ooh myjob - you should see what I have coming - may email you some links as am bursting to tell!!!

bagpuss · 19/02/2010 16:24

Oh, Octo you can't keep tempting us like this! Your site is becoming lethal - a mf wetbag simply hopped into my basket and checked itself out before lunch . Too many things that I didn't know I needed .

This is the new bag i am thinking of getting. Will probably just get boring black though.

Hi Swampster - just to let you know that the strawberry itti turned up this morning, many thanks - it was lovely getting fluffy post again!

Not sure if you would have had yours today - I posted 2nd class [cheapskate emoticon] but if not then fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Octo - I am boycotting your site in case I spend any more money . But I might have to check in to see what all the excitement it about....please don't let me buy anything!

helloooo still struggling to keep up on here and feeling a bit crap with what I think is a sinus infection (I have a constant smell of cigarette smoke in my nose which is horrible)

I prewashed my stretchy three times before using and it was fine; that was for daytime use though. Mid you, with a wool wrap it should be fine overnight; the material seems much better than loopy pile bamboo at districuting wee along it's length.

I accidentally bought two Flips the other day (a minute before FYP's bogof offer run out ) and they arrived today. I am puzzled about the construction of them. One of them has a secondary poly sheet across the back of the two rows of waist poppers, but the other one has this sheet backing over all of the poppers, including the rise poppers. Having spoken with bambinex about their one size wraps last year, I understand that they add reinforcement to the back of all the poppers as an added barrier against wicking where the popper goes through. soooo, my worry is that the the one without the backing to the rise poppers may cause leakage.

how are others' Flips constructed? with a full backing or only on the top two rows of poppers. And, if only the top two, have there been any wicking issues? I used the wrap with one of my other BG inserts earlier and I must say it held up quite well, but wasn't tested to the max as he had a poo and the next nappy was a bedtime one.

Daisy- Just checked and mine are like yours, backing over all poppers on the blue one, but only over top 2 rows on green one. Even got one out bucket to check
Never even noticed any difference in use.

swampster · 19/02/2010 23:38

Glad your Itti got to you so quickly Kirsty. I had to post some other stuff and pick up some mail redirection forms too so I queued for EVER (sarf Lundun POs!) By the time I got to the end of the line and the difference between first and second class was all of 20p it didn't seem worth the pain to not send first... Hope mine gets to me tomorrow.

JennyPenny22 · 20/02/2010 00:30

have sold loads of nappies tonight so very pleased! Have just packed up about 50 nappies Do you think I would be mean to send DH out tomorrow morning with them (he would be walking, with a DD and a buggy to store them on? Lol.

Octo - I am definatly going to be shopping on your site once we move! Want some sandwich bags, which I am sure will amount to other purchases!

Have somebody looking at the house tomorrow. If she does want to take our tenancy on, we will be in a major hurry to get packed and find a house as they will want us out in time for them to fix the house and the new people move in mid march! Really looking forward to moving, but not all the hard work that goes with it!!

mumface · 20/02/2010 09:11

Well done on clearing some nappies Jenny- send DH out!

Announcement- I will be needing some newborn pink nappies in the house soon!

Haha no, not pregnant. I have bought a reborn baby girl. I already collect special collectors Barbie dolls and have always wanted a reborn doll too. (even though everyone in RL hates them especially my BF)
But I think they are a work of art, hand painted and hand rooted each individual hair. Although I won't be taking her out in a pram lol (did anybody watch 'my fake baby'?!)
She is coming on Tuesday and is very pretty and lifelike.

Morning! Have had fluffy post already - a lovely wetbag from Octo .

My flips are different too - the pink have the backing and the green and blue don't. I think they are from different batches or something. If you go to the web address on the little label and type in the code it will tell you when and where they were made. Mine have never had any wicking issues.

swampster · 20/02/2010 11:56

Got my tiger, kirsty. It is fabulous, really 'as new' - thank you.

Blimey myjob, must be a whole heap warmer where you are than it is here . Mine are all still on the radiators but the plus side to that is that the itti inserts do dry in about 4 hours!

Now two of my itti outers have gone sticky . Trouble is if I replace then they won't be used for 5 minutes as they are suddenly getting very snug on the dts, mind you I do have to sell them on and I can't do that if they are faulty really .

hello everyone!

Who remembers me?

What did I miss? nappy on the line bleaching out a poo stain. It's lovely. Reminds me of summer and tiny dd and how excited I was hanging the nappies out

I have another crinkly odd itti too. The lime one that was a gift

So who's doing what, in into what and washing it in what and what colour is it?

I'm ok.

Well, no, a bit deranged actually. Work on Monday, after one year and 2 months. A new job too. And a 13 hour shift. I get tearful at the thought. Too hard, physically, mentally, family wise, stress wise...but money rules does it not.

What about those strawberry bambootys though!? Aren't they good? It's the itti effect - you can't believe they will work but they do!

Stretchy too. Good on you. They are rather excellent no?
