...I am flipping ancient (realised the other day I have been having periods for 30 years )

Happy birthday youth and to Lewis as well

I'm not really buying any nappies at the minute...but am selling some, I hope! I have a double demo booked on Thursday and another couple of bookings in the offing.

I need to list all my surplus nappies as well. I have loads that I don't use and whenever I think of selling I get all nostalgic, use them for a bit and wonder why I don't use them more often, lol!

I thought I had posted a reply re Happy Heiney's last night; obviously not! I have one myjob and it is really long lasting and absorbent, but I find the wide waist band a bit stiff and restrictive so I tend not to use it very much. It's on my list on ones to sell.

bagpuss · 23/02/2010 12:21

What is it that you don't understand about the side snaps sal? My eyes have been welded to that website for the past 2 days or so while I try to plan the next couple of side snaps for the dts. They have their smalls on at the minute but I'm not hopeful that they won't leak as there is a serious case of builder's bum going on with them! Anything you need to know just shout - I'm sure any of us weenotions addicts customers will be happy to answer .

4, happy birthday to you! 28 I remember 28 when I was 8 months pg with dd1. Plan was to have all my pgs over by the time I was 30, not sure what happened there .

Scotia, you need to provide us with photographic evidence of this fluff overload I think - what did you go for?

myjob still at orchid magicall. I used to quite like happy heineys on ds2 but never had a one size.

Rachel, it has been 23 days since my last nappy purchase, although I have had a wetbag and a couple of tots wraps in the meanwhile. I need a fix I think .

Octo, how was the baby show?

salbysea · 23/02/2010 12:41

standard rise Vs high rise?
is high rise just for night time?

It just depends on how high up you want them to come. The smalls we have only have a slightly shorter rise than the SR mediums do and they are quite low now on the dts so personally I would always go for high rise. I tend to stuff a lot into our pockets so the high rise would work better because the extra boosting pulls the pocket down slightly IYSWIM? With a boy you may also want high rise as boys tend to wet out towards the front of the nappy and so it would give you more coverage in the appropriate place. To check which is better for you I would get a tape measure and measure from top front of nappy to top back (think that's right) and check against the table at the top of the page.

Next question - what design are you having?

I stuff the front of his nappies, doesn't really need anything at the back so I guess high would be best?

I like the pirate "Ahoy there, change me booty" one

Scotia · 23/02/2010 13:14

Trying to send photos to the laptop now - will add them to my profile if I can get it to work!

Scotia · 23/02/2010 13:27

Done

Sal, K's nappies are all large standard rise and they are a good fit on him. The Scotland one is an Upsy Daisy One Size on its smallest setting! Couldn't resist it when I saw it on ebay - then had to buy the matching boardies

bagpuss · 23/02/2010 13:33

Sal, ds1 was begging me to buy that one the other day . I'm not though - far too many ideas floating round my head!

myjob, snap - my cart at nearly £80 which I don't actually have to spend .

Scotia - can't wait to see!

Well, dts WNSS are now definitely too small . Just took them off - dt2's had leaked despite mega stuffing and dt1's was half way down her bottom at the back .

bagpuss · 23/02/2010 13:39

Awww Scotia, those are just lovely - the pirate one is one of the ones I was considering. Am just awaiting a reply from WN about another idea I have had first. What colour are the kites on? I really like that too!

octothechildherder · 23/02/2010 13:40

Happy here today - have got a distributorship agreement for Jackson Reece - quite exciting!

Am teaching this afternoon so need to crack on lol

have sat at laptop all morning....

((((nappy free means no more WN here))))

Scotia · 23/02/2010 14:06

((octo)) boo for no more WN

Bagpuss, the kites are on royal blue minkee (although I must say it looks more purple to me, but I do love it) What was your idea (nosy, lol)

Oh yes, and someone on CNT is looking for small wee notions if you want to sell on the dts' to fund more

Scotia · 23/02/2010 14:08

Ooh, and hurrah for Jackson Reece distributorship

Off to google as never heard of them lol.

bagpuss · 23/02/2010 14:13

I was thinking along the lines of a desert scene with the new wild west appliques but I'm not sure if it would look odd . I thought the blue looked purple too 'tis very nice all the same!

I'm not selling the wnss I have because they were my first wn order and I was so ridiculously excited when I got them that I'm going to keep them as a sort of keepsake . They aren't all that special to look at but they remind me of when the dts were really tiny - the pic on my profile is of them on the dts at six weeks old and they look huge!

Scotia · 23/02/2010 14:32

Desert scene sounds good - you could have yellow and tye die blue minkees with a sun in the sky and cactus and cowboy on the desert. Would be fab

The dts are super cute in their teeny wns too.

bagpuss · 23/02/2010 14:46

That's exactly what I've asked for in my e-mail and thank you, it seems ages ago that I took that photo - I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that they've outgrown them really!

lol at running out of things . Ooh pocketbots are another I keep meaning to have a look at. They do suedecloth inners now which I would like as dt1 has a sort of excema rash on her inner thighs which only seems better when she uses suedecloth lined nappies. Easyfits look nice. I was having a good squish of a packet when I was in mothercare the other week. Better looking in the flesh I thought.

My changing bag is coming! I have been tracking the parcel and it is on the delivery van . Also have some WN wipes on the way too.

treedelivery · 24/02/2010 12:12

Oh you are having fluffy times!

remember I had a faulty lim eitti? I contacted twinkle where it came from, and a new wrap arrived today! i only emailed Sunday night. Very impressed!!

Shame it's a medium as she is probably going to move up to large in next 3-4 months I guess Might see if can swap it on CNT for a large. Yay for fluffy post though and great service no?

Are you looking out the window for santa delivery vans bagpuss???

bagpuss · 24/02/2010 13:03

LOL tree, yes!

OMG new girlie minkee fabrics at WN
