Had a reply from Ittibitti, seems it got missed off invoice and so wasn't packed. You'd have thought the packer might wonder why there was only 5 when offer is 6!

Scotia · 09/12/2009 11:38

Hi all, my nanna is still hanging on - God knows how. She is in a very deep sleep and not taking any fluids at all now. Thanks to everyone for the kind words, it really does help.

I didn't get much sleep last night - as soon as my head hit the pillow, K woke up! He was up 4 times between then and 7am, little monkey. It gave me something else to think about though rather than waiting for the phone to ring, so it's not all bad.

scotia: hugs and thinking of you at this difficult time! x

myjob: oh dear, that must have been terribly scary! I always worry what Benjamin will get up to next with all his antics! He seems to think it's a brilliant idea to put any sort of bags/plastic over his head! So I always have to be very sure to make sure they're all hidden away where he can't get to them!

mumFrostyface · 09/12/2009 12:12

OMG Myjob how scary- for you and him. My eldest keeps nicking my dressing gown cord to tie round things and I keep trying to explain how easy accidents can happen! Thank goodness you were on the ball.

Scariest thing ever for me was when Elliot choked on a half of a grape. He was 3 and he stopped breathing. The slowest 5 seconds of my life thumping his back and it flew out.

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 09/12/2009 16:22

Phew my lounge/diner is now decorated and everything back to where it should be, will be able to get the xmas decs down friday night now

Scotia-((hugs))

Poor dd2 i had told her she could stay at school all day today thinking it was the school xmas dinner, but i was a day early the school receptionist rang me so i had to pick dd2 up at 12.15 She can stay all day tommorow though

kmummy · 09/12/2009 20:28

Poor N is it something she eats or teething that's making her poo burn?

Had a lovely hot bath and hair wash so relaxing in my nighty now

myjob; scary times .
bumble has had a couple of bad choking incidents, to the point that I stopped strapping him in his highchair as the last time I couldn't get him out.

poor DS kmummy; I hope he is on the mend soon.

Scotia, sending peaceful thoughts to your nana.

love the name mumface, but I am envisaging a mummy with a very unamused look on her face at her children's silly antics...oh, no, that's just me

bumble was up half the bloody night last with a temperature and being really grizzly. Nothing seems to be wrong with him today other than tiredness and he is cutting his eye teeth and his mouth is sore. That wouldn't cause a temperature though, would it?

Off to bed in my (finally dry!) wooly soaker. Not sure how well lanolized it is, so wish us luck...new photos on profile!

Octo, I still need to pay you for the flongies and the ME wraps . Will get on that tomorrow.

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 09/12/2009 21:01

Teething can give temps I believe Daisy. Throw in the Calpol. Poor Bumble.

Horrible stuff going about though, as I well know. DH plumbing in new washer as we speak. BedBug goes on tonight!! HUrrah!
Glad your scary incident was ok myjob.

How is ds kmummy?

Had a cnt accident. £6 for an itti. Whatyagonnado? Not tell anyone that's what!

Hope you are ok Scotia. x

Nappy tabs crossed that dd makes her nativity tomorrow She still isn't right.

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 09/12/2009 21:15

I echo Tree, mine usually gets the temperatures just before they start to cut their teeths like a warning signal

Nice xmas name btw tree, and did you buy (yay) or sell the itti for £6?

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 09/12/2009 21:19

Buy

How much does that rock? £8.50 posted, so P&P was a bit, but all good. Cream too, which I really wanted.

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 09/12/2009 21:28

Good price I sold all mine for £9 each inc recorded delivery and got rid f them all so my nappy stash is much thinner now!

kmummy · 09/12/2009 21:31

I agree temperature can be a sign of teeth, did think this was what DS may of had at first but evidently not

I know it isnt right to give babies antibiotics unless necesarry but just wish the doctor had listened monday, he was so unwell but was told to wait another 48hrs even though hed been poorly since last week....he was weighed today and hes lost a whole lb in a week, i feel awful that i didnt try harder, and my poor baby has been in pain, i know hes being treated now and thats good, just feel so guilty i didnt kick up a fuss then

This is the first night he hasnt woken up after going down for the night, now im praying he doesnt vomit for the first time in the night this week either....

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 09/12/2009 21:33

Octo-Have been eyeing up your flickr (oo-er) and im feeling the need for 2 of the sandwich bags, how much will they be and when will they be available?

TheTwelveDAISYofChristmas · 09/12/2009 21:47

Aw kmummy, don't feel bad about it; we do what we do based on the advice we get at the time, and babies can go downhill pretty quickly, so he may not have been as bad as you think on Monday. Re the weightloss, he'll pile it all back on quickly enough once he is well and eating again.

It would have been rude not to buy the itti at that price tree

I've eaten all my advent calendar chocolate so will have to tell DS1 that I'll have mine "later" to avoid detection

Octohohohoho · 09/12/2009 23:46

Hello - have read quickly - hope Scotia is okay.

Sandwich bags will arrive on 23rd Dec so will be here for next term. Will email you.

Need sleep!

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 10/12/2009 07:00
