Daily Gratitude 2019

A peaceful and welcoming place to pause, breathe, take stock and celebrate the small things that go well for us each day.

Everyone is welcome, whether you have faith or not. Whether you post every day or just once. Nothing matters here but that we all have something for which we are thankful.

That;s a good approach to the line dried washing, Less - not ten minutes ago I was bemoaning the fact that there are so few dry days at present for laundry purposes. I'll celebrate the few good ones we get instead of complaining about the damp ones!

The ability to have open conversations with my DCs and one or two other family members
A warm and cosy house (and the wherewithal to keep it so)

Lessstressedhemum · 28/10/2019 08:16

Welcome, 7, and congratulations on your beautiful babyFlowers

Just now, I am grateful that my cat has come home .

I was up half the night worrying Hmm because he didn't come home last night. It's not like him at all, especially when it's cold or wet. I was convinced something had happened to him.

What a lovely thread, I’ve often ‘seen it’ on Active but never stopped to get involved, so now I will. I have so much to be grateful for;

A warm & comfortable home
Both my parents still alive and in (fairly) good health - I am over 60 myself Grin
A job I love, I genuinely look forward to going to work
A teenage DS happily settled in at uni
A wide group of friends
Lots of interesting and valued volunteering opportunities to be involved with
A strong faith

And I am grateful that generally I do have a positive attitude towards life, not everything is easy but I am mostly a ‘half glass full person’ Smile.

Lessstressedhemum · 30/10/2019 09:50

Modern medicine is wonderful, isn't it? So many issues that people used to suffer are now treated as a matter of course. I hope your friend's recovery is a speedy one. For my part ...
