Tethersend.. Smile I [heart] you Grin x

I like sitting on stairs Trills Smile.

When I was pregnant I always daydreamed of sitting on the stairs talking to my LO's.. dunno why. I like opening the door on rainy days and sitting with a coffee.

No input on car talk. But if you get a bike I personally don't like disc brakes as they are very high maintenance and don't work if you get them greasy Biscuit.

I'd love to do a mini meet Smile. And secret Santa again SmileSmile

Sorry about Junior Jet.. that must be so frustrating.. could she learn simple meditation techniques? aimed at slightly younger children but this sort of thing?

Iggi lovey Smile xx Not hot on gossip here, don't like carrots, but like cake rather too much, and I'm not shagging anyoneHmmSad

I'm up at this goddamn awful time because my insomnia is badHmm

I like the notion of herding cats TrillsGrin One will eat your shoelaces, one will nuzzle your leg until you give them a tasty treat, one will claw your jumper to shreds and then one will eye you loftily whilst pretending to lick it's paws intently..

Well, I am going to lie down and pretend to sleep. nice chatting to y'al Grinx

Morning Shineon, and all,

How are we today? I've just fed the 4-mth-old, and he's just thrown it all back up on my bare chest.

I'm assuming most of you lot are easy-wipe, rather than having hairy chests?

wastingaway · 10/09/2010 07:44

Morning, you chatty Cathys!

Mittz, you are a poet, hope you got some sleep. Smile

Yay, Secret Santa! Grin Grin Grin

Do not like the look of this rain. Got to walk to new toddler group we're trying.

mittz · 10/09/2010 07:57

Grin at easy wipe chests BB..they are awful cute though aren't they? Smile How's it all going apart from the vomit?

''Shiney shiney bad times behind me

Shiney shiney sha-na-na-na.''

That's my offering if no one else is inspired

I slept a little Bella thank you.. the kind where I could have a good solid 8 hrs by the time it is to late.. I need the loving of a good man to wear me out!

Dismal here tooHmm

Hope today is good wastingSmile x

DS is in VILE pre teen mood since returning to school. It's being so cheerful that keeps me rising above it though Biscuit

Right.. that's me for the morning.. things to do and people to see.. catch y'all later Smile xx

Sounds like you need to wax BB.

Grey and dark here too. And I have a dentist appointment. I only go so I am on the list in case I have an emergency. Hope he just does the 2-minute poke-poke-poke-ok-you're-done. But then I resent the £16 (probably more by now).

DidEinsteinsMum · 10/09/2010 09:09

trills - Grin
mittz - ds was in provoking mood this morning. I yelled at him when i thought there would be few people. only to look up and dicover the corner shop staff were stood outside the shop talking to a copper. something interesting has happened as they are supposed to open at 6:30/7am.

Morning everyone else.
or should that be good night?

Lizzylou · 10/09/2010 09:18

Bleurgh at vomitty hairy chest, BB. I have experienced same (must book waxing appointment).

Hope dentist goes OK, Trills.

It is grey and drizzly here as well, but have my last day with DS2 who is being luscious and cuddly. Off to buy a Christening present for my new Goddaughter, bit stumped really as to what to buy.

DH stinks of garlic this morning, he went out for a pizza with some mates, by the stench of him this morning you'd have thought he'd ingested 3 bulbs of raw garlic.
Vom.
I pity his work colleagues today.

Alicetheinvisible · 10/09/2010 09:23

Morning Smile

BB - DS keeps filling my cleavage with puke, but yes it does wipe clean Grin

Bella - so glad everything turned out ok and they are going to keep an eye on things.

Yank and Iggi - i feel your pain, i seem to spend all my time clearing up poo and puke.

I might be up for a mini daytime meet up, can i suggest Newmarket Cambridge Grin

Yes to Secret Santa

Feel wobbly today, kind of like my feet and head do not belong to the same body, think the lack of sleep has got to me now.

Alicetheinvisible · 10/09/2010 09:26

Lizzy - John Lewis had some very sweet christening gift type things in the other week.

DidEinsteinsMum · 10/09/2010 09:27

i suspect it is that and burn out. take it easy today alice!!! there is a good reason why you are told to REST. You have the best excuse to do so.

Me i have migraine and want to escape out to play tonight so am just going back to bed.

BB - wear a t-shirt? or do the old towel/muslin over shoulder/chest thing? still cute though little people.

I have little people Envy but not puke envy.

must sleep.

Alicetheinvisible · 10/09/2010 09:32

Night DEM Smile have a couple of hours for me please

Lizzylou · 10/09/2010 09:36

Oh Alice, can you get any rest at all today?
I remember that feeling well.

Dem, hope your migraine gets better, they are buggers.

No John Lewis nearby, but am venturing into larger town so some other bigger shops there.

VinegarTits · 10/09/2010 10:44

Morning!

ive just eaten 2 chocolates from Greece

DreamsInBinary · 10/09/2010 11:02

Yum!

Am at home with just DD as DS is at school this morning. Am torn between realising just how much bloody easier it is and feeling wretched every time DD says "but Mummy, I want DS" Sad

LL - enjoy your morning of freedom. Hope DS2 has a fab time.

I've been keeping up (promise) but everything has slipped my mind, so will just say hello to all Smile

DreamsInBinary · 10/09/2010 11:03

Oh, oh, and welcome back Iggi GrinGrin

DreamsInBinary · 10/09/2010 11:07

I have just looked in my wardrobe and realised I have jack all casual clothing I want to wear. My jeans don't fit properly; my t-shirts are ancient and my knitwear is holey.

I went to Gap yesterday to make use of the 30% off voucher and left with a couple of (unecessary) work items and tights for DD Confused

Am totally uninspired.

Gap is blah for casual - everything was grey or beige last time I was in there. I like Dorothy Perkins, and New Look, and the Red Herring bit of Debenhams. (only bits of each, as DP can be mumsy and the other two can be teenagery if you pick the wrong things).

BelfastBloke · 10/09/2010 13:28

I'd forgotten how posh you are, Vinne-gar.

First class? I bet you don't shop at Dorothy Perkins.

TrillianAstra · 10/09/2010 13:38

I like their jeans. And their ballet pumps.

VinegarTits · 10/09/2010 13:43
