Posting here for traffic for heartbroken family

Apologies if this is a breach of etiquette, but could I ask that you take one minute to read the terrible plight of the Ashoori family on the petitions thread and sign/ share their petition. You may have heard about their story through the BBC or Channel 4 yesterday.

I'm afraid I have zero faith in Boris Johnson to do anything useful or helpful after his disastrous intervention of behalf of Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe, but I hope your friend gets home.

It's so awful for him nd his family, knowing that he is innocent of these trumped-up charges, but being powerless do anything about it.

He's not a young man either (same age as me) - the conditions in those hideous prisons will be dreadful for his health - I hope he is safely back with his family soon
