Wasting, our weekend campsite will be opening if you don't want to camp on site, have added benefit of shower, loos and swimming pool.

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 07/09/2010 21:45

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a lovely day. DD did well at school, looked a bit nervous going in but came out smiling and raring to go back. Long may it last.

Fanny, well done on getting DD to eat. Mine isn't too bad but it can be such a bloody trial sometimes and very disheartening.

Alice, yes I do often wonder why kids bodily emissions have to be quite so runny and er.. spreadable!

I'd love to go to Bestival - another year methinks.

Vinny, hopefully that was just a blip today with the breakfast club.

TrillianAstra · 07/09/2010 22:10

Talking of spreadable, I had some 'cream of St Agur' on ryvita for lunch, it was yummy. I think it should be creme de really though.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 07/09/2010 23:14

Had thought I would be able to make it to the Christmas meet up but can't make it now.

TrillianAstra · 08/09/2010 08:49

That's a shame Fanny - do you have something wonderful and River-Cottage-Christmassy on instead?

mittz · 08/09/2010 09:01

Morning, Kids back at school. DD is a junior ! a bit SmileSadGrinHmmConfused But routine will be nice.

How are all.

Had a short but lovely cycle ride to and from school Smile

Morning

i love the fact that i can now walk ds to school before i go to work, but have discovered the morning air turns my hair into a big frizz ball grr

i had to run back in the house quickly and go over it with my hot brush so i didnt go into work looking like a hairy armpit!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 08/09/2010 11:36

Morning Mittz, hope the cycle ride blew away some cobwebs.

Vinny you will have to invest in a stylish hat.

Trills nothing so swish sadly.

Right had a good morning sorting out and cleaning some of the kitchen, just about to take dog for a walk before picking up DD, the sun is shining so may go do some lengths this afternoon.

wastingaway · 08/09/2010 11:39

Morning!

Fanny I will check it out. Don't think Bestival will be one of DH working weekends if you see what I mean, so not sure how we could plan for it you see now I think about it. Hmm
I could always come without him! Grin

Trills, have you been eating moisturiser? Confused

Mittz, do you have a tag along bike or do they cycle themselves at that age?

Vinny could you keep a gas powered one at work, or is the grand entrance the important bit? Grin

Doing tidying and sorting today, my favourite. Smile

mittz · 08/09/2010 11:39

Grin at looking like a hairy armpit Vinny.

The spiders are being served their eviction notices Fanny Smile.

I am sure I have a snooze button in my bum because if I sit down I fall asleep Hmm

I left my phone at home today. I don't always use my phone at work (and rarely NEED to) but it feels weird. I might have interesting messages just sitting there.

MIL visiting tonight, she used our road as a carpark for Stansted. She's ok though, not a mad MIL (maybe she will turn into one if I have a baby).

VinegarTits · 08/09/2010 11:56

I think i will try wearing a hat, thanks fanny

if that doesnt work i will dig out my gas powered hot brush and take it to work, not worried about a grand entrance, can nip straight to the loos Grin

lovely weather here today, enjoy your swim fanny

TrillianAstra · 08/09/2010 12:03

Vinny you need to embrace your waves...

Not moisturiser, St Agur is that blue cheese, it's a spready one of that, like a softer slightly-blue philly. I think it'd be nice on pasta.

VinegarTits · 08/09/2010 12:44

i do embrace my waves, i dont straighten my hair, i smooth it into nice curls with a hot brush

i dont embrace frizz and the frizz-ease stuff is shoite

TrillianAstra · 08/09/2010 13:03

Yay for nice curls :)

wastingaway · 08/09/2010 13:48

Yay for curls!

Have you curly girls tried the new Lush product R&B? It's nice. Sort of leave-in conditioner/product. I just take a small blob and run it through my hair quick. My hair feels so soft and smells gorgeous.

YanknCock · 08/09/2010 14:04

Vinny, ovulation pain is horrid. Breakfast club definitely needs to hear how unimpressed you were yesterday.

Fanny, what great news for DS's godmother.

Alice, agree re the projectile thing. We've had a week of loose poo followed by projectile vomiting, argh.

I have taken down our ugly pink tar-stained curtains (a remnant of the previous owners). Blind up in the front window, nothing in the back (probably another blind when we can afford it).

Monkey child has had his jabs this morning, so have kept him home from nursery. He was very brave and not terribly annoyed (well, nothing a bit of boob couldn't sort out).

Started my online course last night, and saints forgive me for being a snob, but some of the people on it are fucking thick as two planks and clearly not prepared to work. I hope some of them drop out. I have to be online every weeknight from 7-11pm till November 1, then I can start earning money.

Back to full time job tomorrow, just till 14th October. I hope we can survive on the reduced income, I'm really looking forward to being home more with DS (aka 'Stinkbutt').

TrillianAstra · 08/09/2010 14:09

That's a pretty long course Yank, hope it is worth it!

Is monkey child running/crawling/climbing around everywhere now?

Lizzylou · 08/09/2010 14:12

Fab news for your friend, Fanny.

Yank, that is a long course and you judge away me lovely Wink

I'm naturally curly though my hair is straighter since boys, goes very frizzy in the rain though (all the time living here).

Shattered today, need some energy.

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/09/2010 16:43

Fan news Fanny. All the very best for a sticky one for them Smile

Yank - that is a crazy course length. Are they basically getting free laboour during that time? Hmm

SHiney - hope you are ok?

LOL at the thought of Trills with blue cheese goo smeared all over her face Grin

Vinny, your hair always looks amazing - does it take long? I cba to straighten (and DH doesn't like it Hmm), but my natural wave looks rather unkempt for work. Do you have to sit with curlers in for ages before hot brushing, or can you 'brush n go'?

I went on a tax course for self employed people this morning which was really rather good . Before that i went to the gym & ran 5k and 15 minutes powerplate

TrillianAstra · 08/09/2010 16:50

I just had a bscuit with a chocolatey face in it. It was ok.

Lizzylou · 08/09/2010 17:04

DS1 just gave me a Reese's peanut butter cup.

He is my favourite boychild now Grin

Crispy, you have lovely hair!!!

Alicetheinvisible · 08/09/2010 17:07

Hello Smile

Fanny and Yank it is so lovely to have you both back Smile

Haven't really stopped today until now, just waiting for DH to finish work, then back to horses and then on to waitrose. Pizza for dinner tonight i think. Actually haven't eaten that much today, have gone from being constantly ravenous to a bit meh, may be something to do with catching sight of my arms and thighs in the mirror Shock i didn't think i had done too badly but obviously i just looked small in comparison to enormous bump Hmm Grin 2st to go Confused

Lizzylou · 08/09/2010 17:09

Alice, it'll come off, 9mths on and all that.

You obviously have youth on your side, yu are exhausting me!

2stone is nowt as well, I was 4/5stone up at your stage!

Alicetheinvisible · 08/09/2010 17:19
