mumface - no sign of Itti Brite

mumface · 01/02/2010 21:47

Oh no Mrs Dimples!

It's dangerous ground- But check out the Wild child night and workhorse nappies at Jabula. They are litterally flying off the site Seriously posh fluff.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 01/02/2010 22:21

Mumface - I looked at those. But I thought they looked very much like muttaquins? Which I am not a great fan of. Which reminds me I must dig them out to sell them soon! lol

octothechildherder · 01/02/2010 22:31

I like the blue/red ones - spiderman I think it says. She has so many cool things in her shop - could browse for hours!

mumface · 01/02/2010 22:40

Yes the frilly legs are like Mutts but I don't mind that in a night nappy as fleece/wool will cover them rather than peeking over edge of a wrap-I hope! I have ordered 2 night nappies and 2 workhorse ones which look very Itti'ish. Not sure what boosters you get with each, so got 2 bamboo.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 02/02/2010 16:24

what a quiet day here! wonder where all the chatterboxes are!

swampster · 02/02/2010 17:40

My baby turned one today. We have been partying with small people.

mumface · 02/02/2010 18:37

Happy birthday babySwampster!

Have been out all day, and then had to walk for an hour and half in rain to fetch a fluffy parcel from Parcel force.
It's 6 pocket Swaddlebees, hope I like them as much as the AIO I have, those were out of stock everywhere as Swaddlebees have a huge backlog of orders due to moving premises, so got these instead.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 02/02/2010 20:48

ooh, happy birthday to your wee boy, swampster!

50ftQueenie · 02/02/2010 20:55

Does anyone fancy coming to help me by staging an intervention? I bought three, yes three Wild Child nappies, plus two LLS night nappies in the last few days! I also bought loads of wool. I have an addiction......

Glad to see you bought more WCs than I did Mumface. Phew. Don't feel quite so insane now.

LackaDAISYcal · 02/02/2010 21:15

quick wave to everyone and a Happy Birthday to the swamplet ....birthday weekend and poorly baby means I've been up half the nights, pinned to the sofa by a limpet all day and asleep by 7pm! We have turned a corner though and he seems to be on the mend. horrible viral thing according to the doc but there is a bit of MMR reaction going on as well; it's been a rough couple of weeks here!

lots to catch up on; hopefully tomorrow as it is our "quiet" day!

nighteeeee

mumface · 02/02/2010 21:21

Sounds stressfull Daisy-glad he is on the mend.
50ft-Which did you get?,I got amethyst/jade and whale watching and charcoal and tendril workhorses.

50ftQueenie · 02/02/2010 21:27

I got the Sugared Plum night nappy and firestorm & rainbow sorbet work horses. I intended to get ONE, just one but after I bought the firestorm the rainbow was listed and it was like a reflex action! Today I was in a diet mood so bought the night nappy to cheer myself up. The tendril was very tempting. Such a lovely shade of green.

Sorry to hear about so many sickly babies. Hope they all get better soon.

bagpuss · 03/02/2010 10:56

Morning everyone, and belated happy birthday to baby swampster .

Spent most of yesterday cleaning and washing so having a quiet one today - must go and have a look at these new night nappies in a moment .

We have a date for dt2's catheter - 16th Feb. He has a cold though so just got to make sure that it goes before then!

Daisy, that sounds very stressful, glad he is getting better now.

Mumface, we had a swaddlebees pocket for ds2 which I loved for the trim fit but could never get it to not leak on him. I have kept it back though and will probably buy another for the dts as I have some inserts already.

mumface · 03/02/2010 12:23

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 03/02/2010 20:36

Just a quick check in as I am exhusted. Been working since 8.30 am and just got in - I had one hour sleep last night and I don't know how I made in through the day! Praying Talia sleeps tonight.

She has eaten some black olives today and drunk a little bit of prune juice - but much prefers water. Hoping she will be able to poo properly in the morning. Bought some dried (ready soaked) apricots last night as I remember somebody on here recomended them - what do I do with them? They are ready soaked but by the feel of them in the pack, I don't think she could eat them as they were - no teeth and feel like they would be very chewy?

Mumface - off to check out your for sale thread before bed...

mumface · 03/02/2010 21:21

Jenny have replied on other thread about another I have

thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/02/2010 23:06

This thread seems nearly dead - hardly anyone is talking! Guess everyone is busy with real life, or buying nappies!

Benjamin is using the toilet several times a day at the moment (though still plenty of times when he's not) so perhaps potty training isn't too far off! And I can be happy about potty training, as no shortage of need for cloth nappies with Clement not quite 10 months!

Scotia · 03/02/2010 23:15

Yes very quiet on here just now...

Have sold a few nappies and replaced them with yarn from Luscious Little Somethings yarn club, 4 WNSS, 2 Dunk n Fluff nappies in a CNT co-op and a pre-loved Dunk n Fluff from kmummy. Got loads of lovely fluffy post to come over the next few weeks - am skint again now though

I can't decide what to do about night nappies. Kerr has always been a terrible sleeper so I started using disposables at night until we got his sleeping sorted out. He's slept through every night for a week now, so what do I do? Back to cloth or wait for the warmer nights? Can't make up my mind really...
