Summary for last week .....

CaptainCaveman - DS has had nasty bug, much better now - Praise God! Continued prayers for DSis who has been sacked from her job & has gone to live with parents. CC has a horrid "feeling" about her sis. Prayers of protection for her & her DD. Prayers for A & J at her church - lady has just come out of surgery for cancer. Prayers for completion of CC's assignment; & prayers for her friend & her DC's who are currently living in a Hotel, looking for new accommodation following the terrible floods "Up North".

Rosey - Feeling weary & low. Praying DH finds a fantastic "child friendly" job asap & that he would find an excellent bereavement counsellor to help him with 'issues'. Praying for DS with his Pox & for DD's excema, esp as the nurse from the hospital approaches the school about them regularly creaming her...

BedofRosesitAin't - Feeling closer to God. Prayers that she and her DH wold have an amazingly Blessed time as they go away (sans DCs ) this month.

Tasja - Welcome! Prayers that her child minding business would flourish asap.

Mars - Prayers for lady she is currently "Doula-ing" for - that the baby would come soon in a quick & smooth sort of way!!

bobsmum - Prayers that church leader Neil would find peace & rest AND SLOW DOWN!! Prayers for her & her DH as they are extremely busy atm. Continued prayers for DH's job & for her singer / songwriter friend Yvonne to be a huge success in getting her beautiful voice / God's word across!

harriseys - Prayers for protection as they go to spend family holiday time on Harris.

PandaG - Prayers for friend's DD who is in hospital with an inexplicable rash.

CaptainDippy - Prayers for Adam who is starting to move & respond now.

Lots of prayers, love & support for NASWM

Prayers for victims of the floods in the north of the UK and for Alan, the BBC correspondent who has been taken hostage.

Oh my word - I've just looked at the 5 day weather forecast and would you believe it....they reckon it will be sunny on saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hia CC, as you can see, I'm having a lazy day getting up to nothing! no housework! no child care! (bare minimum)

Saying that off to work in 20mins so better go and get mi uniform on and make-up on!

Thanks so much for your prayers folks, friend's DD has a diagnosis, and has been given some antibodies so is a bit perkier. Yesterday and last night were particularly long and draining for her parents though, so prayers for them would be great too.

Please could our family have a prayer request, dneph taken into City Hospital, his Kidneys are leaking Urine, he's very poorly, his tablets are making him very sick and he's all puffed up,

Supposed to be a long recovery with bouts of it returning, poor little thing he's just turned 5 and we love him sooo much, please god take care of him in hospital!

Prayers for him Sooz, poor wee mite, may the Lord speed his recovery.

Morning! DD3 is being an "ickle pickle"! Think she's gone down now (I hope...) We moved her into the spare room yesterday & I don't think she is best pleased .... slept a lot better last night though - 5am wake up call is still killing me though.....

It is bright & sunny here ... hoping it stays that way as I'm seeing a friend I haven't seen in aaaaggggeeees & we're hoping to go to the Mini Railway .....

Panda - - that your friend's DD has a diagnosis now & is looking / feeling brighter after having the anti-bodies - praying for her full recovery. How are you & your brood? How's Worz doing?? And snuffy??

nephron something? Medical name for kidneys is nephron.
could be nephronitis? (simple terms, itis = inflammation) so inflammation of the kidneys?

sorry, I am just so worried, apparently he will be in hospital for a couple of weeks, I must go and visit!

lol, you could type 'leaky kidneys' into google? Or perhaps not, information on the internet is uncensored so might give you something horrible as a result!!

Praying for your dnephew tho, is he scared?

Thank you both for your support. I had already typed in 'leaky kidneys' didn't get very far, so perhaps that was meant to be! sounds horrible anyway whatever it is! I'm sure he'll be ok, just feel for him! aw!!!!

Hi CD! {waves}

I am home because I'd been in work 30 mins - the school calls. DS is rolling around on floor holding his tummy/head. Won't tell them whats wrong, won't talk to them. (he never does! Why???). I set off for home, and phone a friend in the meantime to go and collect him. She gets there - he's fine, chats to her, within a minute he's out of "sorry for himself" mode, and is chatting away!

So I thought, whats the point in going back to work? So I haven't. Good excuse to go to the lunchtime Eucharist and lunch!

(tbh I'm a bit worried about his behaviour at school... always seems to want to hide from them, won't speak up when something's wrong)

Well I used to behave like that & I am not on he austic spectrum ......

Just wanted to say I had a lovely extended lunch... Eucharist, followed by food with good fellowship AND no children to disrupt things (not that I'd be without them, but its nice to relax without them occasionally).

AND I've gone and been spontaneous. I've arranged for a date with my DH. We can't afford it, but I'm sure we'll have a lovely evening. Its a wine tasting, followed by 3 course meal with wine selected for us, at our favourite restaurant. I only got the email about it today (its on 17th) and they're already getting close to being fully booked! . Its a popular place...

Mary - enjoy your dinner! sounds fab! wish DH and I could go out sometime! Impossible with DD!

Just dropping in to say hi to everyone. I've been quiet. There's something wrong with my PC - keeps hanging. And I'm so busy. Friends from London coming to spend the weekend with us. Looking forward to it. Just busy cleaning, painting the house! and I have a terrible cough! Meds don't work!

Still no news for the childminding business - very quiet.

Praying for all of you. Will see when I can pop in again.
