Morning - just got photographic work through for the new product - and they are fab - can't wait for the new photos of the ponchos.

Bagpuss - better news re heart op - hope it goes well

MrsD - lol re scooby doo

Myjob - have fab holiday

At Stan's golf lesson - not much battery of laptop and tennis is on!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 31/01/2010 12:07

bagpus - Big hugs about DS. Must be so stressful. My BIL had heart surgery as a baby and has just had it re-done last year (in his early 30s) and although it was scary going in for open heart surgery (his was quite complex I think), he said it was no where near as bad as he thought and was back home in no time dying to get back to work. Anyway, I know that is not the same thing or anything but just thought I would share that with you! lol.
And I agree with you about fleece PJs - I wear my fleece PJ bottoms all the time at home, and just change into Jeans if I have to pop out . I love them! Just cheapy ones from Primark.

Could never wear anything with feet sewn in though as I like cold feet! lol. Can't stand socks in bed!

Hope this is OK to post this here. Its a website where you can click to donate to chrities, but it doesn't cost you anything, as the advertisers on the site pay which covers everything. It litterally takes about 10 seconds and helps some great causes. The RSPCA one is apparently struggling to meet the min amount of clicks. I clicked each charity at least once. One click on the rspca was 6 tins of food!
Anyway, just thought I would pass on the link as I thought it was a great idea.

swampster · 31/01/2010 15:16

Bagpuss, can you send me an email please? I would like to ask you something. swampster at rocketmail dot com

bagpuss · 31/01/2010 16:04

Swampster, have just done

Thanks Jenny, myjob and Octo.

Jenny, that's good to know about your BIL. I hadn't realised that the sleepsuit things had feet! Would make the wearer look like George Dawes .

Mmm, WN have their OS Northern Lights available now .

mumface · 31/01/2010 19:46

Bagpuss- needs must! Who is george Dawes?? must google

Hah kids were great, kids daddy great, had a great night
have 6!! swadlebees pull ups on way from Bumfluff Tried and love them, perfect for starting nursery, they routinely take them loo every hour so wanted a proper nappy but to pull up and downas he is not properly trained at all (it seems I am doing all the work!!!)
Am I mad wanting to sell watermelon bedbug and blue/brown one??!! I get bored easily!

4andnotout · 31/01/2010 20:27

Evening all

Another hectic day in the 4andnotout household, I was so tempted to stay in bed and read when I finished feeding Tilly-Grace!

Got to take Tilly-Grace to the hospital tommorow about her lack of weight gain Really quite nervous (have had a few tears over it whilst hiding in the bathroom)

aaawwwww 4 - will be okay (((hugs)))

Scotia · 31/01/2010 23:38

PMSL at vision of George Dawes

4, am sure she's fine, just petite like her mummy.

Bagpuss, hope all goes well with dt2's heart op and no more surgery til he's much older.

Jenny, happy belated birthday.

Myjob, have a nice break

Octo, have fixed K's fleece PP hat, looks much better now and I'll take photos tomorrow.

Mumface, sounds like you enjoyed the party.

Hi Swampster, and any lurkers today

bagpuss · 01/02/2010 10:25

4 - good luck for today. I'm sure dd4 will be just fine .

mumface - George Dawes is a character from Shooting Stars with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer and is played by Matt Lucas. He wears a babygrow and plays the drums whilst keeping score . Tis a few years ago but the bbc did bring it back quite recently! Good luck with the potty training. We used bright bots with ds2 but I know what you mean, they are a bit rubbish unless your child is at the point where they know what they are doing and has the occasional dribble on the way to the toilet. Have you tried the tots pants? I saw some on a website recently and thought they looked nice. There is so much more nice PT fluff out there than there was two and a half years ago so maybe when the dts train in a few years I won't have quite such bad fluff withdrawal this time .

mumface · 01/02/2010 10:46

Yes have tried the Totsbots ones, quite like them, nice slim fit, good for catching a wee but not a poo. Saw them on the Tots ebay shop cheap too.

mumface · 01/02/2010 11:02

Happy birthday Daisy!

Connors photo is going to be used on Jabula's website

MrsDimples · 01/02/2010 11:10

Jenny, yes I am

way to go Connor - is it up yet?

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 01/02/2010 11:11

Just got my minki yoyos through the post from UKPL. Didn't realise quite how boyish 2 of them were! lol. Oh well, guess it doesn't really matter. Elouise loves the one with the mermaid on though. Also hadn't realised they needed inserts too, but thats my fault not looking them up properly, just saw them listed preloved and went for them as I knew I was about to start toilet training. Was originally going to start today but DH didn't take T out in the end so with either do it tomorrow or wait till next week. TBH I think DH would be too worried about the carpets to do it while he is here! lol. The carpets are awful anyway, but I know he would hate to know she had weed on the carpet.

CharlottesClan · 01/02/2010 11:20

do they fit then jen, brilliant! mine are all animal prints.
DD pt on her own in pants so we didnt need to use them afterall. her creche wont use cloth nappies so i have ended up having to buy pampers feel and learn

which of the training pants are the best guys? need them to hold wee really, they are for creche as shes not settled enough there she keeps having accidents.

mumface · 01/02/2010 11:32

I have tried most of the tarining pants now and have found Imse Vimse and Blueberries best for big/multiple accidents.
Swaddlebees pockets/AIO are a really neat reliable pull up proper nappy. I don't like my fleece minki yoyo's I don't like the shape and they are hard to stuff. Pocket bots are good too. They are tiny but I wouldn't use instead of a nappy, just the odd accident.

octothechildherder · 01/02/2010 11:33

I use kushies bright trainer pants - hate other kushies products but these do work - absorbent and waterproof. I have some left over from ds2 - ds3 quite happy in pants but am keeping for car journeys! Jabula has imse vimse ones which are nice.

Busy working from home - ds2 poorly.

CharlottesClan · 01/02/2010 11:34

Imse Vimse dont wick do they? i read somewhere they have a tendency to wick onto clothing because they are cotton.

mumface · 01/02/2010 11:39

I have not had any wicking but I have the fox-fibre version which is like velour, I suppose you would get some degree of wicking though.

mumface · 01/02/2010 11:58

MrsDimples - Connors photo not up yet. Any sign of your Itti Bitti brite yet?

LittlePants · 01/02/2010 12:32

Sorry! Been AWOL for ages! Went away, and then the phone went down, so had no broadband for a while! Anyway, I'm back, and will catch up on all this thread when I have a few free hours hee-hee - some hope! Haven't even looked at the thread yet, but I will I promise!!!

beautifulgirls · 01/02/2010 13:12
