Praying for your attendance tomorrow NQGU.

Thanks for your prayers, keep em comin'! Not feeling too bad atm, not sure what was wrong with me today, just couldn't shake myself out of it. I can't get little madeleine out of my head, her poor poor family, I'm sure thats partly why I feel so stressed! Sounds stupid because they are total strangers. Ds and I just said a prayer for her as he went to bed.

Praying today was just a blip, who knows, maybe some throw back after 8 weeks off the meds? I still have some tabs left and although not planning to need them again, will take them on holiday with us - can't think of anything worse than being stuck in Portugal for 2 weeks having panic attacks and not being able to do anything/take anything!!

Anyway, stop being selfish....
FA praying for your pain to ease and for you to get some relief v soon.
SueBaroo, praying for you and pnd - I had AND which was bad enough. God will hold you in his arms, and even if you're not sure of your faith we are so pleased you came to our fellowship group - we ROCK at praying and caring.

Ahh moment - ds saying his prayers - I asked him to tell God what he liked best at the zoo and thank God for it:
"Thankyou God for the elephants, who made the elephants mummy?"
"God did"
"who made the giraffes mummy?"
"God did"
"Who made all the animals?"
"God did, so we could share the earth with them"
"Oh, I see. Thank YOu God"

(wiping teary eye emoticon)

CaptainCaveman · 07/05/2007 21:28

NQGU, my dsis is doing better but still drinking a bottle of wine per day. better than 2 bottles though so thats good.
She is also managing to pick her dd up from nursery most days which is also brill. And, she says her finances are almost sorted now that she is claiming the benefits she's entitled to.
Thank You God for drawing me to such a wonderful caring group of mners! and thank You all for praying for us

mumtogusnalbie · 07/05/2007 21:34

Well - just off to bed now but thought I would catch up first.

I have another "ahhhh" moment too albeit completely random!!

Every day we have to pass over a bridge which is currently a temporary one and a new one is being built next to it. The boys like to wave at the workmen to see if they wave back, well this morning as it was a BH, there were no workmen. The conversation went something like this;

me - "theres no workmen today boys because it is a bank holiday and they all have the day off"
DS1 - "well there socks will be wet"
me - "why will there socks be wet?"
DS1 - "because they will have left them hanging out"
me - "why would they have left them out in the rain?"
DS1 - "because they have been doing handstands of course"

Well of course, why else?!!!!!!

I love my kids - THANKYOU GOD!!!!

Goodnight everyone and God Bless

mumtogusnalbie · 07/05/2007 21:35

oops - of course I know that it should really read 'their' and not 'there' - maybe I need to get to bed!!!

notsofarnow · 07/05/2007 21:41

CaptainDippy · 07/05/2007 21:49

Awww, bless all your lovely little ones - they do say the funniest things, don't they!!? Today my DH said to DD1: "You have rage issues." ..... Her reply!!? "No, I am wearing my sandles." LOL!

Thanks for your kind words everyone. means a lot.

CaptainCaveman · 08/05/2007 07:43

Just a quick morning from me...would appreciate your prayers as feeling wobbly again this morning. Worried about being off on thursday (ds' bday) and what to do if I feel panicky then....crazy I know, but panic attacks always make me feel anxious about 'unstructured' time.
Trying to find a positive about current feelings...bikini will fit due to weight loss

Happy days everyone, God Bless you all

roseylea · 08/05/2007 08:00

Just a quick hello to say I'm reading and praying for you all.

mumtogusnalbie · 08/05/2007 08:29

morning CC - praying for you and your panic attacks. Do you deal with them without any medical intervention? I have diazapam on repeat prescription which I take on an 'as needed' basis. Just knowing that I have them in my bag at all times helps to give me confidence. Sometimes I take one if I am approaching a situation that I know is likely to trigger a panic attack as a sort of preventative measure but most of the time I just take them to calm me down when I am in a full blown panic.
I really do hope that enjoy your holiday and am sure that you will look great in your bikini!!
I think you are really brave to go on holiday - I haven't been abroad for about 6 years and have only been on 'adventures' (I can't use the word holiday!) about 5 times in the last 6 years too - they have all been fairly local adventures!

God Bless everyone else - can't stop because I have just got to work.

P.S. - LOL at the sandals comment CD!!

CaptainDippy · 08/05/2007 11:15

One handed typing, DD3 is being a pickle!!

