Ooh, cute

swampfire · 12/08/2009 22:02

I think even with the promo code babybots are better value.

sophietom · 12/08/2009 22:14

natty I missed a bargain then - who knows if I really like the BB baron is sending me I might get yours as well if it is still unsold in a few days

swampfire I haven't seen the babybots site before- off to have a nosy and bookmark it for future reference

i have WAY to many nappies

swampfire · 12/08/2009 22:32

BBH, anyone? You neeeeeeeeeed one, spotty.

treedelivery · 12/08/2009 22:39

Can't stop to catch up on all this fluffy talk buggerations!

4andnotout · 12/08/2009 23:17

Those were the ones i was supposed to buy moths ago for £5 each but she never got round to selling them to me

drlove8 · 12/08/2009 23:48

is it ok to use jasmine oil in the nappy bucket? ive ran out of tea-tree and have almost none lavender oil left.... am waiting on fluffy post so who knows when i will get to the shops ?

TheNatty · 13/08/2009 00:03

LMAO doclove same here!
put it on a pantyliner/sanitry towel and stick it to the lid. that way it doesnt touch ur nappies

drlove8 · 13/08/2009 00:15
  • oh i can use one of those boots boosters i was on about earlier! - will need to selotape it to the bucket lid though!
what happens if the oil gets on the nappies? does it rot them?
treedelivery · 13/08/2009 10:25

Yay sunshine! Stripped nappies on the line and bleaching nicely. Loads of washing but out for the day at the Consultant review of Harriet. Wish me tonnes of luck - am nervouos!

Am trying to hang on for the postman though - who may get abuse if he doesn't bring fluff

drlove8 · 13/08/2009 11:07

right ive bought white vinegar, .... can someone please talk me through a nappy strip! .... im getting "the odour" on my hemp boosters and not really sure how its done? do i shove the vinegar in the wash or soak in the nappy bucket? and do i use a whole bottle?

TheNatty · 13/08/2009 11:54

FLUFFY POST
my weenotions order came, i love one of them, but the other im not so impressed with. was a lovely bright green lizard on the website. been sent a pastel one.. slightly annoyed as it doesnt look half as good on the white.

im ordering an oga boga (sp?) wrap next.. teehee

my fluff

twoclimbingboys · 13/08/2009 12:10

drlove - I've never stripped using vinegar, so can't really help sorry. To strip them I just use a full dose of detergent at 60 degrees (and occasionally a few soda crystals) and then loads of 30 degrees washes to get all of the product build up out.

tree - good luck seeing the consultant. fc it foes well.

natty - I love your fluffy post, particularly the lizard wrap. The customer service at wn is really good, if you aren't happy contact suzanne; i'm sure she would replace it with brighter colours.

drlove8 · 13/08/2009 12:11

Natty thats a lovely nappy!

TheNatty · 13/08/2009 12:20

which drlove?

just checked the site, the one i ordered is meant to be green and orange, so i think its just a mistake.
dont want to kick up a fuss tho as i know she works so hard! but at the same time it was 18quid so i feel like i should get what i wanted.

do you know what i mean?

twoclimbingboys · 13/08/2009 12:35

natty - contact her. I would just say you know she works really hard and so on .... but could you change it for the one you ordered.

JennyPenny22 · 13/08/2009 14:28

I got 2 more UD fitteds today and some UD minki wipes.
My New fluffy post But without the woolies (But preloved off CNT but only used a couple of times! I have one in medium and the other in large! Yay.

Tried the other UD fitteds this morning and ELouise pooed in it after abut 30mins And Talias was on from about 9am till 12.30pm while we went out and it was fine. Was quite wet but has only had one prewash so far.

2CB - have your mutts arrived? I thought thats what these were when I saw them as it had international stickers on but it was just where the envelope had been reused.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/08/2009 14:39

Still no fluffy post for me! I have lots on the way, getting very very impatient!!

Drlove - I strip using the method described on Nappy Lady. A wash at 30, or lower if your machine will let you. Then a wash at 60, and then a wash at 40. All three with no detergent, and all three the longest possible washes that your machine will do.
They come out lovely and fluffy and soft and smelling fab.

Jenny - those look lovely . They do such lovely stuff for girls!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/08/2009 14:41

Aww Natty so cute! How old is he?

sophietom · 13/08/2009 15:14

natty cute photos - whats an oga boga wrap? There is so much for me to learn in the world of cloth nappies

My stripy cushie tushie and tiger itti bitti arrived today and are drying on the line (looking gorgeous)- will get some action shots of Jake wearing them tomorrow. The itti bitti is so slim though I'm sure he will be wet through within 30 mins or so of putting it on {hmm}

twoclimbingboys · 13/08/2009 15:47

jenny - that fitted is really pretty. The mutts haven't arrived yet, I haven't had any fluffy post for ages!

sophietom - the itti trifolds are surprisingly absorbant, lasted 2 hours without the hourglass insert on Blake.

TheNatty · 13/08/2009 16:06

sophietom - its a wrap made of this materialhere from WN (when they are open again)
there are other colours, but thats the one like!

lizard wrap is growing on me, does anyone else think it looks a bit girly tho??

ali - charlie is 5 weeks i cant believe mediums fit him, they are massive but they are a perfect fit round the legs and waist (which is what matters really)

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/08/2009 16:31

Natty - ah bless him DS was that age this time last year. No the lizard is lovely for a baby - you could use it for either a girl or a boy. I probably wouldn't put DS in it now though because he's that much older IYKWIM?

Sophie - the Ittis are so absorbant. With the hourglass booster DS is in one for 3-4 hours with no leaks and he is a heavy wetter. They are amazing!

yummyspottyblueberry · 13/08/2009 16:40

HELP! I have just bought a couple of bits off CNT and tried to pay but my Paypal limit has been reached!!! OMG this nappy addiction is not funny!

I had a Stacinator wrap i wanted to try too

S'all your fault Swampy
