tis not good bella, thanks for asking. Tears every day, phone call after phone call school to me/ me to school. If i am honest, i think it is a bit self-fulfilling at the moment, she thinks she is going to struggle, therefore she does. And i feel like a complete failure cos i dont know how to deal with it - and very responsible for it, as (you may not know this....) i am quite an anxious person myself
They are now talking about moving her up a set again. The only reason they keep doing this is because the higher the set, the quieter the class, and junior needs the quiet. But, she then stresses over the level of the work - which she is capable of doing, if given extra time to understand it/ actually complete it. This was mentioned today, yet yesterday head of year suggested to me moving her down a complete pathway
I just dont think they know what to do with her. Still, the lady from CAMHS is lovely, and is insisting on arranging a meeting between various people, instead of just me and head of year. All i know is, if things go on like this, she will get to the point again where she refuses to go. And it pisses me off, as unlike before, she does actually want to go to school.
If anyone has any ideas, feel free to share
DEM - i really hope we do the secret santa this year, but maybe with a bigger budget?
