PMSL Tree

Happy Birthday to ds1

Busy fannying about with website and vistaprint! Going to have dinner soon and watch last nights Hustle. Jabula coming round soon too (Would you like me to keep her hostage til she surrenders all nappies???!!!)

mumface · 26/01/2010 12:48

Major fluffy post!! Itti Bitti brite, It's an AIO, white with red spots of varying size all over, it's not minki or pul but a soft synthetic fabric rather like Tirsokas outer.
It's my favourite Itti ever!(obviously)
Also Bugenius flips and 2 pairs of pocket Bots trainers I am testing, one old syle and one new to compare. OOh getting the washing machine on quick.

mumface · 26/01/2010 12:52

Just realised Itti is actually a very pale pink, not white with red spots! Looks unisex tho as it's so feint.

50ftQueenie · 26/01/2010 12:54

Pink? That's no good for a boy, you'd better let me have it Mumface.

NappyShedSal · 26/01/2010 12:54

Octo - I'm having real prblems with Vistaprint - I just can't get my completed designs to match to the free offers. Have emailed them today and I've just had a Customer Satisfaction survey come through asking how i rated the help that I was given - I HAVEN'T RECEIVD ANY HELP!!!!! And I still can't order what I want. - AGH!!!!

Ah Myjob, You know I would sell my first born for a Bright!

Interested Mumface? DS is 6, very well mannered, small, comes with a fairly large collection of clothes, currently has a wobbly tooth.

Oh sod the prewash I can't wait that long! Putting Itti on Connor and pull ups on Lewis. Can't take piccies yet as my stupid camera not working, keeps saying flat battery with brand new batteries in it.

mumface · 26/01/2010 13:29

Sorry 50ft, got that model already, he's 6 in June. Currently obsessed with a £10 Gameboy I just bought him off ebay (apparently I am the best mum ever because of this)

50ftQueenie · 26/01/2010 13:31

Awww how sweet. Oh well it was worth a try. My poor ds isn't too happy with me because I made him write out the spellings he got wrong three times instead of only twice!

octothechildherder · 26/01/2010 13:31

Jabula been and gone - A so cute!

Lunch still to go then hustle and a bath - nice peaceful day.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 26/01/2010 13:34

Am going round in circles! Have just got back from baby clinic and boots. Boots phamasist said she is defintaly tooo young for lactulose or anything. Yet everybody else seems to have it?!!?!

The HV was concerned though but wasn't sure herself. She is going to phone me at some point today for a proper talk and possibly come round to see us.

We also went to a different doctors (in the same building as the baby clinic) to sign up there but they said I can only register on Friday afternoons?!?!

There isn't another Doctor at the surgery we can see, its just the one lady at a small clinic. So we are changing (this isn't the first problem we have had - should have changed 2 years ago really!)

50ftQueenie · 26/01/2010 13:48

Jenny - I will echo what Tree said. Dried apricots, boiled in some water then pureed. It worked every time for ds and dd. I was laughed at on my post-natal thread because every time anyone mentioned constipation I immediately said dried apricot. Plus do try the tummy massage, that has also worked for me in the past. I hope something works for you soon.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 26/01/2010 13:50

My 4 flips have just arrived. Not too sure on them TBH. How is everybody else feeling about them? I would want more of their inserts to use them properly but they are quite expensive? The napppy is a great deal on the offer but don't think the actual inserts are on offer anywhere?

4andnotout · 26/01/2010 13:53

Hiya everyone

Everyone has finally gone home from my coffee morning this morning, was fun but im knackered now!

Dbil and the inlaws have invited themselves for tea too, so thats a ful roast for 9 then

Dp had his blood test results rushed back (he only had it taken yesterday) and he is definately diabetic, he just needs a glucose tolerance test to find out how bad it is, probably diet and tablet controlled.

No fluffy post today, or any post at all actually

Mumface

Keep looking at Itti Brites on Oz website, and dareing myself to buy something, never ordered from abroad before! But the fear of final cost and the fact I can't get estimate shipping to work is stopping me.
They are such a lovely fit n so stretchy, I wanna live in Austalia s'not fair!

treedelivery · 26/01/2010 19:51

Linkey please mumface. I'm too tired to search

Oh 4. I hope it's easily controlled and gets better with all the info and advice.

Jenny - I knwo the dr's hate using medication on under ones as it can cause tummy cramps in everyone - but they can't tell us so it's a bit crappy for them. It's a hard balance between that, and the constipation.
Really rub her tummy, you have to really work it. ANd put a good blob of vaseline at her anus - the pressure triggers release. Nice!
I have given a bottle of water with some huice in, rather than milk. Just to get the fluids in. The longer the stool is in there, the more it needs feeding with fluid to stop it drying out.
Poor lambkin.

Bambooty - glorious fit but needs more washes. H fell asleep and it was on way too long. It leaked, but I don't know when. So will try again during the day. I really like it.

4andnotout · 26/01/2010 20:09

Evening all

Ahh peace at last as everyone has gone home and the dd's are all tucked up in bed asleep!

Dinner was a hit, dbil complimented me profusely so I'm still as he usually takes the piss ou of me permenantly he has taken a very dodgy video of my doing just dance on the wii and threatened to put it on YouTube I'm fairly sure I have more dirt (serious adulterous) dirt that he wouldn't want aired in public!

Feel completely knackered now though, could do with a hot bath and early night but the running water will make the emersion scream and wake the kiddies.

Dp is feeling very positive about the GTT, both his parents are insulin dependent diabetics so it's not a complete shock, he already has heart disease, angina and needs a bypass so it may complicate things in the future but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Mumface-I'm the same I'm too worried to buy from abroad and work out shipping, I'm a real wuss
