Thanks for answering.

I am not sure why you suggest that we are exempt from frailties, bad motives, feelings of anger, revenge. Suggest? I'm trying to get a clear picture.

I imagine some witches do curse people- I am surprised that you are surprised. I'm not surprised.

speakout · 09/09/2018 16:53

Vitalogy

You were asking if witches are a nasty bunch.

And my answer was- no more or less than the average human.

What "clearer picture" do you need?

You were asking if witches are a nasty bunch. Was I.

And my answer was- no more or less than the average human Yes, thank you for the confirmation.

What "clearer picture" do you need? Nothing more needed. As you were.

speakout · 09/09/2018 17:05

Nothing more needed. As you were.

No need to be rude.

ANYWAY what has everyone been up to today?

New moon tonight. I’m going to empty my salt water bowl and replace it. If I have time tonight I’m also going to have a think about its waning energy and what I can focus on.

ThatsNotEvenAWord · 09/09/2018 17:06

Obviously I meant waxing

speakout · 09/09/2018 17:08

Well I'm a happy little witch this afternoon!

After a morning of repairs and cleaning I treated myself to a walk on the beach and picked up a nice collection of raw quartz - they'll be perfect for the cottage protection work I'm planning for tonight's new moon working.

I also picked up a huge chunk of quartz in a size and shape I've been hunting down for years! It's just perfect. I need to add some sigils when I get home and then dedicate it to its purpose Smile Smile Smile

gee I’m so sorry about your loss. I hope in time you will look back on the many years you had together and smile, but you don’t need to worry about being ‘brave’ right now.

Warm wishes to everyone here this evening. Seems more important than ever to maintain the light and love in this special place today.x

speakout · 09/09/2018 18:07

Elphame

Vitalogy

I believe 2 of the comments you quoted are mine, so I'll reply but do not intend to enter into any sort of discussion on What Witches or Pagans or Wiccans or Bus Drivers or Solicitors or Mechanics or IT Tech Support Staff or Barbers Shop Choirs do or don't do as it's pointless. Everyone has their own opinion, everyone is responsible for their own actions.

Firstly, Witchcraft 101 Halloween Smile You and you alone are responsible for your own actions and their consequences Halloween Smile

That's the lesson that person is learning now. If someone jumps in to help him at the first signs of his distress, he won't learn the lesson which is 'Don't mess around with things you don't understand because there may be consequences.'

In his case, after ignoring a warning then deliberately doing something he was told not to i.e. behaving like a 3 year old, his own fear is getting the better of him, but be that as it may, that will help him to learn that lesson.
I did L (Crone Cackle) OL when I read of his situation. If that makes me seem wicked in anyone's opinion, I really don't care Halloween Grin

Is this part of witchcraft or just certain peoples views?
See above.

And this 'uncrossing' to remove a curse is it? Who put these curses on in the first place? Do witches curse people?
Again, see above.

Elphame · 09/09/2018 18:41

I'm usually about 25 miles from Weston super Mud but I'm currently on the edge of Snowdonia - love it up here and I'd like to make it permanent.

MidnightVelvetthe7th · 09/09/2018 18:42

Oh Gee I'm so sorry for the loss of your boy. Hugs to you xx

queenrollo hope you're OK

I hope everyone else has had a good day, I'm very envious of those of you who live near the sea, lovely stones Elphame . I'm doing a home blessing tonight as I lost my grandmother a couple of months ago & tomorrow her house passes to the new people who bought it so going to try to keep her happy house in my thoughts as well.

I don't mind people questioning witchcraft, its obviously very misunderstood but why do people pass by the belief systems that actually mean harm to people such as Satanism in all it's forms. Is it because its a sect of Christianity that's it's ignored on the hunt to find evil in witchcraft instead?

Vitalogy · 09/09/2018 18:54

That's the lesson that person is learning now. If someone jumps in to help him at the first signs of his distress, he won't learn the lesson Maybe just leave the lad alone.

'Don't mess around with things you don't understand because there may be consequences.' Yes quite.

speakout · 09/09/2018 19:05

Gee- I have lit a candle for you and your loss tonight.

Love is so bittersweet. Ultimately love is more important than loss.

But I know you have pain. I hope you will sleep well.

OP posts:
Elphame · 09/09/2018 19:14

Maybe just leave the lad alone The lad has given himself a severe fright. Surely it's kinder to help him?

Or are witches not supposed to be compassionate towards those who have got themselves into trouble through their own actions?
