probably 70/30 bottle/breast - I'm happy with that now - and am merrily expressing as much as I can so if I decided to stop feeding him completely/my milk dries up he can at least have one bottle a day of ebm for a couple of weeks.

DH ADORES DS3 - so much so that I often find myself mid-cuddle with DS3 only to have him whisked out of my arms by DH ,

DH and I getting on really well still (despite the tiredness - he's getting up about 2-3am to give him a bottle and I'm getting up around 5-5.30 to either bf/ff (whichever DS3 decides he wants LOL). AND guess what.................

2 days running he's leant over and given me a kiss - on the lips

Evening all, just scanned about a zillion posts trying to catch up on all the happenings.

Praying for you all, but won't try and list stuff cause I will no doubt forget someone!

Hannah is finally sleeping again, but not before I was verging on severe exhaustion and DH literally couldnt wake me up in the morning to take DD1 to school I felt soooo bad at the time, but now its probably the best thing that could have happened as he worked from home that day and I got more sleep etc and it gave me a break and I feel better for it! and I think he realised just how tired I was...

Life has been incredibly hectic but I thank God because it could have been worst! Don't want to rant, but please prayfor me to successfully sort out my childcare for Sept. I have been let down (rather late I think to attempt making new arrangements) and don't seem to be able to find anyone (at the moment) to look after my children.

Haven't had time to think about the weekend away... Must come up with 3 ideas by the time of Dh's next visit...To be honest I just feel exhausted and could do with staying home, but that wouldn't feel like a break, 'cause I would be tempted to clear out cupboards etc.

Hope you all are doing well. Will come back on later, probably on the weekend and take up the prayerlist.

Just posting to say hello really, I'd like prayer that I continue to develop a more intimate relationship with God, I've been really enjoying reading my bible of late like being enthusiastic......I want it to continue! The church I go to is currently pastorless and it's really hard going at times a very nice middle class one but lacking in annointing of the holy spirit and I struggle with it as I come from a very different church background.

Cargirl - Fab news reading 'the bible' well done you, I pray for your local to have a regular priest SOON, I know how that feels, we were without for 18 months, doesn't make for consistant faith!

BORiA - Shame you and tasja don't live close, she's desparate for her childminding business to bloom!

Weirdbird - praise the lord for sleep!!!!! I had 3 years of 4 hours sleep per night (with the twins) before I had a near breakdown last winter, had fab help with the HV, Community Nursery Nurse + Home Start! so good luck getting 'MORE' sleep {{{{{hugs}}}}}

Roseylea - We've yet to get wet on our sports day next week, I pray the weather recovers a bit.
I toooooo don't understand MaryBS (DDads) riddle, I bet he's having a right laugh at us!

Well I went to a lovely eucharist service this morning. It was not at my church (and I'd never been there before), so I felt a bit nervous but took my courage in my hands (or something like that! ) and went anyway, and was so glad that I did.

ooo it gets better - I gave DH a kiss on the lips last night (no snogs yet - and no I can't believe I just wrote that onthe Christnas Prayer thread ) but it was accepted - and he gave me one this morning before he went to work (a kiss that is not a snog )

I've been under the weather today. Have been having cramping pains and diarrhoea, so didn't go to work today. Spent most of the afternoon sleeping. Have got up now, although I'm still tired, but I won't sleep tonight otherwise... still cramping though

RL glad you had a good time at that other church. Glad I'm not the only nutter who enjoys midweek Eucharists! . Ours is always v. personal with an altar from the side chapel moved into the nave, and chairs arranged around it, rather than sitting in the pews with the vicar half a mile away (our church is a good size!). There's usually about 12 people there, so very "last supperish" . I don't get to go v. often because of when it is.

Cargirl - prayer is a GREAT way to get to know God more personally. I've become a great believer in "praying for everything" (well except for things like what should I have on my toast). For me this has sustained me through a difficult transitional period, and now I truly DO feel closer to Him. I know full well I'll never be completely there, but hey, why should that stop me from trying? . It must be hard not having a pastor, but you never know, the next one might be the one who points the church in the same spiritual direction you're going in . Good luck and God bless.

Our church has a 'lady chapel' which accomodates about 20 members of the congregation and I forgot they do do mid-week services cause mi ddad goes every thursday am, I'm a 'clodsy'

DS has calmed down, thank the lord! still havent a clue what that was all about, it just wasn't very pleasant for the twins to witness, that side of older siblings always worry me.

What seems acceptable behaviour for an 11yo isn't always ok for a toddler specially "thats stupid" or even worse! I wish thats all ds1 said though. I know he is hormonal atm

CC - fab 'Shrek' glad ds enjoyed it and was well behaved, I bet his little eyes were popping out of his head!! my ds1 was 3 when he went to his first pantomime, he was fine!

Right off to finish tidying up, shame on it, my friend even helped me today as twins were being extra naughty, to the point of as I was tidying 1 room they were wrecking another, so I put them outside and they stripped off and rolled in the mud, then my friend had to bath them! I'm sure they are getting worse [grrrrrrr]

Sorry that was a bit me me me! just had a bad day!!!!!

All ok in DippyLand - just hectic as I've already said. I am at the "nasty tickly throat" stage of my cold, lots of horrid coughing fits - yuk! Hoping it is nearly over now ......

The latest on Adam is that he has been moving around his room & playing cards!! He is communicating and will be having his traceostomy (sp??) removed soon to make talking a lot easier .... So PRAISE GOD & keep praying ....... .......
