VinegarTits · 06/09/2010 18:56

DEM i most definitely approve yummmmmy Grin

Must be a huge relief to have left now Shiney?

I think Alice has a netbook, not a macbook, am i right?

Alicetheinvisible · 06/09/2010 19:03

Evening Smile

Yes Vinny is right, it is a netbook not a macbook. It is a small laptop the colour of chocolate Grin

Sorry Shiney, missed the stuff about work, hope all ok.

Lunch was very carby but yum. Was hoping to have an afternoon sleep alone in a quiet bedroom, but no, we were all up there, so no quiet nap. Bth kids then fell sleep in the car [mm] Grin

NormaSknockers · 06/09/2010 19:15

Vinny how dare they force you to eat a doughnut like that, it's disgusting & totally uncalled for. They should have forced me instead Grin Run up & down the stairs a few times to work it off....

Oh dear Shiney sounds like the resignation didn't go all that well but hey at least you're shot of them & out of a job you were miserable in - so....um.....cheers Grin Wink I meant to ask you actually, your flowers did they come in a wicker basket or a box? Because if it was a box I have an arse to talk to kick!

Ooppss sorry, netbook not that I know the difference Confused Grin Any plans this evening Alice, apart from sleeping?

Thanks DEM, I knew it was bad but didn't realise just how bad it had gotten but that's life I guess, will make do & get a stair lift - it'll be fun to slide down the banister Grin Sorry to hear you have similar probs though :(

Alicetheinvisible · 06/09/2010 19:25

Hey Norma Smile so have you got a plan from the hospital? Apart from the physio?

No plans for this evening, well apart from playing with new toy then hopefully an uninterrupteed soak in the bath followed by some sleep Grin

TrillianAstra · 06/09/2010 19:30

Sounds like a lovely evening Alice.

Shiney if you're worried about lurkers you should always remember the first rule.

Spicy chinesey chicken for dinner - DP made me put in 3 chillis off a plant called 'ring of fire' - if I'm not here after this it's because I have spontaneously combusted!

NormaSknockers · 06/09/2010 19:40

Best have a very large glass of water to hand Trills that sounds seriously hot, will you even be able to taste it? Grin

Not really Alice, I'll be kept an eye on, my progress monitored & it's just a play it by ear game really. They want to sort me out with some very sexy insoles & a few other things to try & level me out a bit but the consultant did say that after 10 years of being like this it's not going to be easy & as time goes on it will get worse but I knew that already so it's ok :)

Food today:

-2 cheese/jalepeno bagels with light philly (and a few thin slices of turkey on one)
-2 bags of cassava chips
-gnocci with meat sauce and a bit of grated cheese

And I am now hungry again. Not enough protein and veg and fruit, too many carbs. FAIL!

TrillianAstra · 06/09/2010 20:30

Survived. Was tasty. 'Ring of fire' not actually as hot as some of the others we have grown.

NormaSknockers · 06/09/2010 20:35

I shall call you Baldrick from now on Shiney oh master of the cunning plans.

Yank have a cuppa or clean your teeth to try & stop snacking?

Glad you're still alive Trills, though maybe stay downwind just incase Grin

Food today;

Cereal & SS milk (3.5 points)

WW Soup & baguette (6 points)

Spag hoops & toast (4.5 points)

2 Cadbury low fat mousses (2.5 points)
Special K mini breaks (1.5points)
WW choc bar (1.5 Points)

I'll have a hot choc in a bit too, not exactly the healthiest of days but still within points at least....

bellavita · 06/09/2010 20:39

Yank, fabulous to see you back Grin - did you get my holiday picture txt? I sent it to cheer up a couple of weeks ago.

Work not too bad, my colleague was on a mission again to talk non-stop. Normal shift tomorrow though and there is only a 45 minute cross over. Thank god!!

Norma, hope your extra physio helps.

Mittz, sending you a squeeze.

Alice, hope you have had a nice day.

DEM - how are you? is DS behaving?

Lizzy, sounds like you had a great time at the wedding.

Yogga brekka
ham salad - lunch
chicken salad - tea
lots of fruit

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/09/2010 20:45

Bella, how can you survive on two salads in this godawful weather? I have to have hot food at some point or i just feel cold and empty

Trills, glad to hear your head has not been blown off Grin

LOL @ Baldrick. Mmmm, yes, will try and ponder a cunning plan......

Been to pilates which was fab, even managed to do all the highest level stuff Smile. Have also developed a new exercise plan which takes account of working, so no excuses Hmm, I really want to get rid of this 1/2 stone again so i am going to try and stick to it.

BitOfFun · 06/09/2010 20:45

Just back from my spiritual home of Ikea where I bought a kitchen island thingy. Arrived home to find that DP had picked some of the mosaic tiles off and rearranged them to make a discreet little space invader Grin

wastingaway · 06/09/2010 20:53

Evening all!

Alice, your netbook sounds delicious. Grin
Trills, perhaps the name is a hint to put some loo roll in the fridge for the morning.
So far, DH has sliced one chilli onto a pizza which knocked his socks off. They're all turning red now, it's v. exciting. Grin

I have cooked turkey tonight, instead of chicken (heads up to Gigi and Marco!) and used some thai soup from reduced section as a cooking sauce, was tasty.

bellavita · 06/09/2010 20:53

Crispy, I love salad! The weather was nice this morning but it has turned into windy city here - tis like a gale blowing.

BoFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Grin - your kitchen will look great. Am liking the little space invader.

YanknCock · 06/09/2010 20:53

Grin at BOF's DP.

bella, YES! I did get it! I was just deleting messages yesterday and came across it again (it made the cut and stayed) Wink

BitOfFun · 06/09/2010 20:57

Here he isGrin

wastingaway · 06/09/2010 20:57

Ikea Envy as per. Grin

bellavita · 06/09/2010 20:58
Grin
NormaSknockers · 06/09/2010 20:59

Grin at BOFs space invader

Why didn't I get a holiday text Bella? What, am I not worth spending 10p on? Humph!

That sounds delish wasting, nom, nom, nom!

NormaSknockers · 06/09/2010 21:00

BOF I love it! Are you going to keep him? The space invader that is not DP

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/09/2010 21:01

Space invader is fab Grin

Bella, I love salad too, but sometimes just can't compete with a warm full tummy

wastingaway · 06/09/2010 21:02

Mmm, nom nom indeed! Rice is yummy. Never do it anymore as DS wouldn't eat it and DH isn't bothered.

Space Invader rocks!
