Afternoon.

Fucking hell Alice! Shock Grin
No don't sit down yet, or you won't get it all done!
Are you healing ok? There's a fine balance between overdoing it and vegging too much like I did.

And Crispy's been busy too...

Actually, I've been moderately productive today for me again.

Lizzylou · 08/09/2010 18:02

How are you Shiney?

And Mittz and Wasting!

bellavita · 08/09/2010 18:42

Hello

Alice, slow down woman!

Vinny, I bet your hair still looked great, did you sort the breakfast club out?

Sorry, I have read the posts, but am so Angry that I cannot remember who else put what.

DS1 has come home from school tonight and asked if I can wash his new coat - this is the only 2nd day he has worn it Hmm. A boy he went to primary with (an evil child who has picked on DS1 a few times - he was made to sit on his own in class as he was always naughty) pushed him into a ditch today at school, then jumped in himself and every time DS tried to get out, he just pulled him back in, despite DS's friends trying to help him. His coat is filthy. Last year on the bus, he pulled the hood on his coat so hard that the buttons attaching it came off an there were just huge holes left. DS couldn't report him as the bell went to start afernoon lessons and after school he has to get the school bus. I have had enough. bundled DS into the car and went round to this boys house - I sort of knew his mum probably wouldn't be there as she doesn't get home till around 7.

The boy opened the door and I asked if mum was there and he said no, so I said why did he think it appropriate to do what he did - he said he thought it was funny, I showed him the coat and his response was - it will wash! I could have slapped him. I told him I would return when his mum was home. Meanwhile, I have telephoned the school and left a message for the head of year to ring me - I gave a quick outline of what happened. DH has come home and said for us not to go back to the parents, but to let the school deal with it. I am just so Angry - Everything is bubbling up inside me.

As you were...

Some kind woman has just taken DS2 in and let him use the phone to ring us. The heavens opened a short while after he went out. DH has gone to pick him up in the car.

bellavita · 08/09/2010 18:45

and now because of the weather there isn't a satellite signal for the tv...

Lizzylou · 08/09/2010 18:49

Oh Bella, sounds awful.

I love that you are so feisty, good for you.

Sorry, have to do reading with DS1 before bed, back soon.

Have a soothing G&T and then I will pour one when I get back and we can catch up??

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/09/2010 18:50

Thanks Lizzy. Hair is ok but i want swishy, glossy hair a al Vinny Envy

ShockGrin

Mittz - are you still kickboxing? You always sound very positive after that Smile. Did you go back to the doc BTW?

Alice - Sit down woman!!!! Internet shopping for you please. Can DH take over the dishwasher etc. You do need to take it a bit easier after surgery

Ooooh Bella. I would be absolutely steaming Angry. And poor DS1 he must be upset and mortified too Sad

bellavita · 08/09/2010 18:51

Catching up sounds good Lizzy, as does G&T.

I am afraid I sounded like one of those ranty parents I get at school when I left a message at DS1's school Blush

Btw - you looked beautiful in your red dress Lizzy.

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/09/2010 18:51
bellavita · 08/09/2010 18:54

Oooh thanks Crispy Smile. You hair was lovely at our meet, seemed swishy to me.

bellavita · 08/09/2010 19:12

Oh it now gets worse. DS has come downstairs without a top on and he has got marks on his chest from todays events. DH has taken a photo for evidence.

TrillianAstra · 08/09/2010 19:14

I only typed a pretend virtual action for you!

Well done fiesty Bella - the kids at DSs school don't know that you spend your time dealing with the little shits other children at your school and you are hard.

Lizzylou · 08/09/2010 19:23

Oh Bella, you are doing the right thing standing up for your boy. I just think that so many people let these things slide as they are scared of repercussions but you are being fabulous.

BTW, the red dress I wore wasn't the original red dress, I chickened out. But thanks!

Lizzylou · 08/09/2010 19:23

Am renaming Bella PocketRocket henceforth.

bellavita · 08/09/2010 19:27

Lizzy, I feel sick about all this. The boy thinks he has probably got away with it as we have not been back and he will be all smug with himself Angry. I just need to keep myself together though tomorrow when I speak to the Head of Year.. Sometimes my anger and frustration can turn into tears.

Why did you chicken out with the dress?

DS2 has just had the hugest hot chocolate with a rather large amount of fresh whipped cream on top together with a load of choc chips scattered over the cream.

Lizzylou · 08/09/2010 19:33

Bella, you are being magnificent, truly.
You are a Lioness, just keep it in till you speak to Head of Year, of course you're upset. Bloody hell, the cheek of the litle shit!

I bet your DS is sooo pleased he has such an awesome Mom. I would be. lucky DS2 with his Hot choc!

The dress, well, with the shoes it was a bit too short really when you have a 4 and 6 yr old to run around after and also showed a bit too much tit. One or the other is my mantra (for weddings only, school run is another matter Wink), the other dress will look fab with opaques in colder weather.

VinegarTits · 08/09/2010 19:39

Crispy your hair is lovely, it doesnt take me long to do mine with the hot brush (5 - 10 mins) but it is heat damaged and i have short broken bits at the crown Blush

Good on you Bella, little horror needs a good slap, vile boy Angry

Lizzy i was looking at your pics, you look lovely! the lady in red Grin

Hello shiney, come back and talk to us!

bellavita · 08/09/2010 19:40

Grin a bit too much tit! I bet your DH wouldn't have minded Grin. Are you coming to the xmas meet up? How have your boys settled in at school?

bellavita · 08/09/2010 19:41

Hey Vinny Smile. I am looking forward to sleeping between you and BoF in Nov Wink

jetcat · 08/09/2010 19:43

ooh, a Bella, Bof and Vinny threesomeGrin

bellavita · 08/09/2010 19:46
Grin

Hello jet. Have you made a decision on the car?

Lizzylou · 08/09/2010 19:47

Bella, DS2 doesn't start until MOnday and to be honest he is very upset. Has been crying, asking me to sleep with him, wipe his bum, just generally regressing. He is obviously worried Sad

Am sure he'll be grand though and have been reassured by school mom mates (who will doubtless be ready with tissues on Monday morning!).

I have only put the nicer pics up, the Bride is sooo stunning and to be fair, all her family too. Some of the photos of me I have seen,...just nooooo! I have sooo many chins and such a dough face and am just built like a brick shit house.

I think I may need to accept that I will never look like Natalie Imbruglia, ah well!

jetcat · 08/09/2010 19:47

sorry, serious post now. Bella, thats awful - your poor DSShock You kick some assGrin

Fanny - yay for your friend, one of my friend of a friend also had success in Spain, tis wonderfulSmile

Alice, wow you sound busyShock When i had my section, i did virtually nothing for the first few weeksBlush You put me to shame!
