Hello everyone.

No nappy news, except that Harriet has poo's in nearly every nappy we own!

Are Hollow Oak and Holdens Landing good do we think? I've seen some in auction and am wondering, but its a few £££ so don't want them to be really wrong for us.

Hard water and line drying and all that! They are £16 for Hollow Oak nappy and wrap, and the landings.

Is it any of us selling?

Are there nappy sites on FB? I'm new to facebook, but excited that blueberry might have a page!

Tree - Hollow Oak and Holden's Landing are good and very expensive to buy new (especially HO), sp £16 seems reasonable to me. They are usually both obv inner so stay nice and soft, although we don't have particularly hard water.

drlove - have you contacted the shop you bought the BBSS from re. the missing popper?

treedelivery · 09/08/2009 22:03

Thanks - I think i'll bid and hope for the best

LOOK AT THESE!!!

i need a bank loan

swampster · 09/08/2009 22:10

They are quite Ittish, no? Love the choc with green dots. But I think the name is vomitacious.

treedelivery · 09/08/2009 22:17

Bit sicky name maybe.

But am liking clooud. And also giraffe, which is unusual for me. And all the spotty ones. And so on....

I don't see how they are one size - although I can see how a medium itti could be, if it were just a bit higher in the rise and had more range at the waist.

So maybe this is where this company got their inspiration - bit of a tweak and you have a one size itti-like nappy.

I really want to try one..........

swampster · 09/08/2009 22:25

I imagine they fold down like Greenkids but fasten with poppers instead of velcro.

Greenkids work really well like that.

treedelivery · 09/08/2009 22:31

Is it wrong I don't have a GreenKids?

treedelivery · 09/08/2009 22:32

drool

4andnotout · 09/08/2009 22:34

Ohh i like those print cushie thingies, althought the name was thought up by a simpering idiot imho

swampster · 09/08/2009 22:42

I hear Greenkids Funtimes aren't as reliable as Minkytimes or Anytimes but I only have Minkytimes and Anytimes. I don't love them but I like them a lot.

I like the look of these.

JennyPenny22 · 09/08/2009 22:53

TBH even if somebody said they would do it for you, it is going to end up costing up to £2 postage each way and might not be worth it? Is it still functional?

I found somebody else in RL who uses real nappies! YAY!

JennyPenny22 · 09/08/2009 22:54

Ignore me - major cross post where I forgot to press submit for a long time! .

off to read the last page!

Oh tree I love those nappies! I want one!

I had green kids and liked them but just don't get on with pockets. Going to list a large UD pocket as soon as I get round to it. Gutted as its gorgeous but just don't get on with it. Although I did get some new "super inserts" from UD yesterday that might work better.

treedelivery · 09/08/2009 23:16

Anyone tried Issy Bear?

I seem to be a pocket queen, although since I tidied the stash [it's still sorted into a rainbow I am using the nappy+wraps much more. I made them all up and I'd forgotten about lots of lovely wraps. So thats good, the whole stash feels refreshed.

Not half as refreshed as it would with some new nappies though! One of these might be a good place to start.

I have a pic of the stash too, will upload asap. Though not complete, some are in the wash.

drlove8 · 09/08/2009 23:41

BARON -CONKER ! where are you girl? ..... ive just had an e-mail back from the fabulouse Hiliary from pocket bots. She is delighted to be able to repair /covert your poppers nappies- She told me that she didnt think about doing it as a service , but has done it in the past as favours....but is now going to expand the pocket bots to include nappy fixing! ..... you can email hiliary via the site....

drlove8 · 09/08/2009 23:44

sorry .... for some reason my links do not work .... the site is http:pocket-bots.com/

drlove8 · 09/08/2009 23:47

oh poo ! its still not working! . MN towers ????? why dont my links work anymore?????.
at least my nappies are still working ok! - still never had a leak ! yay

BaronConker · 10/08/2009 08:38

Oh. My. God.

I don't come on here for what, maybe 10 hours - a girl's gotta sleep sometime - and I come back and there are links to the most completely droolsome nappies and the hope of a popper repair for my beloved BBOS!

drlove - you need to tell me how much it costs you if you do it. My missing popper is on the rise and I reallly, really don't need it, as Jamie is my last baby and he is on the full-size setting. It just sort of niggles at me!

I really, really want a cushie tushie. In more ways than one...

mistermoo · 10/08/2009 08:57

hello, I am cheeks and cherries, hope I'm not breaking any rules to say this...but just wanted to reply re. the Cushie Tushies question...
Yes, - to make them smaller they fold over at the front, and then popper, like the GK (and Issy Bear!) nappies only popper not velcro!

ilovemydogandmrobama · 10/08/2009 09:00

Somehow feel more inclined to buy a brand of nappies after I get a free sample....

BaronConker · 10/08/2009 09:10
