Baron - your DS3 sounds really funny! I even find it really easy having 1 compared to the 2.

mmm the thought of pizza express is making me really hungry!

mumface · 21/08/2009 16:16

I'm not getting my moo itti anymore.Waited too long now. Decided to go for ivory instead.
(am impatient, thats what puts me off custom orders!)
Lewis has decided he wants to try sitting on loo now, will soon have only one in fluff.
But am saving for blueberry training pants.I will just put them on him when in town/car journey/hot days to show off.
He had an itti on for 30 mins today & it leaked. Was in Tescos so helped myself to one of their free nappies in changing room.
Then walked home 45min in torrential rain.Half of shopping in basket soaked.

BaronConker · 21/08/2009 16:39

mumface I am really tempted by the blueberry training pants too! But I already have several pairs of TPs and I never use them! Actually, I do put the Bambino Mio ones on DS1 (he's 6!) when we camp, he wets the bed very occassionally and it would be a nightmare in a tent as he'd get so cold and changing the bed etc almost impossible in the middle of the night in a tent. They're a really big size and they soak up a fair bit of wee so they're ideal, and they're an extra layer to keep his bum warm so he doesn't make a fuss. Imse Vimse ones are brilliant, put them on DS2 for long car journeys if he's likely to nod off. They're really absorbent, soak up a big sleeping-wee very effectively!

2CB - Pizza Express was yummy. So impressed by their kids' menu, and because DS3 is so little and you get so much food in a kid's meal I could eat quite a lot of it myself, while pretending to be healthy with a nicoise salad! Jamie loved his bambuccino!! Am out for a curry tonight, too, so am having a fab day of no cooking or preparing meals!! This is the life, maybe I could persuade MIL to keep them for a few more days?!!

twoclimbingboys · 21/08/2009 16:50

jeeny - weefywoo had added a few more ittis for sale on cnt too. Spotted ones in a few colours.

mumface · 21/08/2009 16:55

I bought a pair of Totsbots training pants at the baby show & they are not particuarly absorbent. The only thing that puts me off the blueberries(apart from the price) is that some have said their is a an inside seam that looks uncomfy.

newspaperdelivery · 21/08/2009 16:55

I've bought a puddlekins. Am excited!
Resisted the itti's

Got the soap thingies, and also some wooly wash and skin cream for big sis. From bibs and bobs. Am really excited to smell the wooly wash. in my defense H has lots cashmere [lucky child] and I go through alot of wool wash. Looking very forward to it.

Such a busy day!!

newspaperdelivery · 21/08/2009 16:57

Welcome Skimble! Thank you for telling us about your babies, and your precious angel.

It's a lovely thread, but prepare to be finacially challenged

JennyPenny22 · 21/08/2009 17:20

I am having a bad day. I am tempted to put Elouise to bed already. I know I might regret it! She is so tired, refused to have a nap, is having tantrums over everything and I really don't feel well. I Have a splitting headache and keep feeling sick. She is now running round naked after a bath! lol. Talia has been fine but I am having trouble getting her to sleep now. Once we go to bed she is fine but is during the day and evening. My fault for getting her in the habit of letting her get used to sleeping in the vibro chair really.

I think my website will have to wait for another day

newspaperdelivery · 21/08/2009 17:48

Can you help?

SkimbleMcSkimble · 21/08/2009 18:35

Phew finally home from work, now to start real work!!

Thanks for all the welcomes folks, seems much friendlier here then some of the other forums I have ventured onto!!

Going to go and read through what i have missed and hopefully find the time to post some more.

rusmum · 21/08/2009 19:21

Hi skimble and welcome- i have 2 DD Ruby is 5 and Rose in just 1- use 2 parters bamboo sandys, geobel bamboo and little lambs with airflows

twoclimbingboys · 21/08/2009 19:52

tree - I can't help but you'll just HAVE to post photos of you all it sounds fab!

Octothechildherder · 21/08/2009 22:47

turquoise pop n gro!!?? I would use a white sheet and tie it round waist!

newspaperdelivery · 21/08/2009 22:58

Octo - good idea but she's 4.9!

DD2 is appearing as BamBam in a leopard print nappy [thank you Jenny] and brown tshirt. Hopefully she wont mind being a drag baby . But that's a bril idea! I will have that as the back up fancy dress for when she needs a change of clothes due to puke/poo explosions! She can have a quick change from BamBam to Pebbles.

JennyPenny22 · 21/08/2009 23:16

Sorry I haven't been around much today. Having a really bad day today .

I am off to bed now to HOPEFULLY get some sleep - well after the nappies go in the wash and I do the washing up!

Night!

twoclimbingboys · 22/08/2009 09:20

i hope today is better for you jenny.

I managed to get slots for 2 flutterby fluff day fitteds yesterday, but will be waiting forever for them!

JennyPenny22 · 22/08/2009 10:06

Mega at your flutterby fluff slots. I was aiming to stall FF last night for some but was ill and forgot about it but couldnt have done it even if I had of remembered Had a major migrane

Both girls have their new coolababy pockets on - they seem good! Only had one prewash but hoping that sound be fine for MF. The fit is perfect on both girls and they are so trim compared to our other nappies. I am really hoping to stock these as they are such great value for money. Think I will get my sister some as a gift when she has her baby.

Also tried a pop n grow on Talia. I used the MF booster as the bamboo is stil prewashing as I know bamboo takes longer to get up to absobancy. Was quite bulky on Talia but maybe with the bamboo insert it will be better. And she is only 4 months so might be less bulky in a few weeks. She pooed after about half an hour so can't coment on absorbancy yet! I am going to put Elouise's one on at the next nappy change. looks lovely comfy! Its so soft! Might try it for Elouises nap!

Octothechildherder · 22/08/2009 10:16

Morning - we actually have a day at home together - so must go and do family time!

Have added some sets with washable wipes and the small/medium bags. Sneaked in some work while dh taken ds1 for haircut!

Jenny - let us know how it goes with the coolababy - ds3 wees through all pockets/AIO at about 2 hours! I am liking th deram dri atm though - so easy to use/wash etc

Happy fluffy saturday

4andnotout · 22/08/2009 11:04

Morning all

No fluffy post today DD4's soft shoes didn't turn up either but it's still lovely and warm and sunny so no shoes required really

I'm supposed to be sorting the changing bag so that we can go out in the new car but i thought i'd quickly sneak on here instead!! I'm stuck trying to think where to go, we have a tank of diesel and £20 so the world is my cockle

Better go, i can hear dp grumbling about car seats...

JennyPenny22 · 22/08/2009 11:45

I have fluffy post!

I have got:
3 WNNL - one with flowers, one nemo print (to make up for the fact I sold my nemo night nappy! LOL) and one purple with lizard embordory.
2 UD fitteds and matching wipes: here and here the wipes and lovely.

AND I got my "magno ball" which is meant to soften water so hoping that will help my crunchy nappies! In fact, I might use my cotton MEOS just to test it. They are the only cotton nappies we have left because of the hard water. I can't bring myself to sell them because they go for so little and I do think they are a great basic nappy. Will probably give/lend them to my sister when she has her baby.

Will let you know how the magno ball works! (It is completly different to eco balls which I know have already been tried).

rusmum · 22/08/2009 11:45

have added stash pic but rather boring!

BaronConker · 22/08/2009 11:47

Ladies, how much should I charge for PP fees when I'm charging £9 for the nappy including postage?

rusmum · 22/08/2009 11:49

think there is a fee calculator on CNT?

JennyPenny22 · 22/08/2009 11:51

Baron, there is a fees calculator on the PP site. No idea where but I know it does exsist! lol
