Great news Tree.

Hope you are okay Scotia x

Very happy Joe won X factor - he was fab. Thought the christmas song by george michael was quite odd!

Flongies should be here v v soon - was expecting them last week so hoping will be in next couple of days. Everything else coming on 23rd.

DH in newcastle for next two days... arggh!

mumFrostyface · 13/12/2009 23:31

Octo, thought of a use for one of your MF sandwich bags today, was off out, needed a small bag to put a baby spoon and little pot of babyfood in to keep it clean and put dirty ones back in afterwards. Do you think a small size babyfood jar, spoon and maybe a bib would fit in them?

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 14/12/2009 00:26

Wow well done tree!

Octo, I hadn't realised you were making the upcycled longies yourself! Well done they look good! I am tempted myself but too skint unfortunatly.

AND I have a feeling a camping addiction is starting

Well Elouise has been crying since 9pm on and off, wont go to bed and isn't showing any signs of going anytime soon . We were in bed cuddling but DH needs to get up at 6am and she was still crying in bed with me so we have now come back down . She is now watching TV. Think she has some bad teething pain, but wont take painkillers

Morning all, I'm very I'll this morning. Dp should be taking this afternoon off as I can't cope, my head is pounding I have d&v too

Babybots · 14/12/2009 07:52

Morning all,

Oh no 4 - Poor you d&v not good!
Scotia - Still thinking of you ((())))
Jenny - hope you got some sleep.

and Tree WOW!!! Really pleased for you and fingers crossed for the coming weeks!

Yey for Xfactor results - V pleased with that!
and DS has a cold again - Why do i feel like hes had a constant cold since September!

Well our xmas tree is up now and being wrecked by either Ds or Puppy every 5 mins. Most of the presents were brought in one swift attack over the weekend so we are almost sorted for now. Now i just have to get myself in the xmas mood this week!!

Right off to watch GMTV and pack up parcels.

NappyShedSal · 14/12/2009 07:54

I don' think Octo is making the longies herself!!

Scotia - Thinking of you loads. Nice that you are communicating with your cousins more. I'm in a similar-ish situation. My mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour in January and we have had the most horrible horrible year (and next years will be too), but the one good thing about it, is taht me and my sister - who never used to be very close - have become much closer and speak several times a week on the phone.

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 09:27

4 - poor you - hope you feel better soon x

Sal - are you going up to your mum's for christmas?

Jenny - I can't make anything unless it involves glue, paper, scissors, paint, glitter, cardboard or water - sewing and cooking are my greatest downfalls!

Child free day - need to do work on website but want to see if Joe is on tv this morning!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 14/12/2009 09:30

It says on the nappy wardrobe website:
"This is a pair of baby pants (hand-made by me) from an upcycled sweater." and then in the same discription:
"All of our sweater pants are hand made by me and therefore totally unique and one of a kind."

That is just in one discription but they all seem to say it?

Is vicki not making them then? I am a bit confused! LOL

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 14/12/2009 09:31

sorry x post with octo there!

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 09:32

Duh - thought had changed them to say Ashley - must have missed a few! Will go through and check them all - another job on the list!! Touched you think I am talented though

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 14/12/2009 09:53

LOL.

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 10:01

Job done! Now just need to upload all the sandwich bags and fleece stuff. Yes - think they would fit in a small bowl and spoon.

NappyShedSal · 14/12/2009 10:06

I obviously know Vicki very well!!! Not for a nanosecond did I think that she had hand-made those longies!!!!! Sorry!

Not going to my mums - she's coming here. It's a bitter-sweet thing really. We have invited different sets of grandparents here for christmas on numerous occasions and none of them have ever come - too far, their house is bigger, we like to stay at home at christmas, can't leave the cats. So we always trudge half way round the country - Kent, Glos, Lake Distict and Northumberland, or stay at home on our own. This year my mum has realised that she wouldn't be able to cope with doing christmas so is coming to ours. I am absolutely delighted that they are coming and I get to do a proper christmas and all the entertaining, but a bit sad to think of the reason of why she's coming to us. (And that it will probably be our last )

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 10:14

Oh no Sally - hope it is a very special one. Atleast you will have control over what happens at home and the girls will love being at home rather than travelling.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 14/12/2009 11:01

Lol. I didn't think Octo did as she hadn't said so on here and I would have expected months of chat about it if she was doing all that. BUT when I read it on the site I just assumed it was true! lol

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 12:03

Sandwich bags are up - phew! May need to place another order already ... Wouldn't it be great if you could have bags that grew sandwiches inside them so you didn't have to make them - very random thought! I think that is beyond even me!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 14/12/2009 12:14

octo.

I should be doing housework but after no sleep and spending all morning dealing with dd2 screaming the place down and refusing to sleep, I am struggling to find the motivation!

Last lot of nappies on a strip wash.

Got a large bundle of nappies very cheap yesterday at the car boot, I didn't know what was in it at the time but was a bargain so thought I would get it and sort through what I want. There were about 6 FB pockets I will keep, and some newborn nappies for my sister due in feb and the rest I can hopefully sell on very cheaply. They STINK though so need a good strip wash first! All quite well used so won't sell for much. But will be good to finally try FB. As they are sized they are something I have never bothered trying until now.

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 12:26

We use FB all the time and then two parters at night. DH likes them more than any of the others.

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 13:33

where is the postman and where are my fleece goodies? ((((grump)))) They are def in UK (((grump)))) Come on postie!

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 14:34

Argghhhh no parcel! grrrr brrrr grrrr brrrr

Just my oneline tax info grrrrr brrrrr

Grumpy grizzly bear!

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 14:35

Just thought would post again as talking to myself quite therapeutic!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 14/12/2009 14:40

DD2 has really constipated (I know thats probably not how you spell it but can't work it out lol). She is in loads of pain with it and wont stop screaming when it comes (Its coming and going and she gets a tiny bit out at a time). Feel so sorry for her. She has jabs tomorrow as well. Poor bubba

swampster · 14/12/2009 15:10

Jenny, have a chat to GP about constipation - it can become an issue really quickly. Lactulose can help.

Octohohohoho · 14/12/2009 15:14

I have done my tax return yeeaahhh!!!
