Yay bagpuss for DT2 ; you must be so relieved that it's over.

CC, I hope that DH is home soon; must be tough with the three of them on your own!

ouch for the toothache mumface

bumble has been in the wars again; he leant on the top edge of an empty toy box and it tipped and the opposite side smacked him in the face (would be funny if on You've been framed; not so funny with his screams!) and he has a wee cut on his cheekbone and a line of bruises over the corner of one eye and onto his forehead...and it was all turnging blue underneath as well...am frightened to take him out the house, lol!

DH driving me bonkers and keeps putting sposies on him when he gets him up in the morning.....I like to have some on hand incase of nappy rash/inept babysitters, but am leaning towards not buying them ever again.

mumface · 18/02/2010 08:18

Oh Daisy poor Bumble!
iliketosleep/myjob- Oooh I am a cat person too, I worked in a cattery for 5 years. I have a beautiful silver tabby and a scruffy little rescue tortoiseshell, and my cats are my other babies lol.

JennyPenny22 · 18/02/2010 09:01

Good news bagpuss!

Cat wise, we have a gorgeous tabby Persian cat. The friendliest cat I have ever come across. She loves the kids. Talia is only 9 months but the cat loves to sit on her lap and let Talia play with her fur. She has never ever scratched anybody, even if the kids have accidentally hurt her. She follows them round all the time. She gets on Elouises nerves as she always sits on her paper when she is drawing

Just packaging up all the stuff that sold yesterday, pleased to say they are going at a good rate so hopefully will have a lot less nappies soon. Picking up some boxes this morning so we can get packing! The yoyoos should be gone by next week and have had really good feedback on the ones that have sold.

Next thing I will be listing is some small/medium unisex longies and my UD fitteds (medium). Anybody on here want first choice, facebook me or CAT or PM on CNT.

Anyway, need to get off here and get packing parcels so I can go to work!

Yes it doesn't seem like 5 minutes since we were on it. DD1 is now 9 DD2 is now 8 DS1 is 6 and I had a MMC with that pregnancy at 10 weeks, but was pg soon after and DD3 is now 19 months old! We did have 2 bengals but the older one was run over He was my baby, but then we had to get a friend for Simba cause he kept beating the kids up out of bordem lol

y facebook I think if you want to add me, there are pics of them on there xx

KirstyJC · 18/02/2010 14:03

Hi Swampster, fluffy tiger post on it's way to you - enjoy!

bagpuss · 18/02/2010 16:16

Thanks everyone . I'm just hoping now no more hospital visits for a while .

mumface, hope the tooth problems clear up soon!

CC, poor you being without your dh. I hope he is well and home again soon.

Jenny sorry to hear about your business closing and good luck with your move. Was it you that wanted magicalls? I have a large grape wonderworks one if that is any good to you. In fact I must renew my subs on here and get some bits listed on the for sale section. I'm relatively happy with my stash on the whole but I have decided that I need a cow print blueberry OS and maybe one of the new prints for dt1 as well and it would be good if they didn't cost me anything!

I have to buy a new changing bag too as mine fell apart quite drastically on our pre op trip to hospital last week - I have only used it for about 3 months and so I took it back to John Lewis and got a refund as I didn't like the look of any of the others they had. It is really difficult to find one that is big enough for twins let alone twins in cloth! I think I've decided on one but just need dh's approval before I spend all that money again!

Daisy, I hope bumble's face gets better soon. ds2 had a little girl at pre-school run into him by accident last year and he bruised his cheekbone really badly and had a black eye for ages. I kept having to explain to people when we went to the supermarket and he was sat in the trolley looking sorry for himself, what had happened to him as I was that they thought it was because of me!

Octo, have a lovely time at the baby show. I hope you have lots of lovely new products soon! I am feeling very tempted by your cheeky monkey kit btw, would be perfect for my new changing bag don't you think?

myjob, hope your fluffy post turns up soon - which type of bambooty did you get?

4, enjoy your peace and quiet - not much of that here sadly .

If i do get the blueberry OS, should I get aplix or poppers? Was thinking poppers because they might not get so tatty but not sure?

octothechildherder · 18/02/2010 17:11

Thanks bagpuss - some lush stuff coming - am very excited - just waiting til it all arrives then will transform into a new me! Like a stinky kushies into a beautiful holdens landing!

I would go for poppers. I am listing a WNOS SS on CNT if anyone interested.

Better day today with the boys

octothechildherder · 18/02/2010 17:13

Show us your changing bag too!! Counts as fluff around here!

octothechildherder · 18/02/2010 17:46

Thanks myjob! Poncho now has a bag!

JennyPenny22 · 18/02/2010 22:30

I didn't get to go ot the PO today - so everything bought will be posted tomorrow. I went to work at 9amish this morning to do a "couple of hours" work for my BIL doing cleaning and a few other bits. Got home 12 hours later, after doing the cleaning, helping with doing bits to the house they were behind schedule with, running erands and then babysitting his newborn baby as he was stuck at work. Now have a very messy house again because DH was in charge and he seems to be incapable of cleaning up after himself, and I am back at this job at 8.30am tomorrow, hopefully only a couple of hours this time.

4andnotout · 18/02/2010 22:32

Jenny phew you sound like you deserve a rest, my dp cannot manage to "babysit" our dd's and tidy too, amazing how women manage it everyday isn't it. Im in no rush so don't rush about posting

mumface · 19/02/2010 14:51

Myjob, I wouldn't risk not prewashing the stretchy, I did 1 prewash and think it needs a couple more. Not tried it at night yet though.

Sandwich bags are in again which is good news.

Also the Poncho2Go now has a cotton bag to store it in - will post one to Tree. All very exciting.

FIL on way ... need to cook dinner.
