🍀 As it's St Patrick's Day today, can I ask you to spare 5 minutes for Noah Donahoe and his mummy? (TW)

Happy St Patrick's Day, everyone ☘

If you're not already aware of lovely Noah and what happened to him, here is a current thread (TW) over in Craicnet:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/craicnet/3951182-Noah-Donohoe

Whether you read that thread or not, please will you help his mummy in her quest for justice for Noah - and the answers she needs and deserves - by signing this petition and, if you can, then sharing it? It already has over 300k signatures, but it would be lovely if we can get it up to 500k:

Thank you 🍀

We really need a title preview/edit. Sincere apologies, I've just noticed that I've got my o's and my a's mixed up in the title: Donohoe.

Thanks for sharing this @TheRealMrsMac I signed over on Facebook. That poor woman, she definitely deserves to know what happened to him.

ImaniMumsnet · 17/03/2022 18:05

Hi there OP,

Thanks for sharing this important cause. We are going to move this over to the petitions board.

KimMumsnet · 17/03/2022 18:07

Hello, OP. We're moving your thread to our Petitions and Activism board now.

TheRealMrsMac · 17/03/2022 18:25

That's so disappointing @KimMumsnet and @ImaniMumsnet - it won't get the traffic over there. Especially given some of the threads we get in AIBU (!) - surely it could have stayed put, even if just for today?

Signed and shared.

@KimMumsnet agree with the OP though a few hours on AIBU for traffic wouldn't have hurt.

himyname · 17/03/2022 20:52

Signed. I hope the family get the answers they deserve for Noah.

Vitnery · 17/03/2022 21:19

Shame it couldn't have stayed on AIBU for the evening crowd

Lurking9to5 · 17/03/2022 21:21

That's awful. I hope his mum gets answers.

Lurking9to5 · 17/03/2022 21:22

I'm in the R of Ireland, can I sign it?
Sure I'll try.

TheUsualShitshow · 17/03/2022 22:05

It's a shame to move the thread but I see why they can't make exceptions.

Hopefully this comment will bump the thread a bit.

I do think it was a mistake to move the thread into a backwater. It's about one much loved and tragically lost boy and his mum, not a broad campaigning issue. Lots of threads have links to petitions on them and stay on the main boards.

Thanks to pps for posts and bumps - all very welcome.
