Iggi - I'm so happy to hear your news. The drs are usually pretty rubbish about referring till you've gone past 3 so what brilliant news that they are doing it now.

I'm in knackered mode as DD is still illing (nothing awful - just clingy, moaning and bad sleep)...so no sleep for me either. I am rubbish without sleep.

It's a beautiful sunny, cold (nice cold - sort of 'wrap yourself in scarves' cold) day here...I'm going to dose DD up later and go to the park.

better, but not great. propped up in bed with a hot water bottle as am now freezing. fine if i dont move too much. feeling better for a bit of chocolate and to catch my breath. feeling lousy as it feels like my ear drum is going to burst (it wont as there is no visible sign of infection). Resting. taking it easy and trying to nap if can. steroids have kicked in though and its unlikely to happen. migraine meds have also kicked it. still feel shakey though. dreeding school run.

Hell's good to see you. Shame about dd still illing. Its that weird inbetween being properally ill and feeling off colour when they are the clingiest. Hope your walk and play in the park was successful.

Doc reckons there have been at least 10 asthmatics, from round here, who have ended up in hospital due to this virus this week. Would advise those of you who have asthma to make sure to are stocked up and know where you meds are and at the first hint of trouble start taking your poorly dose/routine. Its a nasty one. You dont feel particularly bad but it hits the breathing :(

ouch - you are right - it's when they are not properly ill but feeling a bit under the weather and very sorry for themselves that they are the worst!

Rather miraculously DD has actually had a proper nap too so I'm rather hoping she'll wake up better.

I hope shiney is managing to get some sleep. she must be feeling lousey. Those sofa bed things in hospitals are awful, you are constantly be disturbed and you are worrying about your poorly child. definetly not the best atmosphere for sleep. I feel so sorry that she had to go through it. it is one of the worst things as a parent. I really hope that they werent kept hanging about waiting for the specialist. And ted keeps improving.

I guess i must have been lucky last week in hospital, i had a z-bed which was full size single, and very comfy. I thought that was the norm - what are these sofa beds?

I have been busy cleaning this afternoon - my life is so exciting The cooker is sparkling, as is the kitchen, but i have found i have a woodlouse problem Could have something to do with the gap between the laminate and the skirting boards, as i cant figure out how to put the filler strips in Am going to put some sealer down for the interim, as there are bloody loads
