Babybots - sorry, wasn't ignoring you on Msn - I just had laptop on for music running while I was cleaning like a mad woman till 2am! even thought I had been working at my cleaning job all day!

Babybots · 05/02/2010 10:16

Hahah i'll forgive you Jenny! Im sure we'll catch up over weekend don't worry!

Right off out to post office and going to my mums with snot monster.

bagpuss · 05/02/2010 10:35

Mumface, the CAT came through but was blank! I have managed to avert the wrap crisis for the time being now anyway. dt2 is wearing the airflows (he is bigger) and they seem to be working and dt1 is using the rikkis so I should have enough to keep using my 2 parters without buying more but thanks . I have also found two WN minki wraps that I bought in the summer before the dts were born - can't believe I forgot about them! They are very bulky looking but rather pretty and seem tighter on the leg and waist than the ME ones although the style is very similar. I was going to save them for the summer for showing off but I think they will be fine under looser clothes as well.

Rachel, those night nappies sound very creative . I ended up using size three tots for ds2 in the day time before he pt as his pockets always leaked. I wonder whether it was because of the fleece/suedecloth lining? We are going to have to use sposies when dt2 goes into hospital . I have to admit that I have no idea which ones to buy and am nervous of all the potential leakage.

Babybots, I hope your ds feels better soon. The dts colds are finally going which I am pleased about as dt1 usually has her milk and then a coughing fit follows complete with projectile vomiting over me .

4, pleased your dd is OK. Well done on no nappy purchases, you obviously have more will power than me .

Am sad to say, Nappyweb is now closed, and is likely to be on a semi perminant basis now as I just have too much on and want to spend more time with my family. Juggling various part time jobs as well as the website just isn't working well with 2 very little ones.

But, on a brighter note for you guys, I will soon be selling off all my stock . Well, will of course keep far too much for myself!

Scotia · 05/02/2010 12:10

Shame about Nappyweb Jenny, but you sound like you have too much on your plate atm. Maybe you will be able to re-open once the wee ones are a bit older

mumface · 05/02/2010 13:24

I have just had a tooth out

Bagpuss- Don't know why messages are coming blank, was just to say I have a barely used medium rikki if you need another.

Jenny- Will post your bedbug today, have to go anyway to pick up Wildchild nappies (v.excited the only thing that's got me through the morning)

50ftQueenie · 05/02/2010 13:36

Hello all. With the Itti scrunchiness are you talking the inners or the outers? My inners are always stiff and crunchy but I find stretching them out softens them up. I guess it's just where the fiber retracts when it dries. Crunchy outers, can't help there! But I did get a sticky one that I pulled and I think I tore the water proof lining. However, it accidentally got mixed back in with the rest of them and it hasn't been a problem. Oh well.

I got my Wild Child nappies today and they are SOOOOO soft and yummy. DD was compelled to rub her face into the sorbet rainbow minky.

Sorry to hear about Nappyweb closing, I hope it will be the right decision for you and if you choose to start up again, you already have a loyal customer base.

I am waiting on 7 nappies and I'm supposed to be on a ban plus I want more...... I am being so greedy.

Hi ladies - quick question if anyone can help. Do you find the bright Itti's colourfast? Amongst the pastels I bought one red and one black one, and am a bit scared to chuck them all in the washer together

Thank you

4andnotout · 05/02/2010 16:30

I wash all mine together and have never had a leak, right from day one

treedelivery · 05/02/2010 17:46

JennyPenny23 · 05/02/2010 18:11

myjob - I have a preloved one if thats anygood? Only been used a couple of times by my 2? I used all my cushie tushie stock myself couldn't resist! My main stock is Yoyoos and Coolababys as they were the only ones I had to get loads of iyswim? Also have a few lollipops etc?

Have added a big list to the for sale board, mix of basic stuff and fancy wahm and a few woolies. All stuff that has been waiting for me to sell for ages. Got this first lot on and then I will list the next lot when that has sold. These are mainly preloved.

octothechildherder · 05/02/2010 23:14

Helloooo

Ponchos are here - hooray!

Sorry to hear your news Jenny.

Myjob - glad you had good hols.

Babybots - the lanterns looked beautiful.

Busy busy here but having weekend work free for a change (honest!).

Watching weird Jaws 2

mumface · 06/02/2010 08:03

Jenny- Maybe you could put them on ebay?

My mouth is so sore this morning, I can hardly open it. Sick of soup and ready brek!
The dentist said it was so hard to get out he had to be careful not to break my jaw- and he cut my lip doing it.

Wild Child nappies are very pretty. There are loads of really long thin boosters, that all popper on top of each other in 'piggy back' They are so thick with them, the website says some people don't even use a wrap!

LackaDAISYcal · 06/02/2010 08:34

LOVE THESE

hi all, internet went down yesterday...was horrible not being able to get at my knitting patterns! I am living on ravelry at the minute, creating lots of wishlists.

Sorry about nappyweb jenny , but sounds like it is the right thing to do. Are you still going to do local advising etc? My website is on hold as well, not enough hours in the day at the minute....have had a few queries from Go Real though so that has paid off. Now I need to figure out how to stop my bumblebums email from putting everything into the spam folder as i missed a couple of emails last week

loving this little guy