Praying lots CC - Thurs will be just fine honey and you'll have a super lovely day!! Still of you with the bikini - my tum isn't massive, but it is covered with a lot of very angry red stretchmarks!!!!!

DH's last day at home with his "Harem" Pray DH, P & I have a lovely a/n while the other 2 Sproglets are in nursery! Hoping the weather is going to improve .... ......

Morning CD. Morning all.

ZipadiSuzy · 08/05/2007 14:44

Hello everyone, we are very tired today, sore throats etc hope nothing too bad lurking in the Zipadi house!

CC - I pray with you for your panic attacks, hate them, I've come to the conclusion its mummies who suffer, you have my full sympathy, love lo's prayer last night, so cute!

CD - I remember washing pots with my DS1 when he was first born in a baby sling, little monkeys arn't they, (clever aswell)

MTGA - will have to take up 'hand stands' on BH sounds fun to me!

NSFN - like CC says its a big knot in our tummies making everyone feel anxious, contiunued prayers for safe return of little Madelaine how are 'you' atm

DutchOma · 08/05/2007 17:31

Just a quick update on Matthew. His parents took him back to the Chelsea and Westminster hospital today and were sent back home again because there was only a skeleton staff.
He had gained a little bit of weight but not a lot since he had been quite sick over the weekend and they had quite a tough time with him. They will need to bring him back again next week so we must pray he stops being sick and puts on a bit more weight.
We are going away for a week from Thursday, I may have internet access where we are going.
Best blessings to all

CaptainDippy · 08/05/2007 19:25

Thank you for the update - continuing to pray.

CaptainCaveman · 08/05/2007 19:38

You really are all so kind . Had a rough morning and ok afternoon, feel up and down really. Feel positive and then feel like my stomach lurches and slight negatives creep in.
I guess I partly feel scared knowing how bad I have felt before with panicking. Also, only being off meds for 8 weeks makes me wonder if I can stay off them. However, if I need to take meds thats fine too coz I'd rather that than live with misery of panic/anxiety all the time. Who knows!?

Will get back to my lovely gp if still feeling like this on thursday - she is so lovely and will undoubtedly put my mind at ease too.

Your prayers are very very much appreciated, thank you.

How's everyone else doing?
CD when is your dd2 bday?
MTGAA - I was on Citalopram until 8 weeks ago, weaned off it with minimal symptoms. Took prozac for 10 days before starting the citalopram but it nearly sent me insane (it can worsen panic/anxiety and BOY it did)

fannyannie · 08/05/2007 19:41

thanks for your prayers last night - I certainly had a more comfortable night......on the sofa - got comfortable under the blanket watching the snooker and decided rather than risk getting up, getting changed and going upstairs to the single bed in the DS's room.......and not being able to get comfortable again I'd just sleep where I was (clothes on) and it wasn't too bad.

Been a bit uncomfortable today - but I'm about to go and get DS2 ready for bed (DS1 already there) and run myself a bath - been meaning to try that yummy looking bubble bath that DH bought me last month and tonight feels like the 'right' night.

CaptainCaveman · 08/05/2007 20:49

Good for you fa! Glad you had a comfy night. Continuing to pray for your continued comfort - how long now til lo arrives (ish!)?

CaptainCaveman · 08/05/2007 20:51

Cd and mtgaa - lol at your little ones convos...aren't they just the cutest things! Yay, Praise God for all our fantastic children

fannyannie · 08/05/2007 21:06

ooo - that was a lovely bath - and I tell you what - once I've finished this bottle of bubble bath (which probably won't be for a while as I tend to take showers........baths happen about once every couple of months LOL) I'll send DH to buy some more 'recommended' bubble bath as it was divine .

I'm 36 weeks today - so anytime in the next 6 weeks..........but DS1 my waters broke 13 days early and he was born 12 days before my DD, and DS2 my waters broke 7 days early - was induced a few days later and he arrived 2 days before DD...........so who knows - could be as little as 2 weeks if he follows DS1's lead !

mumtogusnalbie · 08/05/2007 21:28

FA - how confusing because i translated DD as 'darling daughter' so then I thought you had had twins twice - it took me a while to realise you meant due date!!

I really would be dangerous with a brain!!

mufti · 08/05/2007 22:00

fannyannie - there was i thinking you had a daughter you had forgotten to mention

mufti · 08/05/2007 22:09

or two even!
