Starting a new part time job this week (2 days a week one week and then 2 the next) and am on a massive guilt trip about abandoning dd (who is 2.8).
I have worked part time since dd was 3 months but have had last month off whilst waiting to start new job.

Please give me the positives for being a working mum before i nominate myself for "Crap mum of the year" award

You feel guilty so you are looking for signs in your daughter to confirm your guilt. It is hard leaving them but gets easier. When I have been up through the night id ds is unwell it is a blessing going to work (he is usually better in the morning) just to have a "rest". But of course, there are times I envt sahm's. I think you have a good balance.
