A question for those who actually like dogs.

What are your favourite breeds?

Love Bulldogs, Dachsunds, Retrieverrs, Labradors, Spaniels.....cocker, springer but especially clumber.

Would secretly love a little lap dog to pick up and take everywhere with me.

I love them all actually :)

I've never had a dog but I was brought up spending most of my childhood with my Grandparents dogs, mostly corgis .

One day I will have a big garden and a Newfoundland and a Schnauzer running riot out there.

I love the way Afghans look so languid and decadent. I went to Crufts a few years ago and they have all the various dog breeds in pens for you to see (and stroke! ). The Afghan pen was all draped in gorgeous exotic fabrics and the dogs were all lying on huge harem style cushions. They looked fantastic.

Love 'em all, but "my" breed is the German Shepherd. They are different from any other breed I've owned or handled.

I've a soft spot too for the personality of Staffies and sympathy for the way they are viewed and treated all too often.

I really dislike breed prejudice, negative associations with certain breeds are generally wrong and based on ignorance.

Aww thanks. The worse for wear one is the little 'un in the green dress, blue checked shirt, furry coat and sitting in the drawer (she's still weird tho').

No lasting problems thank god, but she is a hooligan in the making!
