Charlottesclan - Sorry to just jump in, haven't read the thread yet but off to work now so will catch up later - just wanted to say, I have some brand new girly longies for sale if you are interested. Will Send you a picture later if you are interested.Bought them for Talia but we ended up using sposies for the first month and then she was such a big fat monster that she was getting a bit big so thought I would keep them new to sell. They haven't even been tried on. I know I will probably get told off for putting this on here, but wouldn't have mentioned if you hadn't of mentioned newborn longies for a girl!

mumface · 09/02/2010 14:17

Octo- I too thought the Snugglepants would be too small when I saw them, but they are perfect, with room to grow on the legs too. Am so pleased with the yummy colours they are my favourite pair! Would look perfect with a little pair of blue sherpa boots, how long till they come?
Bit of a poonami with the Wildchild night nappy. It leaked all out the sides and was luckily contained within a ME wrap- glad I didn't use any wool!

50ftQueenie · 09/02/2010 14:24

My Wild Child NN only got tested for a couple of hours as dd decided it was a good idea to vomit all over herself in the middle of the night (well, 10.30pm but to me, that's the middle of the night). So she had a quick bath and DH popped her in a disposable because she'd vomed on her longies. I posted on CNT about help folding the inserts but nobody responded....

I love my Snugglepants but dd's are huge round the waist & hips but only just the right length! There is no way I could use them as day time trousers they'd look very odd. Perfect for night though......

Charlottesclan - mine were all over the place when BF. But I manged to concieve Talia while Elouise was still exclusivly breastfeeding, at just under 6 months AND was on the mini pill so don't rely on it as contraception!

JennyPenny22 · 09/02/2010 21:18

I know this is very off topic, but would be REALLY grateful if anybody could give me some advice about what to do here - its really stressing me out!

4andnotout · 10/02/2010 08:51

thebluefoxategreensocks · 10/02/2010 17:17

this thread is just tooooooo quiet - wonder who is missing or not chatting, as it seem we're fortunate to get a half dozen messages a day - when a few weeks/months back there might be pages per day!

whispers....I've finally bought an Itti Bitti! Just had to finally get a proper try of one!

mumface · 10/02/2010 17:54

Slippery slope Rachel- I predict you will want more!!
Jenny- Follow your gut instinct, other people will just have to get used to it. A fresh start might be the best thing you ever did
BOGOF on just pink BG is not fair, what about the baby boys!

octothechildherder · 10/02/2010 17:56

Hello

Sorry for not posting much - snowed under with children, NW stuff and teaching - and dh away 3 days a week.

Glad folk are liking the snugglepants - they come in small girl too Order on way aswell - but am going to order some more very soon. Lots of way as there is a new stockist in Poland and Jabula has them too. Check the measurements on them though - some people seem to want big bottomed and short legs, others slim and long - so there will be a variety

Jenny - I would move out of London - life so much nicer in the country. Trust me - villages are not boring places lol lol. I live 5 miles outside Bath and 10 miles from Chippenham - transport isn't great but the villagers, facilities, schools etc are fab and only 15 mins from M4. If we move anywhere it would be to the beach!

myjob: the person says it's jade colour, but photo looks like the pale green (is it peppermint?) - I don't know Ittis, so no idea really! But the price was good - so at least if it is horrible fit for us, I can resell without making a loss! But hoping it will be good!

4andnotout · 10/02/2010 19:25

Jade is very dark so it sounds like it could be peppermint, i still love my ittis, i rarely use anything else, might get rid of all my bbh's though and get some more stretchy bamboozles for nights instead.

ooh maybe

Is anyone going to the Excel Baby Show - I am going to be noseying around on the saturday if anyone wants to meet up.

NappyShedSal · 10/02/2010 21:15

ME!!!

LackaDAISYcal · 10/02/2010 21:32

I'm trying to keep up, but things are hectic here so not getting much of a chance to log in.

Don't worry Rachel; I only have one itti and barely use it . I reach for either pocket nappies or two parters every time.

Been stripping more wallpaper today (or trying to; not easy with two toddlers around your feet) Pretty soon this house will have bare walls in all rooms except the bedrooms. Then we will HAVE to decorate!

I should be washing the walls ready for a coat of paint tomorrow so FIL can put some shelves up for us, but I am pooped.

would love to go to the baby show, but alas too far away.

and of being close to the beach...I was brought up on the coast and it's the one thing I miss most about living in the middle of the country.
