rusmum - sorry i'm not selling it. It cost that new as a custom order. If you are ordering from upsy daisy, mine are side snap and fit nicely over little lambs.

Octothechildherder · 15/06/2009 23:05

can you try my site again - the boffins should have worked some magic - some people can read it - others can't!

I have large ivory bittis - are you sure you don't want purple??!! They are like 1970's velour cat suit!

cyteen - can you not put the machine on rinse then drain to get rid of the water? I never realised this and used to open the door and jump out of the way

4andnotout · 15/06/2009 23:07

The purple itti's are my favorite so far

I can't get on the site.

OP posts:
cyteen · 16/06/2009 11:47

Octo - I'm loathe to do anything with it tbh, it's ancient and has a missing part already - I fear that any more exertion might make it explode. I'd rather schlepp down to the laundrette than risk a kitchen full of smoking washer parts and scummy water

4andnotout · 16/06/2009 12:57

Have out all my udos on the for sale board

OP posts:
4andnotout · 16/06/2009 13:45

Twoclimbingboys there are some large sandys in for sale, are they any good to you?

OP posts:
Octothechildherder · 16/06/2009 18:25

JennyPenny - sorry for the delay in posting the onelife cover - gone first today so should be with you tomorrow.

Hoped everyone would be able to see site now! I have been faffing about with the new zip bags and would say the medium hold two nappies and the large 4 - have ordered some extra large and more patterns

Have had two orders in my first day so quite pleased!

JennyPenny22 · 16/06/2009 18:34

Well done Octo! No worries about the delays. Did I pay you the postage or do I still owe you?

I am starting to get a collection of bamboo nappies in Medium if anybody has any (or soy is even better but I don't think anybody has any spare!).

twoclimbingboys · 16/06/2009 19:48

Thanks 4 - I am interested in large sandys but only if they are bamboo, but it was really nice of you to let me know.

Is anyone still after WNNN - I have a really old style one (mixture of poppers and buttons and the elastic is gone) so it will be cheap. But don't know whether to keep it as it fits Blake and Toby and will be worth hardly anything to sell!

JennyPenny22 · 16/06/2009 19:58

What size is it TCB? I did manage to sell an old WN pocket not long ago for £5 I think. If you are likely to use it, even as a spare, you would probably be better off keeping it TBH. How absorbant is it?

twoclimbingboys · 16/06/2009 20:12

It is a large (more like an XL really as the elatic is gone) and very absorbent (the hemp/bamboo WNNN insert). I think I will keep it. But I now have 10 night nappies between them which just seems excessive - Toby has 3 XL UDNNs, 1 XL WNNN, 1 XL standard minki and this very old style one I am debating selling. Blake has 3 new L WNNNs, 1 UDNN and 1 old style WNNN - which is too low in the rise for him and I really should sell it but it has a monkey on and is too cute to part with - lol!

Jenny - have you found any more nappies that suit Eloise of a day or Talia of a night?

JennyPenny22 · 16/06/2009 20:35

Oh if it was medium I might have been tempted if you were selling! I got my first medium WNNN yeterday and it fits Talia already! It is high in the rise for her so needed a big wrap but it wasn't bulky at all!

I have spent so much time worrying about getting onesize stuff that will fit both the girls and I only suddenly realise today that it won't actually be long till Talia can fit in stuf like size 2 bamboozles etc that they can both wear! Although actually the bamboozles are only just about fitting Elouise!

Octothechildherder · 16/06/2009 21:24

There is a shop in Bristol where you can buy soy fabric - I was going to buy some and make some boosters to see if they are good overnight - have bamboo ones already out my various nappies, just wanted to see how it would compare.

Don't worry about postage Jenny - just pleased has gone to good home - it is a size 3 btw!

JennyPenny22 · 16/06/2009 21:35

Oh thank you octo! Thats really kind of you!

I found a website the stocked soy too and I was really tempted to buy some, but didn't know if it was the right stuff. UDs soy is "French soy terry". The stuff UDs use is lovely and I would love to get hold of the fabric, was wasn't sure if it was the right stuff! It is more absorbant than bamboo or hemp and tries ALOT quicker! If you know more than me then please do let me know!

Octothechildherder · 16/06/2009 22:10

I don't know anything about soy - should really - will get some and send you a sample to see if it is the same stuff.

As a thank you for me faffing about with my website and stuff I have created a discount for you - enter MNOCTO (I presume at my checkout - not sure!!! ).

The waterproof zipper bags arrived today - have loads more coming too - they are fab! Really pleased Maybe I should ask MN to run a competition. Will add to list of things to do!

4andnotout · 16/06/2009 22:49

Octo- when you have some prices and fabric choices for the bfing cover can you let me know please, when im in a swimsuit im finding it hard to bf discreetly, this may help!

OP posts:
4andnotout · 16/06/2009 22:50

Oh and the site looks fab by the way!

OP posts:
Octothechildherder · 16/06/2009 23:56

Will do - they look fab - should be here by next weekend. Def morning glory and olive lacework (see wet bags patterns) - will be about £24. Will be good to have someone actually use one and get some feedback.

ceb80 · 17/06/2009 09:56

Octo site looks fab, well done.Very generous with the discount thanks! Will be buying some Pop n Gros when I have some funds! Just about to sell a load of stuff now I know what works for us.

Quick question, I bought a WN preloved on another board, think it was sold to me as a WN NL but can't see anything on it that says it is. How do you tell the difference between them? This is a velour outer with snaps and a snap in double layer booster if that helps!

JennyPenny22 · 17/06/2009 10:00

Does anybody know how much it costs to sell on used nappies? I really need to start shifting my smalls so I can get some mediums and hav been listing my cotton ones for weeks as we only use bamboo now and not sold much so far. Just want them gone really.

Octo - that would be brilliant if you could send me a sample if you get it. I thought about asking UD but thought that would be a bit too cheeky!

4andnotout · 17/06/2009 10:48

Morning all

I have cash burning a hole in my pp account and it is driving me crazy!

I sorted my nappy unit out last night whilst trying to get dd4 to sleep in her cot, and it is overflowing I think i need to sell my udos, bumhuggers and all my wraps bar the tots flexi wraps. We only seem to be using ittis during the day, bbos or bamboo easifits in the nappy bag, and bbh hemp or bamboo at night.

I also have boxes of inserts and boosters i don't even touch i think a huge destash is in order!

Hope my tiger itti's come today, im tempted to order the other prints too, wonder what dp would say to that
