What a lovely idea for a thread...

I'm a very lucky mummy to a beautiful 9 week old DD...

Grateful for this thread to remind me to pause and breath it all in once in a while and enjoy the now...

I'm really quite blown away too at how a little baby can bond people together, my mum and I are a great team and enjoying a whole new type of closeness and I e found kind people in my community - as a lone parent these things mean the world really..

The beautiful countryside outside my train window, drenched in rain.
A chance to read and pause and rest.
My lovely DP who is a brilliant mum and who I have abandoned this weekend with all 3 DC, the dog, and our AP and her DM. Phew. Lucky me.

Gosh I hope I have been absent a while because I haven't had to force myself to think of things to be grateful for rather than because I've stopped being thankful!

Today's thanks are for friends and family and for the knowledge that although I could survive alone I don't have to.
