Hope you are OK tree, I hate going to work now since having the kids. I am off to work in a min and I am soooo tired I feel sick and I have no idea how I am going to last tonight. Working till 1am and then coming home to sleep. But Talia gte up between 5-6am atm. Meaning I will prop have about 3 hours sleep. DH working tomorrow too so no chance of any rest. AND got to do packing/sorting incase the lady who looked at our house today decides she wants it - waiting to hear from her.

treedelivery · 20/02/2010 19:07

Oh Jenny that does sound hard. You get so little sleep, I've noticed that before. My sympathy. I can only manage because the dd's go to GP's.

On the down side I will say bye bye to dd's on Sunday at 6pm, and see dd1 on Tuesday at 3.15. Just so I can work a 12 hour shift on delivery. This continuity of care costs!
I can't pick her up at 8.30, it's too late for her. DH is out of it really, he can't be relied on to get home for her bedtime.

Oh good luck with the house jenny! Are you selling/swapping/moving?

mumface · 21/02/2010 10:13

Just bought a new pink cotton tots nippa for £1.99 posted for my reborn, so cute and will go really tiny!

JennyPenny22 · 21/02/2010 13:14

Tree - we are renting but leaving west London and off to west Sussex - Can't wait. But got to find new tenants ourselves if we want to go before May, but if we stay till may there will be workmen in our house a lot so I just want to go!

mumface - we have kushies dolls nappies and they are fab. Got them in the lollipop sale. Did order enough for some friends etc but they were out of stock so they just sent me what they had - 3 I think? They are really cute though!

Tree - It sounds really hard. At least you have their lovely GPs support.

LittlePants · 22/02/2010 07:43

Hi Tree! Nice to see you back! I don't get on here so often now either - it's so time consuming to keep up, and I am now madly knitting! Have written a new skirty pattern, and doing customs, and they are going like hot cakes!! (Take a look;))I don't envy you though! Good luck with the job!

mumface · 22/02/2010 12:58

Happy birthday to Lewis Mumface

bagpuss · 22/02/2010 20:42

@ orchid magicall myjob.

tree, hope work went/is going OK. My itti is lime and I also have a peppermint one which I thought was going also but it seems to have righted itself for the time being at least. Cross about the lime one as it was only new in Jan and I haven't done anything different to it than the others. DT2 just did get a leak from it at the back where it is wrinkled up but the inserts were sodden and so I think it may be that he out wetted it rather than it being broken iyswim. Will maybe sent an e-mail to the seller to see if I can have a new outer though.

I have been looking at the weenotions website again. I think I should ban myself from it actually - far too may girlie designs I like but not enough boy ones. Need to replace my two side snaps as dts are both out wetting them although the nappies themselves fit well still. The pockets are very tight in the smalls and so I can't get too much stuffing in them so they don't tend to last very long.

mumface, happy birthday to Lewis, hope he has a great party .

octothechildherder · 22/02/2010 20:44

ooh Happy Birthday for tomorrow - you are making me feel old lol

thebluefoxategreensocks · 22/02/2010 23:22

Oh, happy birthday to Lewis and 4!

4: I was 28 two weeks ago - sometimes I still feel like I'm hardly out of my teens and wonder how I can already have 3 children, and other times I think how ancient I am - still hard to think only 2 years away from the big 30! I do remember being a child and thinking my Dad was soooo old when he was 28 or 29 and nearly 30! LOL Though thankfully my daughter tells me I'm not very old, so that's kind of her!

So everyone still buying lots of nappies? I think I've gone about 10 days without buying any! LOL And the Itti Bitti I bought the other week, it's already off to someone else - me having only tried it once! So, safe to say, I don't think I'll be feeling tempted to buy another ever again! LOL

JennyPenny22 · 23/02/2010 00:32

Happy birthday 4

28? I remember my 28th birthday - it was many moons ago lol. DD3 will be 23 tomorrow and dd1 will be 27 in 11 days.

All my birthdays have come at once though - had my 4 Wee Notions pockets arrive, lovely lovely fluff

Octo, just to let you know the longies have turned up today for repair - there's 2 little holes at the bottom of the leg I can see. Was that everything? I'll need to get some grey wool to darn with, but I need that anyway to darn a pair of highland dancing socks for dd2. I'll let you know when I've done it, but I won't be able to start until I get the wool. Hope that's ok.

salbysea · 23/02/2010 11:27

oooo lots of birthdays hope you all have good 'uns

I LOOOVE cloth nappy days - not only are they cute but I now associate them with my days off with LO (as still in disposables with CM and at nursery). - I will start sending cloth to nursery, I just don't have quite enough of them yet to send to nursery AND enjoy using them at home so they're just for home for now, but his nursery is more than happy to use em when I get sorted. (CM not so much!)

Not done a night yet but he's been soaking though size 5 disposables so no excuse really - I've got a tots bots stretchy coming so when it arrives I'm gonna give a night a go!

salbysea · 23/02/2010 11:38

I want this:
weenotions.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=74_264&products_id=3920
but am being a bit thick - don't understand the side snap options?

octothechildherder · 23/02/2010 11:47

Scotia - I think so lol - I haven't got a pic of them - not sure how it happened to be honest. Let me know how you get on.

Tushies Tuesdays is for a Cheeky Monkey Wipes Kit this week.
