Thank you all for your contributions to my threads so far..

now, i have the chap from the spiritualist church coming over next Monday, to cleanse the house

anyone had this sort of thing done? can you tell me what to expect?

well, all was well until about 10 minutes ago! thought he had gone

just got DD up from her nap, and she was pointing and saying , 'what dis? ' and pointing, and waving

and the room was cold, my feet felt cold, and is double glazed and put my hand by the window and not a draft to be felt....

shit, all freaked out again !

residual is when the ghost appears at the same time, does the same thing and doesn't seem to notice you.

I would be very freaked out by seeing or feeling anything like that. I do think you're very brave in dealing with it even though it's a little boy ghost, I would be very scared. Hope he can find peace soon

Lulu - does princess diva pants have the gift as well - you sound sooooo calm - i would be freaking out! How do you feel right now - this is a friendly ghost (like casper non?) - i would speak to the rabbi as well - no harm - Juadaism is a very spiritual religion after all

yars, dad is trying to track down our new rabbi...not started yet !

am calm because have no option to be anything else

when i mustered up the courage to go back up, had to go for a wee and get my wrap from DD;s wardrobe, and the room felt different

warmer and jsut different

so odd

am sat in the kitchen , alone as DH out, and kids un bed, and am not freaked out

hi lulu! maybe he realised that he had frightened you and backed off. i agree with loopylou, it is good that your dd is waving not screaming. i hope things go ok on monday. fm x

thanks !!! i know there has been someone in DDs room before, when i used to feed her in the night, there was definitely a presence, always at the 2 am feed !!

anyhoo, waving not screaming is good, jsut seemed so bold of him!!

hi lulu, was just catching up on the thread and i was thinking, i wonder if the ghost could be looking out for your daughter? maybe he is SUPPOSED to be there?? from what u say he does seem to be very drawn to her...just a thought anyway

maybe so, but is it 'healthy' for a living child to have a ghost friend? i am not entirely comfortable with this, and if she can see the boy, what else can she see? i am just not sure this is something i want to encourage....

well it doesnt seem to be doing her any harm (from what u say) it could be a few things, 1. could be that your daughter is a sensitive in which case there isnt much u can do to stop her seeing things. 2. could be that there is a random ghost in your house that has taking a liking to your daughter, this is quite common as children are so innocent and dont really have a perception on whats "normal" and whats not, so they find it easier to communicate with children. 3. i doubt this very much but worth mentioning, EVERYBODY has a spirit guide but normally they dont show themselves and if they do it would be only to the person they are guiding and if i remember rightly your dh has also seen your ghost? 4. it could be a passed over member of your family that is now looking over your daughter. i do feel like there is a link with your daughter because u mentioned that u always felt a presence when u went to feed her. if iw as u i would try asking the spirit what he wants, please try not to be scared as my very wise nan said, "its the living u should be afraid of, not the dead"
