Did you order the maxi dress Trills for our meet? I am deliberating whether to buy a new dress for the evening mn do.. MrB is taking me to London around Feb time and a dress would come in handy for that occasion too.

I both ordered it and wore it to the housewarming party on Saturday It's quite casual really, I think the one I wore for June was more glam.

I am going to go shopping on Saturday into town. I have seen a few but not sure on sizing so rather than order 3 or 4 outfits in two sizes (MrB would have kittens looking at the credit card statement) I had better just go and try them on. I know the money gets refunded back onto the card.

My new colleague mentioned my new ring today. I saw her looking at it yesterday and I don't think she was quite sure if it was new or not. But then she clocked one of my emails to a friend/old insurance colleague who is looking into changing our buildings and contents insurance. He had emailed me and asked if I had any items of jewellery over a certain amount and I replied I had as MrB had bought me a new ring with a value of x.

She said in such a shrill/curt voice "is that a new ring". I just replied yes and then in the next breath she said "I had this custom made in August, DH said to me it is about time I had a new ring". Luckily the phone rang and it cut the conversation. She does my head in.

She also assumes I am there for the "pin money" like she is.. I dislike people that assume.

He must feel really poorly

oh bless him shiney, hope the night isnt too bad. When mini was in hospital last week, the only way i managed to get her in the bed on her own was to hold her hand through the bed rail. Was very uncomfy, but needs must when they are poorly. Look on the bright side - at least you dont have work to worry about

Jet, that was the first thing that sprung into my mind too that Shiney didn't have to worry about work , not flippant at all, just looking on the positive side.

Weather crap here - raining. Myself and the boys have the dentist tonight. Will be a mad rush as the last appt is at 4.30pm and Jack's bus gets in anywhere between 4.00pm and 4.10pm depending whether it was first in the queue or not at school.

Yoghurt and a banana for breakfast. I have been buying the Shape Zero ones which are surprisingly thick and creamy and very nice. Ham sandwich on a multi-seeded roll for lunch and then spag bol for tea (which I made last night).

I'm lying in bed using my phone under the duvet so that DS can't see the light or he'll demand I get out of bed & play trains & I'm too warm! Been up half the night with a bad stomach, maybe it was the slab of cake

I'm thinking soup or toasted sandwich for lunch & either spag bol or meatballs for dinner, either way it will be in the slow cooker

Shiney - its sounds very similar to something someone posted about the other day and what i seem to have. There is a nasty virus going around that is affecting breathing. It literally burns to breathe so you breathe as sahllow as possible because it hurts less but have to breath quicker to get enough oxygen. What the top part of his nake chest indentation when he breathes means he needs to go to a&e not docs as he is not getting enough oxygen.

Apart from said virus I have a migraine. Dosed up and going to catch up with last night's chat onwards when i have taken ds to school. looks like we might be on time for a change. But that is only cos i have been up since 6:30 in pain.

Hope you get ted sorted asap shiney. And that you can sleep a bit today.
