I wish I could juggle. Or fly. I can predict the future. I'm a right Cassandra. I am not intimidated. Coming to think of it, I don't get intimidated. Maybe that's my super power.

countrygirl55 · 06/04/2017 20:08

Does your not getting past physics explain your appalling grammar and punctuation?

remainderman · 06/04/2017 20:29

Did the pedophile priests teach morals too the children they raped and abused

OP posts:
LivingForHim · 06/04/2017 20:32

Those pedophile priests clearly weren't Christian as the bible doesn't teach men to abuse children.

Deadsouls · 06/04/2017 20:35

That's what Christopher Hitchens said: 'religion poisons everything'

Deadsouls · 06/04/2017 20:37

What's this all about then this thread?

Deadsouls · 06/04/2017 20:39

I need to ask someone knowledgeable, if someone says they are a Zionist, that's an ideology isn't it? Is it connected to the Jewish faith? Can you be an atheist Zionist?

LordScuttlebutt · 06/04/2017 20:39

Is this someone's homework/essay?

Deadsouls · 06/04/2017 20:42

Do you mean the OP or my Zionist question?

LordScuttlebutt · 06/04/2017 20:43

The OP.

Deadsouls · 06/04/2017 20:45

It is a bizarre thread

DioneTheDiabolist · 06/04/2017 20:54

Yes, you can be an atheist Zionist Dead.

picklemepopcorn · 06/04/2017 20:57

Greenheart, you missed 'sky fairy' and 'angry old man in the sky'.

This thread is short of cake. Maybe that would make it more palatable. Certainly it's currently dry and pointless.

thegreenheartofmanyroundabouts · 06/04/2017 21:02

Cake - definitely. Have a sliceCake with a glass of Wineor maybe Brew.

picklemepopcorn · 06/04/2017 21:08

Mmm, fancying some lemon drizzle...

picklemepopcorn · 06/04/2017 21:08

Sorry, that was rude! Thank you, Greenheart, some for you too...CakeCake. I'll make lemon drizzle tomorrow.

DioneTheDiabolist · 06/04/2017 21:14

Mind religion doesn't poison that cake or tea.Shock Not that I'll be partaking, I have pregnancy nausea and it's so bad that I'm not even drinking tea.Sad

LordScuttlebutt · 06/04/2017 21:14

I eat cakes religiously. Does that count?

picklemepopcorn · 06/04/2017 21:29

I eat cake at church, what about that? That's gotta be ok, surely...

ErrolTheDragon · 06/04/2017 22:35

Oh, congratulations Dione - on the pregnancy not the nausea obv. I found ginger biscuits helpful.

Religions may be better than nothing for those who need to get their morality from an external source. But they're not what makes good people good, nor bad people bad.

And it has to be said, churches are often an excellent source of cakes.

BroomstickOfLove · 06/04/2017 23:02

I turned down cake at church this morning, but that was because it was 10am and I hadn't had any breakfast, and not because the cake had been poisoned by religion.

Deadsouls · 06/04/2017 23:07

Thank you dione

I don't get the point of this thread. OP posts a quote from Christopher Hitchen's 'God is not Great' and then....what? Hmmm what's it all about
