Afternoon. I think slugs are great for the first five minutes
Well, the appointment went ok i think. Mini was creating havic, so i rang ex to see if he could pick her up early (was coming down to pick them up anyway). He got there about 5 mins before the end - 90 mins after i had rang him
He lives 15 mins away

Junior has to go for one to one sessions, and is now going to be assessed for ADD. I, however, dont think she has ADD, as there is no problem with her concentration - once she actually understands what she has to to. It is the understanding and the processing of information she struggles with (has a processing disorder). But, i am the mum, so what to i know
They are not finalising any diagnosis of aspergers until after the speech and language assessment - so we are still waiting. But, on the plus side, they are going to work on reducing her anxieties, which are really high at the moment. Fingers crossed.
When ex finally did pick them up, there was another request for money. He had told them he was taking them to a fair, but then said only if i gave them some money for the rides etc. You will be proud of me - i said no
I said i couldnt afford to pay for all the activities when they are with me, and then more when they are with him. He was ppissed off, so i am hoping he doesnt take hs mood out on the girls.
Finally, i will end on another gem from mini. I did umm and ahh over posting this, and dont want to offend anyone, but i hope it will come across in the spirit it is intended
At nursery school on Thursday, while waiting to go in, mini spotted a little boy standing next to her. So she shouts, all excited, "look mum, i'm not the smallest anymore" - making all the other parents smile. She jumps around a bit more, still shouting it. The little boy turns around, and i am asumming (from his facial features) he has a kind of dwarfism
I then try to spend the next 5 minutes hiding mini in the toilet - to stop her shouting
