Yay Jenny! You won!

JennyPenny22 · 08/08/2009 17:57

Tree - I think you are right on the itti score. The large looks like it would fit Talia - not Elouise. But realisically the small and mediums are fine for Talia and Elouise has plenty of room in the large - even though my inital thoughts were that the large looked far too small.

In fact - if you hold the large itti against my small UDDN - the small UD is actually slightly bigger - yet that is only just managing to still fit on Talia - only 1-2 wears left.

I am going to take the girls to be weighed this week. I HATE doing it but Elouise hasn't eaten for weeks - since before she had swine flu. She will occasionally have a bite or 2 of what we have but won't even consider having her own meal. And she was only on the 9th percentile before she stopped eating.

Anyway - need to work out what nappies to put Talia in when I get her weighed! I am thinking ittis and the BP? (Not at once obviously but she goes through lots of nappies !)

Can everybody keep an eye out for large UD wraps for me please? Girly ones?

Big breakthough - I have converted all 3 of my sisters to cloth! None of them have babies yet but one is pregnant and another is planning on having one soon. But all 3 of them have now said they will probably use cloth when they have their babies!

Jenny - well done on converting!!

treedelivery · 08/08/2009 18:15

Oh God when you get back octo - nay rush lass.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 08/08/2009 18:18

Tree - I agree on the Ittis. I have got a couple of large for DS (12 months and 22-ish lbs), and they are done up almost as tight as they will go so will last for ages yet.
When I first looked at them though I thought they were going to be too small for him.

JennyPenny22 · 08/08/2009 19:07

WIll Cat you Octo!

JennyPenny22 · 08/08/2009 20:10

I am going to sell Talias UD wrap that came today as its not big enough! It JUST about fits over a day nappy but the large fits much better!

mumface · 08/08/2009 20:36

Have put some photos on profile.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 08/08/2009 21:30

All the recent talk of Berry Plush nappies, I decided I had to try one! So I've treated myself Clement to a medium dalmation one (secondhand, of course!). I've been being a good girl and not buying any nappies but rather shopping for nappies for my sister's little girl (2 weeks younger than Clement) and also buying some girly wraps for her! So felt I really needed to buy something that I could keep myself! LOL
...........Just hope I like it better than Ittis!

twoclimbingboys · 08/08/2009 21:43

Hello All!

4andnotout · 08/08/2009 21:46

Octo can i pay you on thursday for the pink boho bag? Do you know if you will be getting any of the medium and smalls in pink boho?

JennyPenny22 · 09/08/2009 01:25
Blush
Octothechildherder · 09/08/2009 12:33

Manic moment over - just need to pack and eat before we head off. There aren't any more pink boho - only the clementine - image now on site.

I really liked my berryplush - had a green tie dye one.

Have a fluffy few days - wish me luck on M4, M5 and M6 with 3 kids ....!!

yummyspottyblueberry · 09/08/2009 13:20

Can anyone point me in the direction of Octo's website? If allowed of course

Good choice rachelinscotland. I've gone for Jag-waaarrrr. DS1's choice and he's done well I think!

JennyPenny22 · 09/08/2009 14:13

If you click on Octos username her profile comes up with the website on!

We have used a few disposables this week while catching up with washing after all the rain (and using up the sposies that were almost outgrown. Our Dustbin STINKS!!! And it has maggots on it [boak] IT is gross. Not sure if the maggots could possible be nappy related but we have never had a problem before. Our wheelie bins are only emptied every 2 weeks and it really is gross . Glad I use washables 95% of the time!

BaronConker · 09/08/2009 18:11

Maggots totally are nappy related. Apparently it helps if you bag them, but then you're just adding another layer of stuff to the landfill, so it's a tricky one! Everyone I know who uses disposables seems to have a maggot problem in summer, partly I think due to the fact that we have a fortnightly rubbish collection (gives the flies longer to lay eggs in all the poo!) We've never had any maggots and I smugly like to think it's due to our fluffiness.

ilovemydogandmrobama · 09/08/2009 18:14

But even if one uses disposables, the poo is supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

BaronConker · 09/08/2009 18:45

You can't always get it all off, though, can you? Jamie does horrible splatty poos and only a 'selection' of it ever lands on the liner! The rest I end up scraping off with loo roll, sluicing off with the shower etc. V unpleasant.

JennyPenny22 · 09/08/2009 20:17

Octo - did you get my cat with my details for the pop and grow (disclaimer - I won this nappy - we are not buying/selling! )

I hate sundays - no fluffy post!

drlove8 · 09/08/2009 20:26

IVE HAD A BLUEBERRY DISASTER! - - the popper has come off my BBSS pink/lavender dots. ..... wwwwaaaaahhhh ! can anybody help? where do i get a new popper from? .... it was bought new in july ...... am away to cry into my fluff now

BaronConker · 09/08/2009 20:40

drlove8 I don't know, sorry, but if you do find out, can you tell me? I bought a BBOS with a missing popper for bargain knock-down price, and would LOVE to replace the popper. I hate imperfection!

swampster · 09/08/2009 20:58

You need to cosy up to the WAHMs on CNA, drlove, some of them must have popper machines. Or order something from a nice, smallish company like Weenotions then cheekily ask if you can send your BBSS in for repairs.

Disclaimer: I have not tried this.

drlove8 · 09/08/2009 21:08

well i tried to message blueberry via the facebook site, but so far ive had no joy..... but there hasnt been any posts from the blueberry HQ today so fingers crossed! x
