TheNatty · 15/08/2009 12:33

i just had loads too..
2 ittis in green and purple (DH choose the purple it looks great on charlie have put him down for a nap in it!)
2 tots bots size 2 bamboozles in popper (good old amazon)
...and a new sling (not fluff related i know )

i have just ordered 6 more TB bam from amazon as (i cant believe this) charlie has outgrown his size one bamboos(lollipops and LL)
they are so short in rise now they look silly.
he is truely the longest new born i have ever seen, he is in 3-6 babygrows which are huge on him but perfect in length.

about your ittis mumface i do hope my preloved one on the way doesnt do that

yummyspottyblueberry · 15/08/2009 13:35

All your fluff sounds lovely! I'm very as none of my nice stuff has arrived yet.

I got a Happy Heiney Pocket to try on Large DS and it's rubbish. I'm really disappointed. The outside is really stiff plastic and when on, the inner hangs out round the leg seams.

Cute cartoon dinasaurs though, DS loves it.

Oops - raining

TheNatty · 15/08/2009 13:50

yes i wasnt impressed with HH on my daughter. but they fit well on my son, maybe they just dont fit toddlers well?

TheNatty · 15/08/2009 14:16

scotia you will have to order WN wraps now..

Scotia · 15/08/2009 14:26

Ooh, don't tempt me I'm glad wee notions is closed to orders just now! I might sell some pockets to buy a couple of wraps.

I hope you get more than 1 with that order natty, it's not clear from the description at all. Although the original price seems to be about right for 5.

treedelivery · 15/08/2009 14:44

I'm here to buy a nappy wardrobe wet bag

Octo - what's in stock? I really think I want a sparrows print. Am overwhelmed by the lovely prints! I want one of everything in reality. Am sidetracked by the owls...

So what actually in or coming in, 'cos if I break my heart choosing and it isn't there I may cry

treedelivery · 15/08/2009 14:46

P.S. Dragon flair has some of the cutest wool in, skull and crossbone here should be free to those with a passion for nappies I think

4andnotout · 15/08/2009 15:44

Just back from uniform shopping trip and a quick report on my monkeyfoot bags, the xl is fabby and kept the smells of the dirty nappies out of the changing bags, i must have had my wipes to wet for the wipe bag though as it leaked and made my nappies wet I might have to carry dry wipes in it but i do really love them soaked in the scrumptious soap solution.

rusmum · 15/08/2009 19:46

Ohhhh found you! at last

Octothechildherder · 15/08/2009 20:02

Hello - got rained out of camping! Come home to nice bath and cold yummy wine!

Baronconker - got your email - will sort monday - no problem . I did vote for Jenny last time on CNT. Great to hear you are reviewing the Pop n Gro

Glad you love the bags

Tree - pink sparrows is lovely - spotted owls is very cute - reminds me of Harry Potter! Next batch not due for about 4 weeks. Have 3 baby shows coming up so preparing to stock up with mountains of them. My promo for september will be free washable wipes with the small bag (insider info lol)!

I am really shocked at all your itti problems - I've never really used them - more a fuzzi gal at heart. Don't sell many either - sell more bamboo nappies and close parent at the moment - goes through phases.

I have an itti bag here too - who shall I send it to?!! Maybe someone will get surprise fluffy post

Right - need to get kids in bed and drink wine to get over camping in the rain!

BaronConker · 15/08/2009 20:24

DSs 1 and 2 camping in the garden with DH for the second night in a row. Lovely to have bed indoors to myself, although also means I have sole responsibility for hunting for DS3's dummy in the middle of the night...
Got your reply Octo, thank you for that. As for the CNT review, wanted to do something that noone else had done so pop n grow seemed a good option. Might go and read the competition now!

sophietom · 15/08/2009 21:08

Baron my BB (it's lovely btw) arrived safely-thankyou

tree just drooled all over the keyboard when I clicked on your link to the knitted skull and crossbones

natty if that is for 5 it's quite a bargain

I have added a picture of Jake in his cushie tushie to my profile if anyone fancies a peek.

JennyPenny22 · 15/08/2009 23:40

sophie - LOVE the CT!

Got a very hungry catapiller wnnl today.

4andnotout · 16/08/2009 09:05

Sophie-(feels so weird typing that as it is my name too!) the CT looks lovely! Now im going to need some!

Octo-Have all the xl bags gone? Have just realised that while the bag is in the wash with the nappies i have nothing to put the dirties in Oh and do you still sell those little spray bottles?

