There's a kitten in my house!

It's not mine. I've knocked all the neighbours and left notes through those that aren't in letter boxes. It looks well cared for but doesn't have a collar. We're just hanging out until someone comes and knocks for it.

It’s mine Grin honest

Bel04 · 18/07/2018 18:54

You can give it cooked meat and water but no milk or cheese as many cats are lactose intolerant. X

This is how you get a kitten. Grin

We need a picture!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 18/07/2018 18:57

You need to post a photo so that we can coo over the kitty help find its owner...

This is one of my day dreams!! If the kitten could be accompanied by a dwarf lop eared bunny, I’d be in heaven :)

RagamuffinCat · 18/07/2018 19:01

I wish this would happen to me! The closest I get is next door's cat coming in, but he has a home already sadly...

Beaverhausen · 18/07/2018 19:01

Photo!

AveABanana · 18/07/2018 19:06

I'll have it

TitsalinaBumSquash · 18/07/2018 19:09

We've located who's it is but they're not in. It jumped from a very high second storey window and one of the other neighbours says it spends its days desperate to get out. It's very purr-ey and keeps sucking my hair. Confused

What a cutiepie!!!!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 18/07/2018 21:56

The owners aren't in and it won't stop yowling, I'm not sure what to do, it's keeping the kids awake.

I'll look after it for youSmile leave a note with the owner, it will go to sleep eventually. Put down old papers for it to wee on, give it water and a bit of food.

ThisIsHistory · 18/07/2018 22:37

Aww, what a lovely face. Gorgeous!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 19/07/2018 06:31

He's still here. I'm cross about the fact that his owners have got a small kitten and left it at home day and night with not a care on the world.
It's yowled all night and eaten huge amount of the kitten food that DH got from Tesco last night.
I have to work all day today so I'm not sure what to do if they're not back in time.

If they are not back in time, contact Cats Protection and see what they suggest but kitty is to young to be let out, probably why they kept it in.

But very irresponsible owners, if they do not collect the kitten in 24hrs then they obviously do not want it, I would suggest contacting the RSPCA and Cats Protection, although do not bother with RSPCA they might PTS unfortunately.

If he is clingy and from what you describe he was taken from his mother far too young definately under 8 weeks when he was taken away from mommy. People think that when kittens start eating food they do not need their mothers but unfortunately 12 weeks is a healthy time to start separating them from their mommy.

Hope there is a happy solution.

Looks like you now have a dog and a cat.

dingit · 19/07/2018 06:43

Watching this thread to see if you have a new family member Grin

Herja · 19/07/2018 06:48

Beaverhausen mine was stipidly clingy and didn't leave his mother until 14 weeks... He just really likes people and at almost 2 now still is convinced he's a small child not a cat.

OP good luck with him! It seems you may have two pets now.

Alwayscommuting · 19/07/2018 07:11

She looks just like one of mine! We got her at 10 months and she behaved similarly. I would echo cats protection as they might also have more authority when the owners collect about why they shouldn't have left him/her? Also here's a picture of my black and white baby because they look pretty similar!
