Oh tree - yak day for you too

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 08/12/2009 22:19

Oh and Rachel - my need to have every nappy has lend me to a house overtaken by nappies, and not because of nappyweb, I probably have more of MY nappies than of stock and I am now really regretting it.

My nappies are smelly AGAIN! I switched to Ariel gel so I could just use a small amount and its meant to be the best one at getting things clean. It did definatly get them cleaner. BUT I am now having wee smells today . I always do at least one or 2 extra rinses and often do a quick wash or something after the main cycle. Have got some powder and am going to use that after I have stripped them AGAIN.

Am I the only one who has found lollipop Micros prone to build up/smells? I know somebody mentioned MF being prone to it so maybe thats why?

TheTwelveDAISYofChristmas · 08/12/2009 22:27

crap I missed cheap wetbags

bumble is definately on the move so I haven't had a chance to sit down as I'm forever getting him out of difficult situations, made worse by the fact that an upright baby can apparently wriggle into smaller spaces than a crawling one

I've just been catching up with a few threads on CNT (never have time to post on there though) and loving the baby of the year photos. In the interests of impartiality thoug, I couldn't possibly vote for any one of the gorgeous MN babies . I wish I'd seen that comp sooner though, as bumble would have been sure to win

Octo, thank you lovely for selling me the rikkis....I have save a pound, but every little helps

tree, I hope things improve for you all tomorrow.

babybots, just visited your site for the first time in ages; looking good

sorry, can't keep up

Octohohohoho · 08/12/2009 22:43

Daisy - Motherease have just put their prices up - covers now over £9 each LMK if you want anymore - esp air rikas. Have put the snugglepants up tonight - taken ages and ages - Pumpkin Pants next... Should be here soon ...

Check out these too - washable sandwich bags www.flickr.com/photos/44375672@N07/sets/72157622838744273/ - think there are about 10 patterns avaialble - they are being made bigger to accomodate british bread lol

One person hasn't claimed their bags yet after emailing me - so may have a small lava and medium almond sparrows - if don't hear from them soon will let you know. My husband thinks I should do mini impromptu sales! Don't think he realised how bombarded I was!

treedelivery · 08/12/2009 22:50

Geat name Octo!

Harriet went off with her pink nappy bag for an airing with nanna today. It was perfect!

I agree again! Also the secret santa on there which I didn't do - some of those nappies and outfits must have cost a fortune.

Scotia · 08/12/2009 22:59

I agree too about the CNT comps

Sorry not been around much, just had a phone call about my nanna. She's deteriorated drastically now and not expected to last the night. Can you hold my hand guys?

Scotia · 08/12/2009 23:00

God yes! The SS stuff must have cost a fortune!

Oh no scotia

Octohohohoho · 08/12/2009 23:07

Do you live nearby?

TheTwelveDAISYofChristmas · 08/12/2009 23:14

that is poor about voting for one's friends....can it be a bit cleaky then, over there? As someone who has ooooh about six posts under her belt, no doubt I'd have been ignored. Will now go and vote for all the MN babies, if multiple votes are allowed!

OMG tree ; just realised that you are still without a washer, and with D&V to contend with...Much hugs lovely!

another lanolising Q.....is it normal for things to take DAAAAAAYs to dry? Is this because of the lanolin, or just because it's hand washed wool (been a long time since I had anything wool that needed handwashing!)

Octo....is that over £9 trade? and air rikas??? do you mean the rikkis or the airflow?

I shamelessly begged DH to buy me a bottle of wine this evening, in payment for getting some clutter sorted out but promised not to drink it all in one go ! To be fair, there is still an inch in the bottom of the bottle

TheTwelveDAISYofChristmas · 08/12/2009 23:16

Oh god, scotia, crass cross posts.

Soo sorry about your nana . virtual hand holding coming right at you.

treedelivery · 08/12/2009 23:22

Oh Scotia. Bless her.

Pictures on facebook, which seems a silly concern right now. Hang in there scotia ((((hugs))))

Octohohohoho · 08/12/2009 23:24

Daisy - RRP now £9 and £9.25 for prints on both rikki and air rika.

Octohohohoho · 08/12/2009 23:25

Has Scotia gone? Went through this with DHs mum - very sad.

Scotia · 08/12/2009 23:28

I'm here Octo, just trying to distract myself with FB and stuff. You are all so kind, I'm really touched x

treedelivery · 08/12/2009 23:30

Bless you scotia. Will you stay up, is she far away?

TheTwelveDAISYofChristmas · 08/12/2009 23:30

Octo...just saw the gap stripeys on FB and had a look on the site. The price is coming up as zero so essentially "free" in your checkout!
