🍀 As it's St Patrick's Day today, can I ask you to spare 5 minutes for Noah Donahoe and his mummy? (TW)

Happy St Patrick's Day, everyone ☘

If you're not already aware of lovely Noah and what happened to him, here is a current thread (TW) over in Craicnet:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/craicnet/3951182-Noah-Donohoe

Whether you read that thread or not, please will you help his mummy in her quest for justice for Noah - and the answers she needs and deserves - by signing this petition and, if you can, then sharing it? It already has over 300k signatures, but it would be lovely if we can get it up to 500k:

Thank you 🍀

Bumping as this is so important. I signed already. My son was friends with this lovely boy, he misses him every day and it’s heartbreaking what has happened. The family deserve to get every last detail if they have any chance of finding peace.

foxlover47 · 17/03/2022 22:58

Signed , my heart breaks for him
And his mum , she shouldn't even have to fight to see the files she is his mum
And he every right to know what they include x so much love their way and I hope this helps get them both the justice they deserve so very much x

TheRealMrsMac · 17/03/2022 23:05

Thank you pps and I'm very sorry that your son has lost his friend, @BeetyAxe

Signed, thank you for sharing. What a terrible tragic thing

MoreCraicPlease · 17/03/2022 23:21

I read the UK and Irish papers and have barely heard of this case. I certainly didn't realise the circumstances and the situation about the closed files. I have signed.

TheRealMrsMac · 17/03/2022 23:37

Thank you pps.

Justice for Noah! There's a beautiful mural for him in Strabane. Sadly, like so much up here, it gets categorised into "Northern Ireland News" then immediately vanishes off the radar of national media in UK and ROI. So much goes on in the north and yet so little of it is seen anywhere else. And now it's happened again with the thread being moved.
Signed and bumped.

TheRealMrsMac · 18/03/2022 00:25

Let's keep Noah and his mum in hearts and minds. Thank you pp.

I have never heard about this, what a completely heartbreaking story and it's outrageous that they are applying for immunity and won't release the files. Signed.

Dear MNHQ,
I'd really appreciate it if this thread could be moved back to AIBU 'in the spirit of Mumsnet'.
Many thanks Flowers

I saw my name on the list so hopefully it counts as ''one'' more signature, despite not being in the UK. It does sound like a huge injustice that these files can be kept secret. So bumping for more signatures.

Yiayoula · 18/03/2022 09:03

Signed.
Please reconsider moving this thread, MNHQ - we’re talking about a boy and his Mum here.
Yours hopefully x

Just a reminder to confirm via the email Change will send you once you've signed, otherwise your signature won't count. Unfortunately lots of signatures are unintentionally lost this way. Thank you.

Unfortunately MNHQ have said they won't move the thread back into the light of a main board - sympathetic but 'no exceptions' - and so I am doing as they suggested and repeatedly bumping it instead. Any help with all this bumping gratefully received. Or just a post to say you've signed will do the same thing. Thank you.
