Awful thing to happen.
Sometimes these stories in the newspapers seem so abstract and remote from my everyday life, it's good to be directly reminded that they are someone's neighbours and friends .

Yes, Sew. We take our freedom for granted in the West. It is outrageous that this brutal regime can, in effect, unlawfully detain UK citizens in barbaric conditions without apparent consequence.