Got a v.quiet morning as dp has taken dd's2 & 3 to essex to sort out our new car, the old witch mil has gone too so i declined and have stayed behind with dd4.

BaronConker · 16/08/2009 09:28

sophie, glad you like the BB. My village PO closed down last week and I had to drive to the horrible shopping centre to post parcels, and queue for ages. I'm afraid this is going to seriously curtail my nappy buying/selling habit - the village PO is opposite DS1's school so I walk past it twice a day, and the ladies in there are so lovely and let the boys take it in turns to weigh the parcels and slide them through the window. I feel really gutted about it closing, and every time I think that won't be popping in there twice a week any more to post fluff I am bereft!
Sophie, also love the CT - I've got that one and the lime bubbles but they're pre-washing at the mo. Bit worried about all that black material in with my white nappies, did you have any problems with colour running? Also, when you fold it down at the front, what do you do about the two inserts? Just use one, or fold the big one over?

JennyPenny22 · 16/08/2009 10:01

Baron I am in the same situation with the PO. I HATE IT. To post a parcel - I have to drive to the town centre, pay £1.50 to park. Get both gets in and out car/buggy. Then the ques can be up to an hour . And I can't fit the double buggy up the que lines . And the post office is upstairs so means lifts too. I have to say though, I do still sell, as I want the funds to buy!

Octothechildherder · 16/08/2009 10:26

4 - I have one boho and one pod posey left in XL.

Off to tackle ironing mountain

JennyPenny22 · 16/08/2009 10:44

I hate sundays - no fluffy post!

I have just bought yet another fitted UD soy and another flutterby dyed NL.

treedelivery · 16/08/2009 13:31

Sophie - love the CT

Octo - so can I not order for 4 weeks until the next batch comes? Where are your shows

What do you suggest for an out and about takes 3-5 nappies bag?

I love fuzzi's too, I just think they have been eclipsed a bit by the itti and bb thing do you? I think it's the fabric, maybe needs cheering up a bit. Although they do have those daisy prints don't they. Maybe need some texture, minky or whatever. So reliable though, and make amazing wraps.

Jenny - at your purchasing. How many ud's do you have now? I got your nappy and liners - huge thank you and a squeeze.

I still haven't heard from Greenbaby about my Itti that self destructed

Scotia · 16/08/2009 13:46

I just emailed Clothy n Crafty about my faulty itti yesterday tree, but not had a reply yet. It's still useable, but if it's a faulty batch I'd rather get it replaced.

Jenny, I think you're going to need a bigger house for all those nappies!!!

Octothechildherder · 16/08/2009 14:03

Sorry - confusion alert - have two XL left - one in boho and one in pod posey - large are a better size for 3-4 nappies and loads of patterns available in those.

Fuzzi did bring out their new btp - have tried it a few times - adjusts by elastic inthe legs (like school trousers!) - people have said the elastic is tricky on smaller babies. A few years ago they did a zoo pattern which I bought loads of but when came to large the old design were going cheap so just got all white. Can't see them expanding into minki tho!

There is a green parenting show in Swindon in October, one in Reading on 15 November (haven't booked but hoping to sort tomorrow) - may get Lollipop to take them to Earls Court in October too - not sure about that yet - but I will be there anyway as am baby show stand manager for Lollipop.

CraftynClothy is a MN April 2007 mum like me - but she is due another soonish I think.

Note - you don;t need a new home you need a nappywardrobe

treedelivery · 16/08/2009 14:17

Pink sparrows Vs Boho Vs white lava Vs owls

Crap! How do I decide?

I'd love a wardrobe. I even have space. Just no funds

I went to Earls court last year and got a small pack from lollipop Wonder if I saw you! I got a BG, 2 lollipop micro fleece and 2 fluffy, and a wrap. Oh and some wipes but I think I sent those to Natty.
I was 26 weeks or so, sign/ Oh to go back and do it all again. I love having babies. Such fun [apart from the colic/dairy intolerance, now diagnosed]

Are the Greenparenting ones aimes at pregancy and babies, or would I find things there of interest?

Scotia · 16/08/2009 16:16

I didn't know C&C is also a mumsnetter. I bought a few ittis from her at the end of June when they were on special offer, and they arrived the next day! I couldn't fault her service.

Octo, I love your bags too - anything with owls does it for me . I have 2 wee notions nappies with owls on.

Sadly, the shows you are going to are too far away from me but I'd like to go to one if there is one in Scotland. I missed the Baby Show in Glasgow earlier this year - will teach me to keep my ears and eyes open as to what is going on around me!
