Nah- I will correct my remiss neglect very soon. Roll on the kids going back.

bellavita · 01/09/2010 19:20

Yay for Shiney's flowers and chocolates!!

Big thanks to Norma who was the brains and organiser behind them.

jetcat · 01/09/2010 19:26

Smile shiney. So glad you got the nursery fees sorted - i bet he will love preschool!

Vinny - are you still thinking about besitval next year? I have been looking at tickets, and am thinking i may splash out next month on themHmm

Hope the plastering goes well bof - tis lovely to see youSmile

Mini went back to nursery today - she loved itGrin Back to her usual chatty little self i cant shut her up Grin Her teacher tells me they were looking at animals, and what noises they make. Mini pointed out the meercats that she had seen at Flamingoland, and yes, you guessed it - when asked what noise they make - she replied - "simples"Grin

While enjoying the peace,i took junior down to the games store, where she offloaded her old ps2 and ds, and with a few games. Came out with £45, so not too badGrin

Someone tell me if this is a good idea please (although it is Xmas again Blush) Bless Junior, she is lovely, but she doesnt have much style sense IYSWIM. She has a lovely figure Envy and could look really nice, but all she seems to wear is jeans and scraggy old t-shirts. But, she does want to look a bit more trendy though, and although i like to think i know stuff, clearly i dontGrin

So, i was thinking of getting her some gift vouchers for clothes, and booking her in with a personal shopper as a xmas pressie? We get so frustrated going shopping, as she is quite restricted (due to inability with fastenings etc) so it would be great if someone else could do all the trudging around!

jetcat · 01/09/2010 19:28

lordie i do love a Grin Smile Hmm

I think i may start judging my emotional health by how many i use in one post!

TrillianAstra · 01/09/2010 19:29

Yay for the flowers/chocs, they turned up quickly!

About to go have proper dinner with DP (at table with wine rather than in front of TV).

Jet that is the noise meerkats make! Grin

mittz · 01/09/2010 19:33

weirdly I sort of do that Jet GrinHmm Smile

Heyyy...BoF Smile((((( ))))) xxxxxx Smile

Hey MyCat.

jetcat · 01/09/2010 19:55

Mycat!Grin Lovely to see you - and wasting!

I know trills - apparantly mini was very indignant when people laughedGrin

jetcat · 01/09/2010 19:56

thans Mittz, i think i will probably go for it. People are starting to ask what they should get them both for pressies, and junior is fed up of getting clothes she either doesnt like, or can't wearHmm

VinegarTits · 01/09/2010 19:58

Shiney flowers, how lovely Smile

i am giggling at mini and 'simples' Grin thats so funny

Yes i an still up for bestival Jet! let me know the details i will put it in my diary

i have to go to work tomorrow for one day Hmm i would take it off but i only have 4 days holiday left Shock lord knows what i have done with them all Confused

Finnster is fasto now mittz, he was a little bit emotional tonight, not sure if it was tiredness or just overwhelmed by the day

mittz · 01/09/2010 19:58

''Meow are ya?'' Lololol Grin vehhry funny wasting xx

VinegarTits · 01/09/2010 20:00

Hello mycat! about time you came back Grin

jetcat · 01/09/2010 20:08

so thats junior sorted then, just need to pay for it allGrin

Bestival is the weekend of the 29th July next year Vinny. Would you be camping at the site, or in lovely fanny's field?

wastingaway · 01/09/2010 20:16
Grin

Finn's day sounds awesome Vin. Grin

Hey Bof! Hope your DIY is going well.

Jet, sounds like a great idea. How is she with being touched on the face/hands? And strong smells? If you've got a Lush nearby they often do a facial or hand massage to try out cleansers etc.

I've got a bad tummy. Sad

But DH got all his hair stuck to the flypaper. Grin

I shouldn't laugh. Grin

jetcat · 01/09/2010 20:20

Grin I shouldnt laugh either wasting Grin

ok with hands, not so much the face. Every year she gets a mountain of make up - despite never wearing anyHmm I like the sound of Lush, i think there is one at the Metrocentre, will have to have a nosy!

MuckyDucky · 01/09/2010 20:23

I am not laughing. honest. Grin

bellavita · 01/09/2010 20:26

Hi Wasting. I am Grin at DH's hair getting stuck.

Alicetheinvisible · 01/09/2010 20:30

Hello Smile

I keep going onto 'threads i'm on' and finding it empty Grin

All good here, DH back to work tomorrow so not sure i will get on here, may be as much as i can manage to make sure everyone is fed and vaguely dressed Grin

HV came round today and she made sure i knew i had to eat enough to produce milk Grin such a shame that i am almost forced to finish off the chocolate pudding....

TrillianAstra · 01/09/2010 20:33

Yes Alice, you definitely need to eat plenty so you make lots of lovely milk - did HV think you looked skinny then? Grin

Don't worry, no-one is expecting you to be baking cakes with a 2 yr old and a teeny tiny baby - all fed and approximately clean will do - dressed is optional :)
