A sturdy, proper doggy name for a chocolate lab puppy, please.

we are getting him in a few weeks - any ideas?
i like real solid names as this little fella is going to be big and chunky when he grows up!
i'm not really keen on the "chocolate" names like "cadbury" etc but prefer scottish/celtic names like hamish, brodie, angus for example.
i also like the idea of a possibly foreign word that refers to his colour, like "bruno".
any suggestions welcome!!

we had a black lab called Jake. he was a big starapping fella and it suited him well. He is no longer with us alas

This is what dd was known as in the womb (we didn't know she was a dd). Would have loved to have used it if she'd been a ds but it wouldn't have gone with our surname so I said I'd call a dog it !

I also know one called Bourneville, one called Minstrel and one called Cocoa.
