As you were

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
BaronConker · 12/08/2009 20:23

Ooh, drlove, you are full of topics for us to debate today! Well done you!

Can I just ask though, are we talking boosters (to add extra absorbency to a nappy) or inserts (that you put inside pockets etc)? Sometimes a booster can be used as an insert, but can an insert be used as a booster? That's a whole different kettle of fish... [hmmm]

mumface · 12/08/2009 20:24

Sounds like the boosters I have in my BBH AIO's.They are bamboo & nice & soft.

BaronConker · 12/08/2009 20:25

Why didn't my face work on that last post?Oh yes, too many mmmmmms

the other thing I can't seem to get the hang of is crossing things through - do you have to put the hyphens around every single word in the sentence, or just at the beginning and end of the sentence?

Might give it a go!

i love nappies

Aha! Now I see! This is fun!

mumface · 12/08/2009 20:29

I never used to understand difference when I only had 2 parters.I ordered a nature babies microfleece insert it was so long & thick I could't understand how it was meant to fit on top of the nappy. Those innocent days

drlove8 · 12/08/2009 20:33

great idea about the tesco face cloths! cheap - leaves more money for minky!

mumface · 12/08/2009 20:36

If anybody still interested the coolababy pockets landed at babybots 2day. I expect they will fly out the door at that price.

4andnotout · 12/08/2009 20:40

I use the tesco flannels as washable wipes too when i run low

BaronConker · 12/08/2009 20:48

Poundland do microfibre ones which are great as extra, thin inserts to boost a pocket...

BTW, have just noticed we've moved to Products. When did that happen? Was that part of the whole deal that MNHQ talked about last week? I must say that I thought we were staying in Being a Parent...

drlove8 · 12/08/2009 20:55

im still waiting on my fuzzis ! grrrr where is that posty? all he brought me today was bills!

Scotia · 12/08/2009 21:03

Aw, thanks Jenny - won't matter about the fluffles if it doesn't work anyway as they were only 50p each I just thought it might liven them up a it as they are a bit grubby looking (as you would expect at that price really) but still work great. I only use them on ds at night, not really in the daytime as I find them too bulky on him.

TheNatty · 12/08/2009 21:03

lol baron!
mine was listed for alot cheaper baron lol, which is why i didnt put a link to it or anything wouldnt want to lose you a sale

yummyspottyblueberry · 12/08/2009 21:08

Evenin' all

How can general chat be products? I come on here to drool over everyone's links get advice as am a novice to anything other than prefold!

Am a bit grumpy, haven't been on the computer for a couple of days and have come on to be greeted by no less than 3 emails from different companies telling me my nappies are out of stock and have been waiting 3 weeks for some others and there is no sign

TheNatty · 12/08/2009 21:08

wrote that post a few hours ago i meant lol about the crossing things out!

i am SOOOo annoyed! ANOTHER postal strike round here today, and i had an email from WN saying they posted my wraps yesterday so should have had them this morning.
i have to wait in tomorrow now.. but worth it.
first thing im gonna do is take pics and put them up on FB!! soo excited!

TheNatty · 12/08/2009 21:18

BaronConker · 12/08/2009 21:19

I feel a bit tight now...

TheNatty · 12/08/2009 21:21

aww blueberry what nappies were u ordering??

TheNatty · 12/08/2009 21:24

thats ok baron, i always sell on for alot less then i paid for the nappies. it just feels wrong to me to charge what i paid cos it means i got a years use out of something for free.

im catholic, i pre-disposed to feeling guilty

yummyspottyblueberry · 12/08/2009 21:28

Itti, Blueberry, Berry Plush (2 still coming) and Wee Notions

Where are you getting you £10 itti's????

mumface · 12/08/2009 21:39

I got my strawberry Itti 2day
I now have 18
Anybody seen the moo moo one up close? Does it look patchy as they say the black came out grey but it is still v.cute.

swampfire · 12/08/2009 21:44

Don't bother with preloved Ittis yummyspotty, unless you are sure of their provenance [eyes 4's mediums and sends her DD growth hormones]. Some have been falling apart due to laminating issues and if you got one of those preloved you wouldn't really have any comeback. Babybots is doing Ittis for £11.59. Sure, there aren't extra inserts but they are brand spanking new, not preshat.

Scotia · 12/08/2009 21:46

Moo moo??? An itti? I've never seen this

4andnotout · 12/08/2009 21:48

Thats where i get my itti's from, they are fantastic for service

swampfire · 12/08/2009 21:52

Moo Moo

yummyspottyblueberry · 12/08/2009 21:52

No preloveds Swampy, my orders are all new - making the most of DH's OT

I may cancel the itti & BB orders and make the most of mistermoo's promo code....

Will look tomorrow, nappy shopping can take hours!
